Exactly. Didn’t we knock Miami out of the playoffs a few years ago with Matt Barkley starting? It’s entirely possible. It’s definitely a notch on your belt as a player/coach to knock a division rival out.

    No…..Josh played the whole 1st half……Barkley played the 2nd.

every non CFP bowl team fielded essentially their usual competitive team.  FSU are quitters.

It was easier for their best players to walk away rather than lose a non CFP bowl game with a backup QB.  That’s their culture from the school leadership to their weak willed HC.

feel bad for the guys who stayed on the team and had to absorb that beating.

GSU has no shame. Let them go to the  SEC and be another Ol Miss or Tennessee

Every non playoff team had a ton of opt outs……stop making it seem like FSU was the only team! Ohio St had their starting QB and stud WR opt out, USC and NC had their QB’s opt out that’ll be drafted in the top 10. Players have opting out of bowl games for years now! Even the 2023 Heisman winner opted out of LSU’s bowl game! You guys sound dumb piling on FSU when you non playoff team is doing this.

  3. Bama is the same program that benched their starting quarterback, was in a dog fight with USF and should’ve lost to Auburn! Anybody outside of an SEC/Bama fan would’ve seen this team had way too many warts to be a playoff team. They got in based of beating Georgia who would beat Bama 9 times if they played 10 games!

Who would you have put in over them?  Georgia lost to them in the SEC championship.  Florida state wouldn't have been competitive.

An FSU team without all the opt outs would’ve been more competitive…….Bama’s QB is sooo trash!

These insanely dumb statements need to stop. The dolphins just lost by 40. Baltimore looks good, but we have all seen Lamar in the playoffs. I like how you just casually glance over the 4 turnovers, that’s cool. Get the win that’s all that matters. Everything after that is your own insecurities

I don’t base stuff off past results, I’m basing it off what’s currently going on and what’s currently going on is our passing game has serious issues and the Ravens and Dolphins can put up points while our offense has hit a lull going into the final week of the season.

We are 5-1 over the last 6 games to salvage the season and people are still not happy that we didn't score enough.

Because some of us understand the bigger picture……a game where we forced 4 turnovers, 1 being a pick 6 shouldn’t result in a nail biter type game against one of the worst offenses in the NFL. Some of us want a Super Bowl and this team isn’t playing like one that can deliver one this season!

I can't disagree with this enough.

What the bills have developed over the last 5 weeks is a Toughness u get when u run the ball.  In the past they would have abandoned the run and put it all on allen...sink or swim.  Today because they have learned to stay with the run and keep the attempts up they were able to push the pile on that final drive a few times and get first downs.

This is what has been missing with this team.  To me they have developed a mental toughness.  When u stay with the run and say we are going to keep doing it knowing u may be sacrificing shots at bigger plays in the passing games it just creates a mental toughness and shortens the game.

I personally have loved this approach.  I am loving the play action deep shots even though they have resulted in int the past two weeks.  I am confident they are going to hit those going forward.

The defense has shown with this current group they will be aggressive and it seems like they have the personnel and the timing down.  That first half defense was terrific.

To me this is winning football.

Nah…..this isn’t sustainable. We forced 4 turnovers against one of the worst offenses in the NFL and only won by 6 points. We play teams like the Ravens and Dolphins who can actually score points and we’re looking up at a loss.
