Isn't Josh one of the best QB's in the league against the Blitz? how come this isn't the main conversation.

Hasn't Diggs and Beasley beaten some of the best CB/SCB in the league? Why isn't this the main conversation.

Hasn't our Line given Josh a ton of time even against the blitz?

Sorry guys I could go on but I think you get the point.

I'm tired of this doom and gloom fearing other teams.

It is , but we have yet to face a secondary as good as the ravens this year

Would love to see Williams brought up as well - a bruising change of pace option for selected plays, also some RB depth if one of the other guys go down.   For protection, just make sure Singletary/Yeldon are out there on passing down.  Question is who would he replace (wish the NFL would add a few more payers to the game day roster limit - reward deep teams and teams that have good specialists on their roster for STs etc.)

I think Williams needs to be activated in case the weather severely limits our pass game and we need a plan B.

As was already stated, yes.  Missing 2 corners

    well that’s why

When healthy they have the best secondary in the league

the game will come down to Allen and our WR’s vs their secondary. Forget about Lamar, if we can’t put points up through our pass game we don’t stand a chance. Lamar will get his yards, question is will we be able to match it

The Browns put up 42 on this defense in week 14. Jarvis Landry had a huge day and Baker made a ton of throws off schedule and out of the pocket. I think there's reason to believe that Josh and our WR corp can have success.

Of course, the Ravens put up 45 in this game, even with Lamar taking a 10 minute bathroom break. I think our D is better than Cleveland's but who knows. This game could be wild.

weren't the ravens missing a bunch of guys on defense that day?

One point of clarification. I've seen a couple comments the last 50 pages or so about our "TEs". We really only have 1 now.

Last year we had three tight ends and it was fantastic. We had Andrews, Hurst and Boyle.

This off-season we traded Hurst to the Falcons, leaving us two. Then Boyle got hurt during the Patriots game. We've picked up Eric Tomlinson, but he's basically a non-factor.

That's changed our offense this year. Those 3-TE sets were absolute daggers to defenses, and that part of our offense is just gone. Poof.

Ugh. I can't stand comments like this. They're short-sighted and frustrating. If you read even one article on LJ you would know that's not him at all. He a legitimately very, very nice dude.

He actually said after the game he wanted to pull the team off the field so that they DIDN'T get into it with the Titans. He knew emotions were high because of what's happened the last couple games and then the defense going out onto the logo.

this website has a vendetta against Lamar for no reason

just look at the "Lamar era is over" thread, the guy who made that is a total clown.

Most are doing well.. Baltimores D is better than Indy.  They run the ball better than Indy so they win.  I think Buffalo wins similar to GB vs Tennessee a few weeks ago.  Its going to snow to some degree.  Buffalo gets up early and Baltimore folds.

    big difference

GB has a power running game, we don’t.

also Ravens secondary is miles ahead of the titans, comparing the two is a really bad take

Bears announce they are retaining Nagy for another 8-10 games.

Some of these teams are just delaying the inevitable, although if I was an Eagles an I would be depressed at that list of names.

Also, just in general, there doesn't seem to be a lot of great choices out there.

    Saleh, Bienemy, Daboll.

Other than that, lots of "meh" choices, or just plain depressing ones. Glad we are where we are!

Nagy has a winning record without a real QB

So go to this site for specifics on OFF formation use by team  https://www.sharpfootballstats.com/personnel-grouping-frequency.html

Per this site, Ravens use 12, 21 or 22 formation with only 2 or 1 WR on field 42% of the time.  They have highest play success rate with 22 formation > 61%.  These 3 formations are where it might make sense to use 3 LBs and explain why Lorenzo Alexander played 70% of Defensive snaps last year vs Ravens.

This defense desperately needs an elite LB/edge rusher

I'd love to hear the Miami war room debate about Tua vs Herbert last year. Miami fans were absolutely dying to get Tua and would have been crushed if they took Herbert. I wonder if the fan's craziness for Tua had anything to do with the pick, or am I just dumb for thinking the teams care what the fans want...?

our fans were praying for Rosen or Darnold if he fell

The Texans franchise is in utter chaos so right now, trading Watson is on the table.

One of the Texans biggest fault has been to over-support "good god fearing" people and right now that is largely driven by Jack Esterby.

Deshaun Watson wants out and I cant blame him.  The  Texans desperately need frat picks. I could see the brain dead Texans trading for Tua.  Tua does two several for the Texans:

    1) It provides PR cover for the organization which is desperately needed.

    2) Texans need draft picks and the Dolphins have them.

    3) Tua is by all accounts a great honest, god fearing person which the Texans and their ownership has always covetted.

If the Texans trade Watson to Miami I hope the entire franchise burns to the ground.

How dumb do you have to be to trade a top 5 QB to an AFC opponent.

Lets hope they hire whoever Watson wants as HC and he shuts up

It seems predictable when you watch them play, but he's so elusive and can also turn those into big runs if he spots a hole.  I'm really curious to see how we defend him.

We're really going to need that INT, or a couple of them.  This game feels like one that will be decided by the turnover battle.

we need to fix our tackling issues or Lamar will run for huge chunks
