My Monday 10 thoughts:
1. KC put on a display last night. They showed Buffalo that they have an endless bag of trick plays they can call.
2. Weather forecast looks perfect.
3. Personally hate the 6:30 Sunday time slot, but a blind man could see it coming with the late KC game and magnitude of the game this weekend coming.
4. Dallas had one of the most head scratching plays I have ever witnessed. McCarthy deserves to be fired after that.
5. Titans-Bengals looks like a very interesting matchup as well. Burrows played a great game for a first time play off appearance
6. If Pittsburgh had anything, IF BEN HAD ANYTHING, KC would not have played the way they did. That was embarrassing for Ben to go out that way. He looked like an empty husk of a Hall of Fame player.
7. Here is where we find out just what kind of player Dane Jackson is.
8. I can hear the narrative all week. Josh had the game of his career. He isn't likely to repeat it. Patty had his usual. Nothing out of his norm there. Cue Nicky Wright and Kevin Wildes.
9. Great FMIA read this week on Buffalo. Loved Jordan Palmer's tweet to Josh before he played the game against NE. "So proud to know that you’ve risen to the level of being a Pro Bowl alternate!"
10. Glad the nor'easter missed the game by one day!!! Happy shovel out day Buffalo..
Watching Ben reminded me a lot of watching Manning in his last year. His arm was just gone. He was straining to throw the ball 10 yards, anything more and it was a duck.

Not gonna enjoy waiting for the game, gonna be hard watching the other teams when KC is on the mind.

I'm convinced this thread was started by a Pats plant. It had to have been.

We are indeed seeing Tampa vs Philly all over again. Only took 27 minutes.

Feel like we're going to see Tampa vs Philly all over again. Although I'm hoping for a Steelers defensive miracle to keep them in it so we get homefield next week.

What a clown show train wreck that was

But his hustle and awareness are to be reckoned with
We should ask opposing OCs if they need account for him. stats be damned.Bills are a pressure and take away team by design.
frustrates the bejeezus out of QBs for sure.
I do think Hughes still has the burst off the ball.
But I am a homer for Hughes
Go Jerry !
If he wants to come back for a vet minimum go for it, otherwise it’s time to move on. He’s had a hell of a stint with us but at 34 it’s time we develop more of the young guys.

Still can’t believe this was ever a discussion. As if great HCs are easy to find.
You’d think after the trio of Jauron, Gailey and Doug Moron that people would appreciate a coach that isn’t a total doorknob.

I think Kyle Shannan wants to lose this game. Still trying to throw the ball.
He learned from the best

This game is a total coaching mismatch. There is no reason the Cowboys and all their talent should get shut down like this... But that's a Mike McCarthy special.
Almost criminal how he only won one Super Bowl with Rodgers.

This feels like the only real playoff game of the day
Really disappointing so far, especially how much they've tried to hype us this weekend. Usually the wild card round is great but so far it's been two duds and one good albeit really sloppy game.
Looking forward to the divisional round.

Eagles should be relegated to the CFL.
We don't want them, believe me lol.

Running QBs are overrated. If you can’t throw the football you won’t win in the playoffs. It’s that simple. There’s a reason these guys faceplant in the playoffs. Mike Vick was the first of them and it’s been happening ever since. You need to pair mobility with the passing. Not the other way around.

I think this is so stupid and a horrible reflection on Bills fans. It’s not funny at all unless you have the mindset of a 13 year old boy.
You probably want a dome stadium

Bradshaw with the drone....my God I hate FOX.
Fox is awful. Yet they somehow make ESPN look competent.

Blaine Gabbert fascinates me. 11 year NFL career despite never being anything other than awful. I mean, EJ Manuel objectively is a better QB and he was done after 5 years.
I wonder if a guy like EJ was just over the NFL, and didn’t want to stick around anymore.
Gabbert could also in theory be good in meetings, scout team, etc which is critical for backups QBs. That’s most likely why he’s stuck around so long because he’s not around for his play.

As much as I don't want Tampa to win, I'd legit be shocked if the eagles even keep this game close. Eagles are not very good.
They're the prototypical average football team. They beat one team over .500 this year, the 9-8 Saints. This game isn't going to be close.

Vegas had an absurd amount of penalties, and it came down the last play. Bengals couldn't convert in the red zone and Josh Jacobs ran all over them. Kansas City is way more dangerous and no one wants to go into Arrowhead in the playoffs.

If there's one upset this weekend let it be this game!
I'm not expecting much from the Eagles but you just never know.
Rather Pittsburgh beats KC, then we get another home game.

This is awesome.
This revenge game meant so much to many of the former Bills coaches and players who have had to endure the Pats for decades.
Rex knows that feeling, probably even better. Beat them in their place with Mark Sanchez as his QB in the playoffs as 10 point dogs.

When asked about the Inadvertent whistle
both Burrow & the coat looked like the cat that ate the canary?
Hubris Versus Humble and Hungry
For a team that hasn’t done anything, yeah. They won the division by default after Jackson went down. Tennessee will bring them back to earth. Vrabel is a stud coach and those guys are a well oiled machine.

Chiefsplanet is…..an interesting place to say the least. Quite the cast of characters they have assembled over there. It’s like the Island of Misfit Toys.
