BBMB was the best message board by a mile. Had a ton of friends over there.
When they abruptly ended that board, I barely ever go there.
What was the reason it was shut down? I remember back in like 2004/2005 there was talk that the GM at the time (Donahoe) would lurk on the message boards…..I wonder how many other Bills personnel guys lurked?

Been around since arguing with folks about Trent Edwards over Losman on bb.com message board! Been around since Sal C. was doing podcast outta his basement on the billszone site. I’m pretty sure a good 25% of this board came around during the 2020 season, most of us have were around since the drought or like me have been Bills fans before/during the super bowl years.

You don't think the general angst surrounding the value expended on acquiring Kincaid, compared to the ROI, is at all warranted?
I'm not at all suggesting he's already a bust, but it IS perfectly rational to see the trade up to draft him as largely unrewarded, to date. Kincaid could step up in year 3 and become a reliable weapon for Allen, but it hasn't happened yet.
Something that doesn't help his cause with fans: he doesn't look like a guy DEVOTED to maximizing his time in the weight room. I've certainly enjoyed ridiculing Travis Kelce's body composition in recent years.
Kid caught over 70 passes his rookie year…..caught 40 his 2nd year while dealing with injuries. Fans are questioning if he’s a bust which is crazy to me……if he has a mediocre 3rd year then I’ll jump on the bandwagon, but write him off now makes no sense to me!

Seems like every season we find a whipping boy around here…..for 2025 it’s Kincaid.

I’m not saying Beane did a bad job. He is operating under cap constraints, and we are always picking at the end of the first round due to our success.
I’m just not understanding the notion that our defense will be much better than last year. Based on our additions I think it will be about the same as last year (which was kind of average league-wide, and below average compared to most of the playoff teams).
If the following happens, our defense will be excellent, but it depends on a lot of bets paying off.
1. Hairston steps into a starting boundary corner spot right away and plays well.
2. Bosa stays healthy all year and is a step up from the corpse of Von Miller.
3. Milano is healthy after a full offseason and is back to his Pro Bowl form.
4. Taron Johnson regains his previous All-Pro level of play.
5. Rousseau, Benford and Bernard don’t regress at all after securing the bag. Some guys just lose their hunger (see: Oliver, Ed).
6. Hoecht provides some nice pass rush, similar to Leonard Floyd when we signed him.
7. Benford doesn’t regress at all after multiple concussions.
8. The Safety position has some pairing stand out and play well. It can’t be Rapp and Hamlin as a pair again. Beane seems to be betting that some combination of Forrest, Bishop, Hancock and Rapp will work. That has yet to be seen.
9. Some combination of Carter, Sanders, Walker and Ogunjobi can outperform Daquan Jones.
Beane has done what he can with limited resources. Basically trying to put guys in positions where they can grow into a role. But it’s a big question mark to me.
The defense will be better next year…..due to additions and change in philosophy!

Nah. We can beat Baltimore week 1. Weeks 3-8 prob not. Week 9-15 we would not. Week 15-18 absolutely not.
1. vs. BAL (SNF) - W
2. @ NYJ - L (the ***** the bed game we always have)
3. vs. MIA (TNF) - W
4. vs. NO - W
5. vs. NE (SNF) - W
6. @ ATL (MNF) - W
7. Bye
8. @ CAR - L (c
9. vs. KC (4:25) - W
10. @ MIA - W
11. vs. TB - W
12. @ HOU (TNF) - L
13. @ PIT (4:25) - W
14. vs. CIN (4:25) - L
15. @ NE - W
16. @ CLE - W
17. vs. PHI (4:25) - W
18. vs. NYJ
We don't get beat by better teams NJJ, Houston, Cincinnati - we just don't match up well to beat them.
Carolina always somehow tends to beat us in Carolina.
We don’t match up to beat the Jets???

Hot take: The judgmental policing of what sauces people dip their chicken wings in is one of the silliest aspects of Buffalo culture.
I mean....we're talking about what variety of gastronomic accoutrement someone likes accompanying the deep fried wing of a tiny bird with. Who gives a single, solitary *****?
Let people like things. Find other things to spend your concern on.
Thanks for coming to my TED Talk.Amongst the black community we have this argument about whether sugar goes in grits or not? I said yes and temporarily had my black card suspended 👀

How so? Some other team drafting Grant doesn't mean we weren't very high on him.
Just means we didn't have the ability to draft him.
Well in that case my source said Travis Hunter was the pick.

His spending is certainly out pacing his income in. He's spending like he's on his second contract.
I think Khalil Shakir drives like a Honda Accord or something like that....or at least he did in his rookie deal. I know he made less than Worthy but I even drive a more expensive car than Shakir did. That's maturity on Shakir.
It's true that his $800k isn't accurate, these are just the purchases made to the public. He knows what else he has that spent money on. If he's buying these cars this early, it would not be out of the question he owns a white tiger and feeds it $2,000 a week on meat to feed it.
Who cares….stop pocket watching another man’s money! What he does with his money is his business!

We traded for Diggs, drafted Davis and signed Beasley, Brown and Sanders over that span. We chose to go the free agency/trade route with that position which worked out for us.

Every kid should wrestle at least two years.
I disagree…..wrestling ain’t for everybody. I live in Orange County NY…..right down the street from Minisink where both Zack Ryder and PJ Duke used to wrestle for and both are now Penn State wrestlers. My nephew wrestles and earned a scholarship to Cortlandt…..he’s told me numerous times how much he hates wrestling,,but it’s helping him pay for college. My son who is currently a sophomore in high school did wrestling his freshman year based on being pressured by the wrestling coach who is also the football coach and he hated it! My son is a football and track kid….also does 7v7 for a travel team in the spring! No kid should be forced to do wrestling…..it ain’t for everyone and most of the kids that actually wrestle hate doing it!

He had some decent production backing up Jonathan Taylor in Indy. Especially when Taylor got injured. I scooped him up fast in my FF league b/c the guy who had Taylor was too dumb to not handcuff Moss. He won me some games. 930 all-purpose yards & 7 TDs. He just signed for 2 yr/8 mil in Cinci. I always respect when a guy can bounce back and carve out a career for himself. Especially at RB where teams tend to just draft a new one when their rookie contract expires. It proves to me that he is a smart player who can do everything asked of him and had the discipline to improve. I have respect for Singletary too who is going into his 7th year.
I never said he was Wall of Fame worthy, but he was definitely underrated during his time here. Actually reminds me of James Cook with the way he glided through the hole and seemed to fall forward for an extra 2-3 yards on every run.
Never said you did, but it’s been posted on the message board many times how elite he was during his Bills career when that wasn’t the case at all! Good RB, far from great or elite.
-
One thing about Bills fans during the drought years….they love to fall in love with a player and exaggerate their accomplishments!🥱
Fred Jackson was a good RB for us, but he wasn’t some stud that was Wall Of Fame worthy. He was a good RB with a very good story during a very dark Bills era!

I'm 100 percent relaxed bud lol.
Dane will most likely be in competition for a starting role with a corner they draft in one of their first 3 picks.
You're in disagreement with that?
I’m not as down on Dane as you are. He was a serviceable starting corner here and he parlayed it into a nice payday for himself. You act as if his tenure here he was a below average cornerback which he wasn’t!

Can’t defend Bean on this one!

I would respectfully disagree.
He did "fine". But we know who he is.If somehow he starts, Or he has to play because of injury which is very probable at some point, We are getting a mediocre player inserted in the lineup
I would rather someone with some upside/traits personally. (Not Elam though lol)Yea because the draft already happened and free agency is over…..relax bruh! 🙄

Not a fan of this at all.
Not that he's horrible- Just wanted someone else as Dane has a lot of limitations .
The rookie they draft better be good lol
He was a serviceable starter here…..excellent depth, nothing not to like!

Just the fact that when he was healthy he was a healthy scratch behind street free agents is a major red flag for me.
Or it could be that he’s a rookie?

Who would you have signed and what is the contract you would have given them?

No Tim Settle was actually really BAD for Houston but they let him just shoot gaps to his hearts content so he made some plays in the backfield. He wants no part of doing the dirty work at DT. Which is too bad because he's built to play with leverage. Jordan Phillips wants nothing to do with defending 2 gaps either but at least he has the excuse of being tall and long legged.
Yea I’m gonna go off what I heard from analysts. The guys that actually watched the games due to the fact I was watching Bills games around the same time Houston was playing.
