  1. I gave you the facts , and while he was wrong it should not be forgotten he was hit in eye and that it did do him harm. Everything I have said is factual supported by news articles , my participation in thread is only that its wrong to forget Foreman was hit.

Almost seemed like they may as well have called the post game show on wgr due to severe public intoxication, it seems every caller who wished to speak with Mike Schopp and the Bulldog was so far ripped they could hardly speak. Call after caller was being dumped. The alcohol must have been flowing today...... some are going to have fuzzy heads tomorrow......
  3. A snow ball did strike Chuck Foreman , who did suffer blurred vision , yes he was able to continue on with his career but if I remember correctly his eye never right again, that is how it was....... but the fan could not have seen it in 1979 this unfortunate event was in 1975......

  11. a big factor is thecompostion of the bowling ball, new materials make it possible to get tighter rotation. Also I think they do not oil the lanes as much as they used to , so they can get higher scores. When the lanes are oiled properly , as they are used the oil shifts changing the pocket, if there is less oil on the lanes the pocket stays constant and is easier for players to achieve higher scores..... to market the game they want higher scores....
  12. Some folks make some very excellent money bowling , if it is that easy for you , you owe to yourself it to enter a few tournaments and see where you stand against othes who do well. Maybe you are the next Mark Roth or Earl Anthony.

  14. interesting talks between Yankees and Florida , article in Florida Sun Sentinal When GM Larry Beinfest on Friday said the Marlins were exploring options for its open rotation spot, no one figured the names would include Javier Vazquez and Tim Hudson. Part of Saturday's Winter Meetings chatter included talk of the Marlins moving A.J. Burnett for the Yankees' Vazquez and cash. A major league source confirmed that discussion had taken place. The Marlins would likely need no less than $10 million to make the deal work. Vazquez, who pitched for the Marlins ownership in Montreal, is owed $34.5 million over the next three years. Burnett is eligible for arbitration and will command about $3.5 million next season before qualifying for free agency in 2006. The Yankees may be trying to acquire Burnett to flip him to the Diamondbacks as part of a deal for Randy Johnson. Burnett's name was on a list of desirable pitchers Arizona submitted to New York. 23. Scientists have linked portable computers and male infertility BUSINESSMEN and teenage boys could be risking their fertility by using laptop computers, research suggests. The combination of heat generated by the computers and the posture needed to balance the equipment on the lap leads to raised temperatures around the scrotum, a study has found. Past research shows that higher scrotal temperatures can damage sperm and affect fertility. And the introduction of new technology such as Bluetooth and infrared connections — which provide wireless links to the internet — has resulted in a growing number of men using the machines on their thighs rather than at a desk. To keep the testicles at an ideal temperature — and for greater comfort — men naturally sit with their legs further apart than women. When working on a laptop, however, they will adopt a less natural position in order to balance it on their laps, which results in a significant rise in body heat between their thighs. Feeling Warm
