Do you want a federal law or not?
At 1.35 of the video he said he would take her considerations. So dems should legislate this. This proposed law removes the right for a woman to decide what is BEST for her with consultation of her PHYSICIAN.
More details on the actual law -siting actual language from the tweets below:
- Woman must get counseling or medical care 48 hours before the procedure BUT not at an abortion clinic
- Also language around what is required when an abortion results in the birth of a live baby, which is not something that can happen.
- Parents of a minor who gets an abortion are allowed to sue the provider—you know, unless the parent is the rapist.
-
If RED STATES laws are more severe than Lindsey Graham's nationwide ban - THOSE LAW STAY.
- ^^^^^^^^READ THAT AGAIN

He said he would take that woman’s consideration into the bill. Seems like there is room for a deal here. Dems need to call his bluff. If they care about rights they get a deal done hereThat is NOT what he said...

So the only differences are that grahams is 15 weeks and those states around 24. Btw graham proposed a 20 week limit last year. Seems like this could be a time for a deal to be made.
Wrong.

I already provided you with links and my POV on said topic. You seem to think my POV is wrong. Correct me.

California has abortion laws you realize right? And New York and every Dem state?
There is no strict cut-off date as to when a pregnancy may be terminated. But absent special circumstances, abortion services cannot be performed once the fetus becomes viable. By definition, a fetus becomes viable if it is likely to sustain survival outside of the uterus. It has to be able to survive without extraordinary medical measures.
Doctors determine whether a given fetus is viable. They make this decision on a case-by-case basis
Abortion access is available for New Yorkers and for those coming from outside of New York State. You do not have to be a New York State resident to receive care here.
Medication abortion and in-clinic abortion is available in New York State. You can speak to a provider about your options, and your privacy will be protected every step of the way.
In New York, you can get an abortion up to and including 24 weeks of pregnancy. After 24 weeks, you can still get an abortion if your health or pregnancy is at risk.
Who is making the decision in California and NY?
The patient and their doctor; not elected SUITS.

The legislative process is a B word…isn’t it? It’s way easier to have an activist court just rule by fiat…..or have executive orders commissioned with a pen and a phone. 😂
OH, it's a B alright - and it will backfire in spectacular fashion for you and the cult -> trust the process.

What is this guy on?
It's what happens when you hit rock bottom and realize the guy you championed from day 1 is no longer a viable presidential candidate.

Keep deflecting. Democracy lives…Trust the Process. No matter what the Red Menace wants you to believe.
I'm not deflecting - YOU ARE! You can't argue against what RED STATES are doing - taking away rights and trying to erase people is NOT democracy.

The defining element of a democracy is NOT that you can do whatever you want. Were you asleep during Social Studies today?

Losing it? I’m fine actually. Thanks for asking!
One person’s Trust the Process is another person’s Defending Democracy….but you don’t really want to live in a ‘democracy’ do you? It only appears to suit you when you get your way.
I thankfully live in a blue state where our GOP governor is not taking away women's rights, banning books, sugarcoating history, erasing LGTBQ, and making it difficult for people to vote.I know you live in California where life is similar.
Meanwhile, you’re claiming that I don’t want to live in a democracy while your friends in red states are literally doing everything in their power to control what people do: say, and live.
You are delusional as always. So obvious you can’t stand who your party really is because all you do is run around this place telling people they don’t buy your sugarcoated definitions of democracy and fascism.

What all these accusations and memoirs lack is a definitive ending and any sense of finality. They're all like a murder without a body. Because there are never any "real" victims or tangible harm.
Otherwise, can anyone provide the names of all the Democratic officials and Trump enemies that got their homes raided, their phones and personal possessions seized, along with being harassed, charged, and unjustly convicted of something as a result of the DOJ being corrupted?

Oh brother. They’re both legislative bodies. You REALLY don’t know how anything works…do you? What the Right has consistently opposed is various levels of the court making decisions that should be made by the legislative branch. The Republicans, like the Democrats, are free to put up any legislation that they’d like. It doesn’t mean it will pass. But at least it’ll get some honest debate. It’s how our system of government works.
