It's really a combination of QB, coaching, play calling, and front office acceptance of mediocrity. It truly takes a group effort to screw up so many variables.
Sully's "Fitzgailey" commentary of today pretty much sums up this organizations productivity while this grouping of folks has been assembled. This, is sad;
"As a Bill, Fitzpatrick has a record of 18-30 as a starter. Just two of those 18 came against a team that finished the season with a winning record. Those were the home win over the Patriots a year ago and the last game of the 2009 season against the Colts, in which Indianapolis rested most of its starters. Fitz has never started and won a road game in his NFL career against a team that finished above .500."

So very sad. In spite of Dave Wannstadt and our defense, we could have won this game. Instead, our brain trust put it on #14's back while a top 5 RB stood on the sidelines. The Bills season ended today.
What I find so interesting is when Chan decides to run the ball, he looks like a genius. When he puts it on Futzpatrick we all start talking about our next coach...

Geez... all the prognosticators agreed the Chiefs will win BECAUSE of Fitzpatrick. Though I read that a lot here, it sounds more serious when they say it.
I hope he proves them wrong.

False. CBS went through the starting defense at the beginning of the game, therefor naming some of our D-line players.
Yeah... introductions are cute, but as I said, none were noted FOR THEIR PLAY.

When you start the 3rd quarter in garbage time, it's pretty easy to move the ball and look good. Sorry... but you want to look good in the first 5 min. when it matters.

Were the names of any of our D-line players mentioned for their play today. "Super Mario" was taken out of the game by a second-string, third year player, mono-le-mono. On one play, he was standing in the backfield looking totally lost while the RB ran right past him. Not sure where this is headed, but it didn't look like he earned is $800,000 today...

All I had to do was agree to go paperless. I was also offered a free dvr upgrade and some other stuff, but that would have added more fees back in.

Not every thread needs to be 8 pages. How do you guys determine what needs its own thread or not? Why not just make one giant thread called "football?" One was about the breaking news. Another was a heartfelt post on his mom. Good grief.

After watching the Chargers offense clicking against a relatively good defense last night, I see us picking up another "L" on Sunday. Our defense is just too weak. The only glimmer of hope we have is luck in the turnover department and maybe our offense will play a complete game. Though he had a few penalties, I was impressed with Gaither starting at left tackle for his first game with the bolts. There's another guy we should have picked up...
