  1. Yeah, it's like people are consumed by it. i must have been VERY naive when Obama was president. Sure, I'd argue with my dad, cuz he's Korean war vet repub, but for the most part I had no idea people hated Obama until Trump arrived. I'm old enough to remember when a few games of pong was enough. Atari started to get my attention but we still played mad football and screwed around and stuff. Now electronics is EVERYTHING I'll do that. I'm older so I remember Tip O'Neill and compromise. The problem is that's not the culture in Washington. I'm not sure it has a ton to do with individual citizens that are democrats
  2. You can't possible be saying that this isn't about election fraud, and it's because social media loves democrats?? That's lunacy. Trumps the one using social media to stir violence. That's a fact, don't get it twisted
  3. Before Trump I wouldn't have even known hardly ANYONES political affiliation. Now there's certainly a detectable amount of tension. and yes, I believe it's because social media not only exacerbates it, but I have a more open view into their personal lives. My work colleagues are like family too
  4. I'm in the middle here. The coup propoganda could very well be dangerous, but at the same time, people have a right to consume whatever news they want.
  5. Well, I'm wondering if we're actually in a civil war?? That's the only why I care. As far as cult vs populist, well if he can feed them coup-laid, and they're chuggin it, then they are cultists. All of a sudden I'm kinda concerned about what's really happening. this may not have been a one n done thing
  6. I don't agree with the title. I mean if he was smart he would have done exactly what he did, and gtfo of there. I got news for these jokers next time, they better ALL BE ready to play, because they took out a lot of officers. Next time it will be guns drawn, and no questions asked. They are playing a very, very serious game. Do you think he feels they're his army?
  7. I'm with you on the Jihad thing. I didn't get it at all.
  8. I think there may be something to read into with all the Twitter accounts banned and Parler being unavailable. I'm actually concerned, because not only do I have a president that doesn't want to panic me, but he may very well be on their side.
  9. I really hope that because last time wasn't THAT bad that they don't take this seriously. Honestly I think they should be treating it like they are not better than a Saudi terrorist. They should be hunting these guys down with military if necessary. Wanna play GI Joe, try it against fully armed Rangers and Seals.
  10. Well done. Trump is the same way. Somehow there ancestors were the ones who did everything and set all the rules, now it's their duty to see it through. The 'earned' rights and privileges thru birth, because they happen to have been spit out of their mom's vag there.
  11. I can respect conservatism, but my issue comes when progress could be made, and they get scared. Maybe the old way isn't better, and you ain't going to know until you try. This country DOES need to take baby steps. In fact, the conservatives sometimes want to move backwards. You're goading a hateful person, so your aware of that what you're doing is likely to get a reaction. As usual, both people are wrong in ways
  12. It's not unique to conservatives. Not at all. For every person who wants abortions another is against them. Both feel equally robbed. It doesn't make any sense. Almost all people think they're smarter than the other guy. That's just human nature
  13. Maybe I was born an idiot, but you work hard to be one.
  14. Get this straight, I ain't here to listen to anyone spew their nonsense. If you want to talk, and possibly teach each other things then make a legitimate attempt at it.
  15. I know what his plan is. It's to shift into renewables, but you start right off with "my boy Biden" and "green new deal". Well you were wrong about both
  16. Ok I read one line of your post, and already have proof it's a lie. “The Green New Deal is not my plan,” he said. “…I don’t support the Green New Deal.” Fact check: Post about Joe Biden, Green New Deal is missing context (usatoday.com) So why should I even bother reading any further if I know you're a liar???? I ain't sweating it, she's a nitwit, and everything I said about her was right, but I got the date wrong. Big frickin woop. If someone wants to nitpick, it's a sign of weakness to me.
  17. He just posted it, so I would guess it was new(recent). The point is I made an error, which is very excusable, and she just talks complete nonsense for a living like almost ALL RIGHT WING CELEBS. I am nonetheless stupid for my error, and she's so dumb that even when i make a mistake I'm still right. Also, I didn't say you thought anything about her, so don't presuppose I thought you did.
  18. Does it make her any less completely wrong??????????? Does she sound like less of an idiot, because it was before???
  19. I believe Trump won in 2016. I also don't think that a riot, which may not have happened, is anything even closed to an insurrection. Not the same. Apples and oranges argument. Truth is sometimes something is worse than another.
  20. Well isn't this priceless. Less than a week after his supporters plot a COUP on the US government, this nitwit chick is going to claim that Biden supporters don't work, and only loot and riot. How on God's green Earth are you ever going to coexist with someone that completely stupid????
  21. This is a perfect example of what I was just talking about. He isn't even president yet, but somehow they know the future. Well, here's a fact for them. They said the stock market would crash if Biden won, cuz commies are bad for business. Well, tell me were they right???? Don't matter they just keep talkin crap anyways. Next fact: skyrocketing gas prices. Obamas last 3 years were lower prices than Trump first 2. Does it matter to this guy that it's a verifiable fact?? Apparently not. Paris accord? well, there's estimates that the long term costs of global warming are ASTRONOMICAL. It's backed by SCIENTIST. Don't matter to him. He'll just say it was 10 degrees last night, or ice ages, as if the scientists COMPLETELY overlooked that factor. THIS is the type of crap that used to be everyday BS, and I'm so glad it moved to it's only little private Idaho where they can just believe things and they magically become fact.
  22. This is very unfair at least from my perspective. This board used to be my way or the highway with ideas(maybe it still is). The thing is if I didn't accept something there's no chance they could know for a fact as fact, examples mike flynns lawyers screwed him and the fbi threatened his family, then I was some kind of idiot who just needed to listen to them and believe a little more and I wouldn't be a numbskull. I would NEVER do that to anyone. If you support your argument with facts, I will gladly accept it. The problem is with them opinion could be, and MANY TIMES had to be considered fact.
  23. This is real easy Democrats are afraid of Donald Trump. He's one shady ass dude who will do anything to get what he wants, including lie, cheat, and steal. He turned the Republican party into mini versions of himself, but still terrified of him. Republicans are spurred on by the real fake news media that tells them Democrats are basically sub-humans who will destroy all the good that our forefathers have done.
  24. Well, censorship is scary if they do it arbitrarily. At the same time these guys have a right to make a living, which means run a business how you see fit. I think of censorship more like if they took my internet away, not an account I abused.
  25. This is REAL simple, and it has zilch to do with free speech. They have RULES just like anything else. He CONSISTENTLY broke those rules, and got MORE leeway than you or I would have(is that fair?). If I go into a church and start yelling, what's gonna happen???? I'm gonna get kicked out. That's what. I broke the rules, so therefore I DESERVED to be kicked out. Actions have consequences. If Twitler had of followed the rules he'd still be there. Don't even bother trying to tell me he didn't break any rules. It was just because they don't like him either, because I'll laugh in your face. They let that name calling blabbermouth get away with sooo much crap.
