Not a lot of upgrades to Barkley in the UFA market

Honestly I think Winston is definitely an upgrade over Barkley But you’re right the free agency quarterback market is pretty thin right now I’d say for ***** and giggles if Miami released Fitz I’d say bring him back lol

  2. Do you think Beane and McDermott look for a capable back up in feee agency, I don’t think we’re gonna draft anyone. I ask cause Barkley looked horrible in that last game against the Jets. Allen is our QB no question but I wonder if they bring a veteran in to back up Josh and possibly compete against Barkley

  3. Scumbag organization scumbag coach Scumbag players and Scumbag QB. I hope they get obliterated in the playoffs, someone on here said 51-3, that’s not enough I want to see 70-3 or possibly 70-0 with Brady getting his ACL torn and Stephon Gilmore getting a season ending injury as well and Edelman of course. Maybe some player should purposely run into Belichick while their at it I know I would if I was on the field. Let him know what a cheating B word he is

very hard to say at this point.

Trubisky led his team to 12 wins, division title, and a missed FG away from a playoff win, this year they are burning his jersey in chicago. Bortles had very similar career stats to Allen,  led his team to the AFC championship game and almost won it, now he is a career backup.

Allen is a gunslinger that doesn't put up gunslinger numbers. he has yet to reach 300 yards passing, constantly has poor completion %, struggles to hit deep balls. One thing is for sure though and that is I want to see him under a different OC very soon. Allen doesn't fit Dabolls offense and he refuses to scheme around his QB. Bring in someone like Jay Gruden. he turned Dalton into a top 10 QB.

Omg again with the 300 yards passing bull####

Yes Plunkett doesnt deserve the hall Of Fame and NO he was NOT mediocre to average. He was stellar for the Raiders SB seasons. He was extremely strong/tough in the pocket and very clutch....Joe Ferguson-type hand off man??? You think Joe Ferguson was a 'hand off man'???-Ferguson had a very good arm and was extremely accurate.

Ferguson was a hand off man to OJ for many years and it wasn’t until Knox came in that we started to see him passing more. While Lou Saban relied more on OJ and the running game. And yes Plunkett was a hand off man to Marcus Allen.

It was actually in 1980-81, when the Raiders upset the Philadelphia Eagles. I remember that year fondly, as the Bills won the division at 11-5. The fans tore down the goal posts on opening day when we beat Miami for the first time  in a decade. I agree about Plunkett.

That’s right that’s when Knox was our coach. I wish we would’ve made the Super Bowl that year. If I remember correctly Ferguson was on a roll that year and Cribbs was playing out of his mind both Running and catching the ball. Defense was pretty good as well, too bad Ralph got cheap with Knox and drove him away, probably would’ve been super bowl contenders had he stayed

I don't care at all about "political correctness" I don't think Flores by winning 1 SB has done enough to deserve a gold jacket (correct me if i'm wrong) but on the other hand Plunket given how he went from first round pick to the bench & then to a 2 time SB winning QB deserves to be in the HOF !

Actually to correct you Flores won 2 Super Bowls the first one I believe was back in 79 and then he won in 83. Plunkett doesn’t deserve the HOF because he was mediocre to average at best. He was pretty much a joe Ferguson type of handoff man to Marcus Allen and that year in 83 it was all Allen and the defense.

I honestly cant speak on it much as I never saw either of them play, just able to look at stats.  However, Plunkett has a higher career completion percentage, and Joe only had one season where he threw for more touchdowns than ints.

Plunkett Never had the swag that Namath had. Plus unlike Plunkett, Namath never got benched multiple times especially after winning the Super Bowl. Plunkett just got lucky at landing on the right team at the right time. If Pastorini had never gotten hurt no one would know or remember who Jim Plunkett was

Dont disagree, but the HoF is a weird place.   Joe Namath was probably just as bad, if not worse.

Namath had leadership skills and toughness. And he helped change the game by being the first QB in NFL history to throw for 4,000 yards, something that was unheard of back in those days especially when it was all about running the ball and playing defense, that’s why Joe made the HOF. Plunkett was never really a leader by any means and wasn’t at all accurate when he threw the football

...Flores and Plunkett ?...should they be in?......both we're accomplished, but I've often wondered in this day and age of "political correctness" why Tom (Hispanic) or Jim (Native American) have not been brought up more frequently......

LOL plunkett? He was one of the worst QBs to ever win a Super Bowl, he had the good fortune of playing on a really talented Raiders team. Plunkett is in no way shape or form a Hall of Famer, technically Plunkett was a draft bust before landing on the raiders and the only reason anyone remembers plunkett is because he took over an injured Dan Pasterini.

This thread is going to look really humiliating for some people in a few weeks after our first playoff game.

If you really think Josh Allen is going to rise to the occasion & start playing at a level he's not once shown he's capable of against good teams, your optimism has moved onto straight blindness.

Just like in college, just like last year, he's showing when up against good teams he plays miserably. Even against bad teams he only plays "just good enough." There have been 2 games this year where he looked in control from start to finish, the 2nd Dolphins game (and which analyst is going to take that a serious sign of his skill?) and against Dallas when there was still an illusion they might be good.

Every other time we're only in games because of a dominant defense. "Franchise" guys are supposed to do a LOT more. I mean he's nowhere near the QB's we passed over for him (Mahomes, Watson, Jackson), and at this rate it'd take years for him to approach that level.

And they're right about how Baltimore played him. Just send the team rushing, leave people wide open and he'll still miss. He can't make reads fast enough, he holds onto the ball longer than anyone in the league, fumbles a lot, takes bad sacks often, and is more consistent on missing wide open targets than anyone I've seen.

All that said, he CAN grow into something better, but how long will that take? He plays almost identical to the way he did last season. And just like last season, his best stretch of play was when we closed out 2018 with the weakest remaining schedule in the NFL, and coincidentally, Josh looked better! Shocking!

Well I can see your a Josh Allen hater
