    Well that’s pretty low class..

I suspect he just wants to see the Bills win, and it’s a context thing, but like it or not it true, no excuses, next man up, injures are not an excuse in football, you either win or you lose, it’s the only stat line that means anything. That said, I have zero animosity toward the guy and do hope he heals up and continues to play well, except when we play them.

So, nobody is reporting that the Raiders have feelers out or that any other teams have heard anything? Just that some guy thinks that it could happen and that they could get something for him, though not much?

    Well, OK, I guess

"... But if they do decide to make a move, one potential player that could garner interest around the league is wide receiver Zay Jones. With rookies Henry Ruggs III and Bryan Edwards, healing with early-season injuries, Jones has performed adequately in their absence. But with Nelson Agholor and Hunter Renfrow also playing well, Jones’ playing time is likely to shrink after the bye week.

That is why Gary Davenport of Bleacher Report suggested Jones as a possible trade target before the deadline. Given his size, speed and experience, there is likely a market for him at a relatively low price. Teams such as the Eagles, Jets and the Packers would all make sense for the former second-round pick.

Here is a snippet of Davenport’s thoughts on Jones and why he could be traded over the next few weeks:

“Zay Jones’ next game with the Raiders will be his 16th. Over that “season,” the fourth-year pro’s production has been less than stellar: 29 receptions on 39 targets for 228 yards and one score.

But Jones has shown some ability to help an NFL team. Back in his second season in Buffalo, he was targeted over 100 times, hauling in 56 passes for 652 yards and seven touchdowns. There’s some appeal there for teams looking for additional depth in the wide receiver room.”

Beasley is less a quality three than a quality slot.

IMO Jones would be our fifth-best guy without listing return qualifications or jet sweeps. If you include returns, Roberts would be close. Throw in jet sweeps and maybe McKenzie would be close too.

Zay wasn't awful. But he certainly underperformed his draft status. I really had hopes for him but he just doesn't seem like he'll ever be much more than he is now. You hope I guy will be good by his fourth year. Zay instead appears serviceable.

Zay was awful, he was scared to death to get hit when he was in traffic, as well as being a drop prone. And none of the above has anything to do with his draft position. He just plays scared.

Thanks for posting. As much as it shows Bills OL has work to do it shows how good Tenn D is. And also how poorly the Bills DL is playing compared to a well coached team.

Ethan, your so dramatic, you jump on board every thread that presents any aspect that the Bills are not totally dominant in game to game. Do you now consider Sean McDermott to be a bad coach when you were tooting his horn not so long ago along with these other doomsday profits? Is our personnel now lacking  talent that everyone was touting not so long ago?

Sure the loss sucks, but Its one loss, one,  in a long season, get yourself together man, nuthin but luv dude, but really? And that goes for the rest of the scared fans.

    Yeah let’s blame the coaches.

One could say they are the ones not getting their message across, it’s their job to scheme with the talent they have, otherwise it says our players are not smart or good enough to understand and implement the scheme the coaches are invested in. What scenario do you choose to believe?  I suspect it’s actually a bit of both, compounded by injuries to our lynchpin players on that side of the ball. Perfect storm so to speak, just my opinion...

    Go Bills!!!

  6. You all just have to know this was coming, a small  organization that was using the name of a multi billion dollar valued corporate entity surely realized this was inevitable, don’t ya think ?? I suspect this will pass an just become part of the Buffalo Bills and never to be thought of as unusual a half of a year out from now.

Ya just can’t start calling your group something like the Microsoft Mafia and not think you wouldn’t get a knock on the door one day from Microsoft’s people, it’s really that straight forward. That, and the politicians “we” (the greater we) all voted for wrote the legislation that makes this S O P, a long time ago. 🤔

I actually think Darnold could be a good NFL QB, but obviously he needs a new situation..  Option A for the Jets is to trade Darnold, draft Lawrence, rinse and repeat.  With no talent around Lawrence, just like around Darnold -- what was that definition of insanity again??

Option B is to trade the first overall pick to a team that needs a new QB and has a boatload of draft picks or good players to give in exchange, then rebuild the core of the team.

It doesn’t matter who the jets draft if they first don’t fix their FO /HC and owner problems, they can draft QBs till the cows come home, it will make no difference unless they fix the above stated. Look at their history.

You mean the group that says he's gotten much much better? Yeah, what do they know?

Ya, mean those guys who didn’t pick up on him improving until basically this season, and denigrated his performance at any opportunity for the last two years and into this year? The guys with no foresight to speak of?  You mean those guys...

Holy hell, look at this comparison of Allen’s first 16 games vs. his last 16 (he has now played 32 as a pro):

    1-16: 55%, 13 passing TDs, 18 INTs

    17-32: 62%, 29 passing TDs, 4 INTs

    Stunning.

And this is why everyone should be lol at pff... even more reason to ignore those frat boys who so desperately try to sound like adults 😂

  10. Last time I lived in town was for five years, moved to Ct in  2005 for the third time, aced the quiz, never heard of the tidbits thing, but I do fall into the old guy category 😁
