Let's not exaggerate, they did blitz, one of the replay's during the game even keyed in on a bills blitz by Milano maybe that was picked up by the center. They just did not have to solely rely on the blitz to generate pressure.

On that play two d linemen dropped into coverage. Wasn’t a blitz

Will be very interesting to see who dresses week 1. Neither Lawson or Epenesa play STs. One of them probably doesn't dress. Based on preseason Lawson should play but reports from camp said Epenesa was ahead of him.

Old reputations are hard to kill. Epenesa played 144 special teams snaps last year and 70+ the year before when he was scratched for a handful of games. Epenesa will be in heavy rotation tomorrow night.

Anytime you pick a RB in the 2nd round… when you already have plenty in the stable is a bad pick IMO… that position is so easily duplicated high picks on it are typically a waste IMO….

High draft pick. I’d be all for Dobbins in the 2nd assuming he lasts and they address WR correctly via FA/1st round.

The offense is just void of playmakers. They need as many as they can get. Howard isn’t one.

He hasn’t played. Didn’t he bust a kickoff or 2 last preseason? He took 9% of his college kickoff returns back for TDs. Again, if you’re debating the end of the roster you should always give the edge to “talent” or “a special skill.” He COULD offer something if it came together and he was healthy. I don’t see what Sweeney COULD offer in the best case scenario that you couldn’t find on the street?

To be clear, I’m not saying that Stevenson should have made the team. I can pretty easily see the justification from them for it though.

Punt return for a td last preseason and a long reception from Fromm to set up a win late. Averaged more on punt returns last year than McKenzie and .7 yards less per kick return. With his speed it seems a bit early to declare him hopeless.

I think there's more to the Bills decision than fear of public backlash.  I think it's going to drag on through the season, and be divisive in the locker room even if social media gets wiped off the planet tomorrow and the media is milquetoast.  Look at how divided we are here.  The locker room probably has a similar diversity of views.

    But that's just me.

I’m sure this will sound mean but it’s not intended to be, it’s just an observation. Based on the number of keystrokes you have thrown at this, it’s a topic you are keenly interested in, if not obsessed with. It’s possible that you are in a minority in that regard. Diversity of views in the locker room doesn’t automatically mean division. Those guys may not like every single guy they share a locker room with but they are damn near brothers. I suspect the coalescing around the goal of a championship far exceeds the impact of this hurdle. A hurdle they will clear far in advance of those on the outside looking in.

No, the Bills got caught with their pants down trying to sneak one under the bench. Now they look like ***** and the morals of the FO, which had been pretty immaculate, are stained. Not to mention from a logistics standpoint they went into camp with two punters and came out with none.

Do you, throwing this out to the rest of the Bills shat the bed folks as well, have any tix to sell for the Titans game? Looking for three cheap ones.

    Don't envy Sean McDermott today.

Getting this team focused and ready to play may be the biggest test of his leadership as the Bills Head Coach. The Peterman disaster is up there, but that was just football; unfortunately for everyone this is a bigger and darker cloud over the team.

    GO BILLS!

I don’t envy him for having to get in front of the microphone. All else is pearl-clutching by fans and media. They are professionals who are pursuing the ultimate goal in their field. I think they will handle the scary dark cloud just fine.

Keep talkin bro - nothing like digging your own grave Xi Q DeSantis

Xi Q DeSantis…did you come up with that on your own? Was it just a flash of comedic genius or did you have to think about it for a while? Kind of reminds me of how Trump makes up names for everyone he dislikes. Very clever and witty. Kudos!

I have no idea why they didn't have Araiza punt at the end of the game.  Having him hold for every FG and EP in pre-season says he's got the starting job and seeing if he could pin a team inside the 20 would have been smart.

What if he didn’t hold them inside the 20? What then??

@Over 29 years of fanhood - one of our resident independent cult members was praising DeSantis for his “pragmatic and logical approaches” to Floridas vaccination approach as being the best in the country.

And my only response is - if it is so great - why isn’t Florida vaccination rate in the top 3? Top 5? Top 10? Maybe top 15? Top 20?

    Nope

Your measure of success is total vaccinated? Why? Because it stops the spread of COVID? We need some blue states, like NY maybe, to lead the way on vaccines 5,6,7. Those are sure to work.

True story, I've flown 6 or 7 times during the pandemic. Early this week was the first time I didn't wear a mask on the plane... I've been in bed for the last three days with a 102 fever (and tested positive for the first time.)

Good thing I wasn't Virtue signaling, am I right?

EVERYONE is going to get it and probably get it multiple times. You should make like the politicians and issue a statement about how thankful you are to have been vaxxed and double-boosted.

(I’m assuming for the sake of pointing out the idiocy of it all).

  12. Anyone that hasn’t tried Elmo’s double dipped needs to make it happen. I am a fan of Bar Bill and Duffs depending on what I’m in the mood for and recently went to Elmo’s for the first time. They have made it into the regular rotation.
