Agree, Logic. And Rudolph has been one of the best QBs in the league over the past three weeks. We have to protect the ball and get the running game going or this could easily turn into an ugly Sunday.
Let's put that Rudolph statement in context though... All he's really done is manage the games and not turn the ball over. And mostly against subpar d's and backups (Ravens). 3 passing tds in that span btw. He has had some nice throws though. This game is imperative that the Bills don't turn the ball over. That is how it becomes a nail biter.

I'm confused as to what it is that the Steelers do that we're so worried about?
They've been running the ball well. That's about it and Mason Goofball hasn't been turning it over like the other guys. Our run d is pretty stout these days though.

I'm with you on Cleveland, though a lot of folks on here will disagree.
I'm pushing for KC to beat Miami on Saturday, not just because I want a piece of KC at home in Buffalo, but also because that means Cleveland (assuming they win) will face Baltimore.
I agree with you. I think they are pretenders. But maybe it's my bias bc they have been literally perennial losers my whole life. I'll start believing if they beat the Texans.

I thought Collinsworth was pretty good last night.
He was complimentary of Josh and careful with his criticisms.
He's usually unbearable but I could tolerate him in this game.
Agreed, he even disregarded the second pick as a punt saving them yardage. Did you catch the beach running thing they were talking about? Pretty sure they were insinuating Bills fans were yelling things at him during his run. Hilarious.

It hasn't been pretty, but McD said it best himself, "resiliency." These guys ride and die together. So proud of them this am.

How, as a fan of a team, do you let the other teams travelers come into your house and buy the majority of tickets (52%?) in the most meaningful divisional game to end the season in years???🤯
I hope we're not saying that this week lol. Highly, highly doubt that though. 10% Steelers fans is too much imo.

Not really because if there is a sharp temperature change there are almost always relatively stronger winds.
That makes sense. And temps a lot easier to forecast so it goes hand in hand. Thanks!

Whatever, just get the first down. And do it while you can this year because shnow plows, tush pushes, etc most likely all to be banned next year. All the owners of the NFC East on the rules committee except Philly.

I'm no meteorologist, but isn't it a bit early to be forecasting winds??

Who makes up these ridiculous “odds to make the playoffs” percentages?
5 weeks ago the Jags “percent” was 96? Based on what? And they didn’t make it?
It’s a bunch of water cooler B.S..There are two percentages…. 100 you’re in, 0 you’re out.
Ny Times is the main culprit I think. Agreed, bullspit.

Don’t let them Steeler fans buy up our tickets
My dad was worried about this also. But I think we're good. Most of the Steelers fans I know here in Erie think they stink and are in a spiral of mediocrity. And I remember a few years ago the season opener was like only 10% Piglett fans. As opposed to near 50/50 during the Stevie Johnson drop game in what... 2013? I think the fans have locked that up a bit. That's all depending on if we win though tonight of course.

Yup, nothin changes for me. It's 2 seed or bust. This is their chance to get right on offense and go into the playoffs on a super high note. Lose and meh that's gonna be tough to even get out of the first round.

How the heck do you think you are keeping that a secret exactly? Ever heard of a smart phone or a fan behind the bench? It’s fine they know.
Even if it was the 80's they'd know with 4 hours in between.. coach would have to kidnap them and take away all devices. It is an interesting question though and who knows the right answer.

The amount of anxiety that would leave my mind if the titans got up like 21-0….hey how about we all get a break for once. God knows We deserve it
It's kind of funny... As of now I'm good with whatever happens tonight. Only because, in the end the Bills control their own destiny. If they lose, after all the eff ups they've had this year then it's fair that they miss the show. Would suck, but I can accept that as long as there's no 13 second type play or the refs absolutely massacre us. If we win, it's going to glorious and a redemption moment that may provide the spark to go all the way. We know they have the potential, but the light bulb still needs to come on. Go in as a 7 seed from a Jags loss, ehhh I guess anything can happen, but 1 and done wouldn't surprise me.
-
To be fair, the article did say they were most likely just testing it. Bad juju though for sure. I'll take it.

I have to say I don't want the Bills playing the colts if they win. Feels like a really bad matchup.
Man, I see that as the best matchup round 1.

But are they not getting open because Allen abandons the pocket too quickly? That's what I see a lot of lately. Or is Allen abandoning the pocket bc they are not getting open. A chicken egg thing goin on here. Prolly a mixture of the two.

Call me crazy, but I can't help but shake the feeling that the Bills are more likely to reach the Super Bowl as a 7 seed than a 2 seed. (6 seed and they'll be one-and-done - winning twice in KC isn't realistic IMO).
As a 7 seed...
- Bills would face Miami in the Wild Card round. I can't see the Dolphins beating them twice two weeks in a row, especially as banged up as they are.
- They would then travel to Baltimore to face the Ravens in the Divisional Round. Lamar Jackson and some other key starters won't have played for three weeks. That hot streak they've been on? Probably dissipated. They'll be rusty. Not to mention no one will expect the Bills to win that game. That's the type of game they're most likely to win.
- In the AFC Championship we may have to travel to KC. But considering how off the Chiefs seem to be this season, I wouldn't bet against the Texans or Browns being the opponent. I'm not scared of those teams, especially as a Bills team riding high feeling like they have nothing to lose. All the pressure will be on the Texans/Browns hosting an AFC Championship game they never expected to host.
As a 2 seed...
-
Bills would most likely host the Texans in the wild card round. After an emotional win in Miami, coming back home and facing a up-and-coming Texans team? Ripe for an upset.
- (Yes, they could face the Steelers or Jaguars - neither of which are that scary on paper but they're good defensive teams who've played well lately and the "ripe for an upset" statement still applies)
- Even if they can get past the Wild Card round, they host what will likely be the Chiefs in the Divisional Round (I can't see the Dolphins beating Chiefs in KC). Beating Mahomes/Reid twice in one season? That is a tough ask, even at home.
- Then if they get to the AFC Championship, they more than likely have to face the Ravens in Baltimore (unless the Ravens are upset). The rust will have been shaken off by then and the Ravens will be fired up and riding high. I don't see this Bills team capable of winning that one.
We'll see what happens, but I've been thinking of this all week. All to say if the Bills are locked into the 7 seed with a loss going into the game Sunday night, I won't be feeling any nervousness at all at kickoff.
Good reasoning, but why worry about it? Whatever happens is going to happen. NFL is wild this year and there's no guarantee we play the Texans as the 2 seed. And they have cooled off considerably here lately. A rook qb in Buffalo in his first playoff game? I'll take that too. Whatever happens before the Bills play, I just want to beat the Dolphins Sunday night and then carry the momentum from there. If the light bulb comes on for the Bills offense they can beat anyone. And it's going to take that bulb to come on to go all the way. They know what is on the line. Gonna be a fun ride hopefully.

Living in Erie I just wanna stomp these guys. All these Piglet fans here are saying they got these best possible matchup they could ask for. Very annoying people.
