  1. Stevie seems almost a little TOO down and his twitter comment is slightly disturbing...

"I PRAISE YOU 24/7!!!!!! AND THIS HOW YOU DO ME!!!!! YOU EXPECT ME TO LEARN FROM THIS??? HOW???!!! ILL NEVER FORGET THIS!! EVER!!! THX THO... "

    There's something special in this...

He shows his praise, questions his faith, and shows reverence with thanks. He's a good man, and I, for one, am proud he's a Bill.

Stevie: I'm a bigger fan of yours now. Forget the sharpie on the T-shirt and all the self-promotion. Perhaps this is meant to provide you with some humbling direction on how HE expects you to lead?

  2. If you read the text, it's pretty obvious Pete focuses on the QB. It's pretty much the only players he mentions, with a few exceptions. So, this is really nothing more than a QB ranking list. Let's face it, our QB's haven't done anything to impress, so it's hard to argue otherwise.

I agree that it's better to be ranked low when you come in with all the new pieces we have. To have high expectations and a high ranking will give you more attention that Travis Henry on Father's Day... and that kind of pressure is the last thing this young team needs. I predict the 2010 Buffalo Bills will go out and EARN some respect, and subsequently some confidence this season. To me, that will be a hugh victory regardless of the record.

    I can't wait until Sunday.

    GO BILLS!!!

  3. Seems like there are alot of positives this guy could bring that we've sorely needed for some time. I like the fact that everywhere he's been, a solid running game has emerged - and he's done it with some second stringers too. I mean geez, Mike Gandy was his left tackle in the Super Bowl!

Combine a smash-mouthed coach like this with a proven DC that DOESN"T play Tampa 2, and we could be in business. Kinda sounds like what the Jets did, eh?

  4. The denial from other candidates is making the Billick option more attractive. Not because he may be the only one left... but because he would come with a huge chip on his shoulder. Always a big motivator. The Coach nobody wanted with the organization nobody wanted... starting to look like a nice marriage.

    Interesting take...

  5. Though the feeling for me has been slower, the excitement of Sunday afternoons and watching my team has also faded. I live out of the market, and invest each year in the Sunday NFL Ticket. It has hit me in the past few weeks that, in a round-about way, my financial support is actually endorsing the "product" my team puts on the field. And, I feel terrible about that.

After enjoying "The Ticket" for nine seasons, I'm done. No more $ to the league or to the Bills. No more Bills shirts/hats/etc. No more. I'm done. If it fits into my schedule, I'll listen to the radio or perhaps watch a game if by chance it's on my local station, but that's it. Until there are sweeping changes to what used to be my favorite team, AND, the results start showing consistently on the field, my money and time will be spent elsewhere. It is sad...

  6. A few years ago, this organization pissed away a ton of money on a veteran line that never materialized. Until they show us a "dud", I'm behind our FO's continued effort to build a youthful line. Besides, it seems our new line coach works well with the young fellas, so, I say stick with the plan that appears to be working.

  7. Has a team that plays a Tampa 2 defense EVER dominated T.O.P.? It seems that style of play lends itself to allowing first downs and then stops the drive when they run out of field. The goals seems to be holding the opponent to field goals... I don't like it.
