  1. Beane nickel and diming when there is currently no reason to do so. We know what we need, just get it and be done with it before it becomes a non sale.
  2. You guys are like a breath of fresh air. Thank goodness other people get it.
  3. Because they are undervaluing what Hopkins brings to the field. Also, some teams don’t have the type of owners we have who are willing to eat absurd amounts of cash to win. Hopkins has produced everywhere he’s gone, and done it with less talent than most. OBJ had Kupp and Stafford and still struggled. Hopkins has never played with a QB or WR on the same caliber as Josh and Diggs. If we traded for Hopkins, he would have 1,400 yard season. Sig it.
  4. You never pay MSRP because there are other options to choose from, more than 1. There are only so many elite WRs that are available, which drives up the price for acquisition. There are no other choices outside of Hopkins that is better, none.
  5. “What good is fair market rate” if it doesn’t get you want you want? Sometimes you have to pay extra for things you want. Don’t over think it, just let it flow and deal with the fallout later.
  6. DeAndre has done nothing but put up 1,000 yard seasons with mediocre QBs and no opposite WR to take off double teams. His double team rate with his career numbers is astounding. He will absolutely blow up playing with Diggs and Allen. I can’t believe we are even having this conversation.
  7. And then we now have Diggs and Hopkins headed into the draft and excited to watch the best show on Earth. It would be worth it, absolutely worth watching that play out for our Alien! Unacceptable. Criminal to pinch pennies over a top 15 WR, and one that would free up Diggs the entire time.
  8. Me personally when I negotiate, I don’t haggle when I really really want something. Nickel and diming risks spoiling the mood of the other party or risking it being taken underneath you. I only haggle on things I know I can live without or it’s meh if I win meh if I lose. Given other options that exist realistically (OBJ, maybe Jeudy) I’d much rather have Hopkins given what he has shown last year and during his career with less surrounding talent vs playing with Alien and Diggs. This is a golden opportunity and I’d hate to see it fall through the cracks because we squabbled over picks or money that isn’t going to matter if we win a super bowl.
  9. 95/100 scenarios I agree. But where we are at today, this type of aggression is warranted. Nobody is guarding both Diggs and Hopkins. Beane needs to stop over thinking it and realize that we are unstoppable with Hopkins drawing attention away from Diggs. It’s a no brainer.
  10. Lol Denver just lost a WR to an injury. I doubt they trade Jeudy now. It’s either Hopkins or we roll into the draft. We want Hopkins! Just say no to running it back. Running it back is bad kids, don’t do it.
  11. Then AZ just says ok Dhop, we are keeping you regardless of how you feel. Nobody wins. Bills lose out on a golden opportunity and we run it back. Sigh.
  12. What if AZ says F it, and just holds onto Dhop without taking the Bills “best offer” . Sometimes bidding against yourself is necessary to land the deal.
  13. Because we need this. We need another weapon for Allen and we have a 2 year window before we have to retool. We don’t have time to hope we hit on a WR in the draft that can give you want Hopkins can.
  14. Agreed, we are such a poverty franchise. Imagine being hung up on value semantics, it’s why we will never win a super bowl.
  15. Just do it, nobody is going to care about the 2nd and 3rd when we win a super bowl this year. Yeah I’d do the 2nd for 2023 and the 3rd for 2024.
  16. Well at least it helps retrieve high valued jewelry at the swanky hotels we stay at.
  17. It’s Ralph’s monkey, we kind of just took it on hoping one day it would grow up to be a successful monkey and leave to help raise a family on its own. But no, it’s firmly digging it’s claws into our backs and slowly ripping away the flesh.
  18. At some point we have to take a swing for the fence. If we don’t get it, oh well, at least it won’t be for a lack of not trying. Hopkins is the best asset available to help in areas that need the most help and has the best immediate return value.
  19. Yes, but I also don’t want to be stuck in playoff limbo, where we are too successful to land another solid piece to win a super bowl. I’m ok being in the rams seat if it means we win a super bowl. We have to get the monkey off our backs.
  20. There is always a simp fan willing to eat a plate of poo. Easiest business in the world.
  21. I won’t buy tickets, etc. Just like did with Ralph after some time. But it doesn’t matter, there will always be a sucker fan that replaces. Owning the Bills is the easiest business on Earth.
  22. I will always be an active cyber fan, what I mean by lurking is financially protesting.
  23. I’m done making excuses for this team. No more crappy this or crappy that. Show me the baby. They got embarrassed by Cinci, and until we beat them and make it to the super bowl, I refuse to believe otherwise. So what excuse will be this year when Beane fails to win a super bowl? Or the next year when he doesn’t win a super bowl. How long does Beane have to fail before you put him in the hot seat?
  24. Von Miller wasn’t really a super bowl swinging trade, it was getting us to a point where we could reliably stop opponents enough to outscore. You must forget we had an elite DE during the super bowl years, and it by itself wasn’t enough to win a super bowl. You need power house offensive players to win a super bowl. Cinci, KC, Philly, and SF have all proved that. SF went out and got CMC to go along with Kittle and Deebo. Philly has 2 great WR, and Cinci has 3 great WRs. We have only 1. We aren’t going anywhere without getting another big time offensive weapons like all the other teams do. It’s why we got spanked and embarrassed by Cincinnati. So what is Beane’s plan then? Go get a 1B WR in the draft? That almost likely means taking a WR at #27. What WR in the draft is comparable to Hopkins, and are we going to see immediate impacts on offense from the #27 WR more so than we would get with Hopkins? At some point Beane has to just make it happen, he has to go down swinging rather than walking it back. Walking it back is unacceptable.
