Looking at the positive, Coleman could be the broken play monster.  Allen leaves the pocket and throws it up for Coleman 55 yards down field.

Allen is probably sick of his receivers not coming down with 50/50 balls, that's probably why he loves Coleman. Think about the shot he took to Gabe Davis in game 1 against the Jets last year, right through his hands. Think about the Diggs play against KC in the playoffs, right through his hands.

  2. I've said it before, I don't trust the Bills wide receiver scouting and this looks like a questionable pick to me. Obviously the 40 time is pretty scary, but I also don't see this "play speed" that everyone is claiming he has. He looked great in the gauntlet drill at the combine but I don't see that on the field. I also wanted Worthy because his tape looks so much better than Coleman, hope I'm wrong. I am keeping my expectations very low with this guy.

Also, it's going to suck when McConkey crushes it this year with Herbert, he'll get a ton of targets in that offence.

  3. I just don't trust their wide receiver scouting ability, Worthy seemed like a slam dunk pick there. He's got the production, the tape is awesome, and he destroyed the combine, but he's on the smaller side, are we really going to do better than him at that spot? Then we hand him to the Chiefs? It just feels so wrong.

If someone like Tank Dell who is shorter, slower and maybe even lighter than Worthy can be good in the NFL…. Why can’t Xavier?

He is not a one trick pony

IMO he is better than Tank Dell right now.

I think the Bills would need to move UP to get Worthy. With the combine 40 record and legit tape, I don't think he's there at 28.

Who says they didn’t like those guys?  They wanted a vet for a young Allen to aid his development.  I don’t think you can conclude that they didn’t like Jefferson, Aiyuk, etc.

That was the report at the time, I recall Beane and company doing some heavy WR scouting in 2020 and word was they didn't like what they saw, thus trading for Diggs, a sure thing. Maybe the plan was to trade the pick all along though, who really knows.

  6. This regime is good at identifying WR talent later in the draft (Davis, Hodgins, Shakir have all done well) but I question their ability to evaluate first round talent. In the 2020 draft, they didn't like the guys they scouted and proceeded to trade the 1st for Diggs. Meanwhile, they passed on the likes of Justin Jefferson, Aiyuk, Higgins, and Pittman. I'm happy with Diggs but the fact they didn't like these guys is a major red flag.

Absolutely. Samuel is an ideal "screen guy". With Brady liking to throw those Im glad they identified that they needed someone with his skillset to run those rather than force it to Diggs. I anticipate those screens being more successful this season with Samuel.

I would cringe when they gave those screens to Diggs, he was already banged up and avoiding contact. Looking forward to watching Samuel create some YAC on those.

Excellent signing. Good RAC guy. Good hands as well. Upgraded.

I expect there will be lots of receptions at the LOS for this guy. They had Diggs receiving those throws late in the season and that’s not his game at all.

  9. The squares are a great way to get a bunch of people involved and you don’t have to be watching the game together. I find them kind of boring though, so I made Super Bowl bingo cards this year and it was a lot more fun. You can only participate if you’re at the party though.
