  1. 3.1 yards per carry
  2. Gibbs not looking special
  3. Jacobs is so patient. fun to watch.
  4. this crapfest of a game is my fault. I bet the over. Sorry about that.
  5. Turnovers are not nearly as big of a deal as fans make them out to be. A punt is a turnover with a modest change in field position. Every time Mahomes has the ball or Allen has the ball, whether they start on their own 10, their own 25, or the 50, they are likely to drive down the field for points. The fear of turnovers emanates from the era of "field position football". Which has actually been over for sometime. Its an alternating possession game. You either score points, or you don't, and then the other guy gets a turn. The reason why you don't score points (punt, turnover, clock running out) is really far less important than the fact, you didn't score points on a drive.
  6. Bills got Williams the exact same amount as 30 other teams. There really isn't anything like "close". Just won the auction, lost the auction.
  7. Personally I don't dorsey is an issue at all. The bills have had two games lost on the last play of the game by special teams and defense. (Jags game is not on anyone). The Bills are lucky the defense did not lose the Giants game, and the Bucs game as well. Even though Dorsey isn't the problem, I will not be unhappy if he kills the shotgun draw, and lining up in shotgun at the 8 inch line.
  8. Thank you for providing that information. Obviously the position is weak, and I am not making a case for Elam. But if no one else lined up against Ridley, and that was Elams only meaningful playing time, do fans really have any visible evidence that others on the Bills would have been better against Ridley?
  9. Interesting Note, the Bills have played the top 3 tackling teams, and 4 of the top 8. This may further skew my view of the Bills tackling. What is this "pitch" you speak of. Is that like a football field that they play soccer on?
  10. It seems like tackling is a lost art in the NFL overall. But Bill's fans perspective's may be skewed because we may be particularly bad at tackling. I am perfectly willing to blame injuries as the primary reason for the bad tackling, but it does not really change the fact that the tackling is bad. Top tackling teams. Feel free to hate PFF. I just don't anywhere else to source tackling data of any type.
  11. Real questions, did someone else on the Bills handle Ridley better. Have other teams handled Ridley better? I agree Elam was abused by Ridley, I just don’t actually know how well Ridley is playing
  12. This is correct. But I am concerned the NFL has a huge investment in the Chiefs winning, to avoid the narrative that the home field advantage assignments overseas are impacting playoff seedings.
  13. The NFL could have done its two weeks in London experiment in a much more fair way. They could have two division rivals go to London and play back to back games, so that each of the teams lost a home and an away game. And simply evaluated the quality of play for the second week vs the first week (errors, GPS measured speed of players, etc.) to see what the impact of spending more time in the distant London time zone was. By controlling have the same teams in both games, they remove a considerable number of variables, allowing them to measure the impact of the time zone difference potentially more accurately.
  14. Option 1, should note a kickoff is required, which introduces a small amount of randomness Option 2, should note slightly better field position for the Jets. Option 5, field goal is blocked giving jets a far better field position The 7 yards the Jets gained from a missed FG, was sort of meaningful at the end. The statistics may very well say Daboll made the right choice. And as we saw, with the giants QB situation, a tie was likely the same as a loss in regulation. So I can’t fault the decision. but in real time I was screaming at the radio to go for it, because I felt like there were more things that could go wrong with the field goal try
  15. I honestly think the Bears thought he would be a cornerstone of an excellent defense. His contract plus his level of play is killing careers among the Bears front office and coaching staff.
  16. the fear of edmunds cause the Hebert to bounce that ball of his teammates head
