Now I’m confused,  Who said this in the Cover1 slack channel?

And did you mean “later than the playoffs” or “later in the playoffs”?

If Milano had 8 weeks of non-weight bearing, starting say 48 hrs after the injury (10-10) - it may have been a bit later, sometimes they wait for inflammation to subside before doing surgery - 8 weeks would be early December, like Dec 5th.

He was crutchless doing a slight jump on the sidelines during the Cowboys game. That was Dec 18th. I agree on the confusion thing. Did he say one way or another he has no chance of coming back this year?

I’m getting excited about next year.  Lucked into some depth on D now when these injuries are behind us.  And I think if we focus on WR in the draft, that’s the current missing piece.  Maybe even trade #88 for a WR of similar caliber - would be a win win trade, we are a bit redundant at TE.

They can do major damage this year, but there has to be a light bulb moment on offense here asap. Figure it out guys. Agreed on next year and the rest of your post, but not sure Knox is tradeable with that contract. Was not a wise one as of now.

Been somewhat fortunate to this point with Allen’s availability (year to year). Odds are that luck will run out at some point.

Luck/fortune doesn't have anything to do with his availability. Only reason he isn't missing time is he's a tough SOB. The injuries have been bad now all the way back to that Texans game years ago.

To the people complaining about the Peacock thing, all I can say is...

It's 2023. If you want to watch the game, it's incredibly easy to do so. For one thing, free trials exist, and it's only $5.99 for one month of it anyway. You're telling me that watching a Bills game or an NFL playoff game isn't worth the cost of one beer to you?

But even if you have exhausted your free trial or DON'T want to pay to watch, it is still incredibly easy to watch any NFL game you want. The internet is undefeated.

I believe Peacock doesn't offer a free trial unless you're a Comcast customer or something. It's not the money, it's the PITA of setting up an account, and then cancelling it. And for older, less tech savvy folks, it's an even bigger inconvenience.

I loved Peacock’s no advertisement portion of the 4th Quarter.

NFL should do their own broadcasts and have more game focused material when there’s a break in play. Commercials are getting out of hand in frequency and length.

If I’m paying you a decent amount of $ to be able to watch the game why not offer more insight to the viewer?

The commercials are out of hand bc the networks pay bazillions of dollars to air this bc they get the ad revenue. Sure there will be one offs like the Peacock games, but 99% of the games will be as is. Maybe in a few years there will be an option to pay even more to listen to Collinsworth flap his gums between timeouts, but im good as is. Just be happy we don't have a PPV Super Bowl... Yet.

  6. Schopp brought up an interesting point yesterday on post-game. He said that this is exactly what McDermott wants. A run heavy offense that can control the clock and keep the d fresh. If this is the ultimate goal, i hate it. We had it really good with Dabol and I didn't appreciate that at the time like I should have.

  7. Yes sir, while we played the only Peacock exclusive game against the Chargers a few weeks ago, all SNF games are simulcast on Peacock. I also believe there will be a Peacock exclusive playoff game during the Wild Card round. Hope that helps.

They never disclosed it. Must be real bad, maybe both ligaments and a clean break.

Yet he's jumping on the sidelines without crutches 2 months later? Doubtful. No one knows if there even is ligament damage.

It's a Right Tibial Plateau Fracture. And from the video, a pretty gnarly one at that. It takes 4 months to get back to walking and moving normally, let alone playing NFL football at a high level. He sustained the injury 10/8.

Whoops - thanks for the correction.

looked pretty solid jumping here 3 weeks ago. Game shape and contact im sure a different animal though.

  10. Greg Cossell did his weekly OBL thing this week as he does and he brought up how Josh has really looked uncomfortable in the pocket this year and leaves it very prematurely on a regular basis. In doing this, its not giving the WR's proper time to seperate and everyone has to go off script. He's right. This game wasn't the best example because the oline play wasn't great, but bigger picture this is a problem.

    yea chubb is obviously out.

so they will be missing phillips and chubb.  I imagine everyone else plays including, tua, howard, mostert and waddle.

knox sure looked like he got a concussion.

Just thought about this... I think Knox came back Cowboys week, right? Other than that game, which was all running anyways, the passing game has been crap. Is he part of the problem? Seemed like the passing game was doin solid til he came back. Is he taking a lot of snaps away from Dawson?

I have this bad feeling the bills special teams is due another big miscue. They’ve been bad this year and the PATS is the kind of team that’d take full advantage.

Keep the ship buttoned up and we should win.

I was just thinking, the only way the Bills lose this one is if there's some kind of meltdown on the Bills part. On paper, this should be a gimme. But not played on paper of course. But I'm feeling confident.

I'm going into this game a lot more worried than I was last week.  Not that I thought we would blow the Chargers out, but I figured it would be a two score win in the end.....maybe 10 or so.  This week, I don't have nearly that same confidence level.  Bracing for another potential disaster.  Guess we'll see.

Mac Jones went 25 for 30 for 300 and 2tds 0 ints... literally the game of his career. We pissed down our leg the whole game and still should have won. I dont see Zappe repeating that performance, nor do I see the Bills repeating that horrendous performance at home. Easy win.
