A dynamic running back is the final piece to our offense.
yup. RB’s on this roster are nowhere near #1 backsEven Mahomes needed help from his run game last season in the playoffs , every top QB does in the post season

Rodgers looks like he’s on vacation right now
he’s hardly breaking a sweat, meanwhile Allen runs around for his life every play trying to make something happen

Packers showing how important a run game is at this stage of the playoffs

Winds are picking up
shifting from 7-13mph to now 17mph
really hope Daboll has the short passing game ready today

Do you feel we just couldn’t?
or we abandoned because they were giving us lanes for josh to tear them up with their 5 v 5 and 6 v 6 scheme they were running
our run game is terribledefensive schemes have nothing to do with that. I just as bad at run blocking

The Bills defense has gotten very little respect this week. They played a very balanced offense last week. Those tend to give them more trouble. The Ravens are dead last in passing. Worse than the Jets. The Bills give up the same ypc on the ground as the Ravens, but no discussion of that.
im wondering if we can run the football today -
Even Rodgers has a run game ...

They are going to blitz and pressure him like crazy.
Josh is going to have to make the right reads and throw into those blitzes with some accuracy, and not run around playing hero ball for a 17 yard sack loss.
It would help if the OL has one of their best games of the year!
let’s hope Daboll wakes up this weekend and calls a much better game.
If Yeldon is starting use him in the screen game. And use Beasley and JB on those quick slants. I don’t wanna see long developing routes today, it’s not gonna work. Josh won’t have that much time to throw.

NFL network reporters just said ravens locker room talk is they are going to treat josh like a RB.
Irv thinks that’s code for they are going to try to take his head off...
hope Mongo has something to say about that
if they wanna take him out the game we can do the same to Lamar.

Wouldn’t look too much into it
we came off an emotional patriots victory and stomped Seattle

I’m not sure what happened to smoke last week but we need him to step up big time tomorrow night
Yup we really need Brown tomorrowhe was ghost last week and ghost the playoff game last year. Time to step it up for him

Wonder what Daboll cooks up with Yeldon in the lineup
there is very little game film on him, Daboll has to call the best game of his career tomorrow, which is much needed considering how he called the Texans and colts games

I just hope yeldon has a good game. If not, we'll forever here how Williams should have played
this is why we need 3 RB's activated.
if the winds suppress our pass attack what is our plan b? Yeldon is not a good runner

I don't mind the team--in fact, I'd like to see them succeed after so many down years. But what do people see in Baker Mayfield? I must be missing it. Is it his persona in the commercials? In interviews, he comes across as an insufferable twit.
that’s what I mean. Anytime he has a little success he’s labeled as the next big thingAllen has the best QB performance of the weekend but you’ll never hear about it
-
I’ll be absolutely sick if we lose this weekend and the browns pull off the upset and then go on to beat the Ravens and end up in the SB
The Baker love affair will be absolutely unbearable
not sure why so many Bills fans love rooting for the Browns, I cannot stand that team

Question for you all.
Do you all feel more at ease heading into this game?
Not so much that we will win. More so that the Bills have gotten four or more monkey's off their back this year and regardless if we win or lose at this point, I believe most fans will think it has been a successful year to build off of.
1. Josh Allen Pick has panned out and in his 3rd year, has become a legit top 5 QB for the foreseeable future.
2. Won the Division for the first time in 25 years.
3. Swept the Patriots, Dolphins, and Jets for the first time.
4. Won a playoff game in 25 years.
I mean this year has been amazing being a Bills fan and going into this weekend, i am considering this year a success because we all know winning in the playoffs is difficult, more so than the regular season.
I hope we win, but if we don't I am at peace with that as well.
I always said a division title and 1 playoff win was a huge success for us.
Our SB window just opened this year and we are just getting started. I don’t think we’ve seen the best from this team yet. If we improve our defense and develop a run game we will be a top 3 team in the league every year

Just watched the most recent weather forecast video at WIVB's website...the weather guy says it's going to be getting colder on Saturday as the day wears on, there will be an increased chance of local snow, and maybe even some lake effect snow...in particular hitting localized areas such as Orchard Park.
Winds will be picking up, temps will be dropping, he thinks good shot at snow during game, possibly lake effect snow.
It will be interesting to see how the weather plays out. It may be a big factor, it may not be much of a factor at all.
wind is my biggest worryNo pass first offense can play at a high level with 30mph wind gusts, it’s just not possible no matter how strong your QB’s arm is
-
Weather.com right now has 70% chance of snow at kickoff with 15mph winds and gusts up to 30mph
Really not looking good for us. I pray we have 3 RB’s active and ready to roll in case we need a plan B
-
Means Pederson is still available in case we need a OC to replace Daboll

I don't understand why Simms keeps saying the Ravens are "the hottest team in football" after just one game against the Titans where they only scored 20 points...
The Texans and Packers put up 38 and 40 points respectively on the Titans the previous 2 weeks....
No one was calling the Ravens the hottest team the previous week.
It's strange that this narrative popped up after that so-so Titans game.
why does it matter? lol
the season is over. winning streaks and records don't matter in the playoffs. its win or go home.

2018
118.5 combined yards per game, 11 total TDs.
2019
288.9 combined yards per game, 43 total TDs
2020
250.4 combined yards per game, 33 total TDs
So 2019 he was an elite QB in terms of production, and 2020 he's a solidly good QB in terms of production. But yards are yards and he's not heads and shoulders above Mahomes, Rodgers, Allen, Herbert or any other high upside thrower.
he wins games. end of discussion
