From a fantasy perspective it's going to be real interesting to see how these skill positions work themselves out.

With Josh and the offensive production that we are going to have, projecting the breakdown of those stats- beyond Diggs- is going to be a challenge but also create some value if you guess right.

I’ll be drafting James Cook in every league, he’s going to catch a lot of balls.

I always had Wirfs graded as the best OT in that class. That he went 4th of the top 4 guys was always mad to me. Granted he has played exclusively at right tackle the "easier" side so far, but he is already a first team all pro and if you look at Tampa's line when he went down in the playoffs you definitely saw how valuable he is to them.

This one still stings for me too, I placed a bet on draft night that Wirfs would be the first OL taken, couldn't believe he was the 4th off the board.

I've stayed completely away from this topic but I feel the need to correct this.  I was a licensed massage therapist for more than 10 years in NYS.  We are trained on proper draping techniques.  The groin is not an area that is massaged.  If you are referring to the inner thigh then yes it can be massaged however the draping is done very tightly under the leg so as to prevent exposure.  If Watson is choosing to use a small towel, most massage therapists would decline as exposure would certainly be a risk.  I do not know a single therapist that gives clients that option or really any option of draping.  We have our own supplies including sheets for draping.

Any exposure immediately puts us at risk of the client ruining our reputation or filing a complaint with the NYS office of professions.  Licenses can and have been revoked for those situations.

I really like your chef analogy in another post, it highlights the biggest red flag for me.  Sports massage is a very specific type of massage.  Swedish massage is what most people think of when they think of massage.  A professional athlete would/should have a specific therapist they like to work with.  Most therapists have regular clients as once you find a good therapist, people choose to continue to work with them.  On top of that, the Texans likely have therapists on staff if he really was seeking treatment.

I believe that some of the women giving the massages were not actually licensed though, I’m not sure how someone can not be licensed and give massages. But the fact that an NFL qb is going to unlicensed massage therapist is pretty shady stuff. So he’s basically saying that since they weren’t licensed, the same rules don’t apply and everything was consensual.

OJ Howard was a somewhat sneaky under the radar signing and will probably be TE1 here in 2023 assuming Knox becomes too expensive to keep. He had decent numbers in TB before Gronk came there to play with Brady. Obviously can draft another one next year too.

Just one of many reasons this team needs to do whatever it takes to win a championship this year before this roster stats to look very different.

Would be pretty wild if they just re-sign OJ for 2022, likely at a much cheaper price than Knox who could walk for a huge payday.

That is an absurd contract for Njoku, he’s an average TE at best, come on Cleveland.

Ok, I was just watching GMFB and Adam Rank is on talking about his top 5 rookies with fantasy impact, and he ranked James Cook at #4 and spoke very highly of him. HOWEVER. the funniest part was that he called Devin Singletary, CJ Spiller by mistake, and no one seemed to notice.  😀  I thought I was hearing things at first, but I went back and confirmed it.

That said, I believe Cook can have an Alvin Kamara in his prime, type of impact on this team.

My expectations are much much lower than Alvin Kamara, that is way too high. I'm expecting JC to run about 90-100 times a year and catch 75ish balls, I don't expect him to get the carries that Kamara does, I just have concerns about Cook's size and ability to be durable if he sees a lot of action.
