Wow you are literally insufferable. Is there a mute button for fake Bills fans strictly here to troll?

imagine believing prospects with millions of dollars on the line are JOGGING at the combine, FOH.

  2. The most I’d give for Deebo, is a 4th. While he’s not the same age as Keenan Allen, he’s also not the same type of player. Deebo relies on physicality to be effective, and that playing style clearly has taken its toll.

That being said, when healthy, dude is an absolute beast, and the idea of him and Josh Allen in the same offense sounds like a lot of fun.
Definitely don’t understand anybody saying he wouldn’t have a role in Joe Brady’s offense. He would instantly become our #1 WR, and Brady’s offense is a predicated on shorter passes and getting players the ball in space/YAC, which leads me to believe some of you don’t know ball, bro…

If we’re trying to win now, and his salary can be figured out without being a detriment to the future, while being had for a 4th or something in that range, then sure, why not get a super talented weapon who also has a vendetta against Mahomes and the Chiefs?

and I don’t care what some other team did. I care what this team does. You have a WB with one of the best arms in the history of the NFL. It would be nice to get him someone to throw downfield to for the first time since 2020. Smoke Brown was the last guy he had that filled this role. And before him he had Robert Foster. And that’s it. And I think it’s pretty fair to say he gave those guys their best seasons of their careers.

    Curtis Samuel is 4.31…

    Shakir is 4.43…

Drafting track stars that can actually play football are not tho. Like Hill. Waddle. Achane.

im not moving the posts. I’m simply behind getting our superstar QB some weapons. Ones that get separation. Ones that find open spaces. Ones that blow the doors off defenses. Ones that keep defensive coordinators up at night. You know, like how Hill did with Buffalo for years as a chief. The only reason he doesn’t destroy us as a dolphin is because his QB doesn’t have the arm to utilize him. And his HC is possibly as dumb as McDermott.

Shakir gets separation. Samuel is fast. Coleman can win contested catches and is a redzone threat. Kincaid is a versatile threat at TE. Cook is another weapon out of the backfield. Josh lead the NFL in total touchdowns last year. It’s a well balanced offense.

Mike Evans has a ring too, he beat the guy you’re talking about, in his prime. Where was there sub. 4.4 40 difference maker when the GOAT was owning Mahomes in the Super Bowl??? Hopefully Coleman is our Mike Evans.

Well. If we were faster in the field maybe we would have had a lead big enough that even this terrible coach couldn’t F it up.

in case you haven’t noticed, the league is getting faster. Our division rivals are getting faster. Hell, even the Pats who are run by a defensive coach picked offensive players until rd6.

McDermott wants a run the ball and play good defense type of team. And that’s fine. If we had a JAG at QB. But we don’t. We have one of the most talented QBs to ever play the game. Get him some sports cars to throw to

Miami is the fastest team in the league. Who’s their Daddy? You worry too much.

Oh no. I do. They lose in the playoffs against good team every single year

That’s not a losing formula though, it’s having trouble finishing the job.

    13 seconds was coaching gaffes

Last year was snake bit by injuries and inexcusably putting AJ Klein on the field in the biggest game of Josh’s career.

In NONE of these losses has a lack of speed at WR been a factor though, that’s just bull####.

*Klein’s lack of speed on the other side of the ball obviously contributed, but when literally your entire LB corp and their reserves are decimated, idk what options you go with there. Clearly not AJ Klein though.

Didn't Beane also draft Devin Funchess?

There has long been an assumption that big bodied outside WRs can outmuscle and make contested catches, but that has been debunked. It's separation that produces results, either from speed, quickness, or good footwork/routes. Teams have been going more and more for smaller WRs with great separation skills. Look at who Andy Reid added this offseason - Worthy and Hollywood Brown. People are pretty high on Coleman as a contested catch specialist with great hands, but can he separate consistently? We know Gabe couldn't.

I don't know why Beane traded Moss for a guy they never used. He was still on his rookie K. I guess he wants a do-over.

I'm not dogging any of these guys as players. I don't know enough about them as a fan. I'm just pointing out what seems to be a trend from Beane that seems old school, out of touch with the league, and counter to what the say themselves.  They seem to like/want a plodding, ball-control offense.

Beane wasn’t the GM in Carolina, so no he did not draft Devon Funchess, nor did he draft Kelvin Benjamin.

It’s a team in McDermotrs image. It’s a losing recipe imo

The Bills have made the post season 5 consecutive seasons.

They have won the division in now 4 consecutive years.

In that same time frame their regular season record is 58-24

Im not sure you have a full grasp on what a “losing recipe” is there, friend.

Beane has a real tendency for a certain type of player.

Ray Davis is a  Zack Moss clone

Coleman isn't too far off from Kelvin Benjamin and Devin Funchess.

None of those guys panned out.

Seems Beane consistently under values speed in skill players.  I was hoping we'd come out of this draft faster and more explosive on O, but instead it's more of the usual.

Coleman would have been a decent replacement for Gabe. Similar skill set. Is Samuel supposed to be the Diggs replacement? Hard to see us being better on offense.

Or defense for that matter. They don't seem to have a vision or plan for getting better than the Chiefs. Feels like a reset year.

Comparison between Benjamin and Coleman is not valid other than they’re both tall and went to FSU. Benjamin was overweight and not an elite athlete.

And if I get current Zack Moss in the 4th round that’s bad? Did you see Zac Moss outperform Jonathan Taylor last year in his own team, or no?

Talking about the WR group guy. Look, you all can try to reason as to why we are fine, better, whatever. People can continue to pucker up for every Beane/McDermott selection. That's your choice. But I don't have to agree with your assessment. And I don't believe that our group overall is more talented than it was last year. I just don't. I also think we blew an opportunity to get a couple of WR's who could help replenish the cupboard, especially in THIS draft.

Yeah we’re really going to miss Gabe Davis putting up 0’s in the THREE different games last year. Sign me up for some of that.

Diggs, while the team was going 6-1 and taking down another division crown-

    315 yards, 34 catches, 1 TD.
How on earth will they replace that kind of elite production from their true number one receiver.

I lived through Todd Collins, Rob Johnson, AVP, Losman, Edwards, Holcomb, etc, I will continue puckering up and then some so long as I never have to go back to that era of football…

These guys know how to win, they’ve proven that.

    Go Bills!

anther 24 yo prospect. They planning on renting cars to get to away games this year?

As I learned a couple days ago, there is a record number of seniors and fewer underclass men in this years draft bc of the covid eligibility stuff combined with underclass men staying in due to NIL deals paying more than late round pick contracts… 🤷‍♂️

Samuel is a middling kind of Slot guy. Seems like they are going to let Shakir get more run on the outside. Hollins is a slight step up from Sherfield. We are all hoping that Coleman can just equal Gabe's production. Shorter is an unknown, and has done nothing. The rest of the guys are nobody's. Mahomes has Kelce, Andy Reid, Steve Spagnuolo, and that defense. We do not.

Samuel was middling bc he was injured and then stuck with Sam Howell and Jacoby Brisset. He’s a playmaker and an asset in this offense.

    Cook and Kincaid are nobody’s?

Brady’s scheme and ball control style of offense wasn’t a difference maker despite going 6-1 down the stretch? K…

Nevermind Taylor Kelce is almost 50. If they had Bernard or Milano, or any LB who wasn’t the corpse of AJ Klein, the Chiefs are not repeat Champions.

The defense didn’t force a punt. The defense always falls short in the post season.

Sans the Bengals game, Josh always does his thing every playoff game, even when Stefon Diggs was nowhere to be found, ever…

So the casual fan’s take away, after Josh was again almost perfect in the post season despite Diggs being non existent, and the defense pooping the bed, again, was this team needs an elite receiver??? Show me the math on that one…

The defense clearly needs to be an absolute unit, which is where I agree with you, Spags takes chicken ***** and makes chicken parmesan year in year out. But he’s done next to nothing to play a role in beating Josh, ever.  Chiefs are also 1-3 against the Bills in the regular season in that same time frame, so let’s not act like injuries on defense didn’t completely derail this team. Hopefully getting younger and faster at safety, adding to the DL, they can force a punt or two next year in the divisional round. Just have to avoid being snake bit at the worst possible time, i.e.- ALL of the linebackers getting hurt before playing the Chiefs…

    Sure, if YOU say so.

Hope you enjoy the upcoming season of mediocrity

What exactly is this team missing from the same squad that went on a winning streak and took the AFC East, AGAIN, and the number two seed?

Stef Diggs who did literally decided to do his best John Cena impression during that same stretch?

Beane has filled all the holes. He’s added WRs in Samuel and Coleman who compliment Brady’s scheme and Josh’s style of play more so than both Davis and Stefon Diggsapearing Act. I’ll assume you somehow know how to better draft and assemble a football team however that’s managed to win it’s division 4 years I’m a row and counting…

Apparently, they don't think they so. Deepest WR draft in 10 years and we get one at the top of the 2nd.

    Yep.

    Samuel looked return to form

Shakir trending up, clearly Beane believes in him more than a lot of the fans around here.

Mack Hollins is a fine #4

Shorter is an unknown at this point, hopefully can crack the roster and make an impact.

They likely add another Mack Hollins type to fill out the roster.

This with Kincaid, Knox, and a strong running game, is more than enough when you look at what Mahomes just won the whole thing with.

  15. This is personally my favorite draft since getting the wrong Josh.

Always a fan of trading back

Coleman is exactly the type of WR Josh has needed. A guy who goes up and gets contested balls bc we all know Josh dgaf about throwing into coverage and giving his guys a chance to go make a play, now he has a perfect compliment for that.

What’s not to like about Bishop? I expect him to be a starting Safety 1/4 of the way thru the season. Has all the intangibles.

Free third round pick from moving down and still getting the WR Josh needs instead of John Ross 2.0- starting caliber day 1 DT in Carter

4th- an absolute beast in Ray Davis, the perfect compliment to Jimbo.

5th round so far- Potential starting C, immediate depth at the spot if nothing else, and gains a 4th in next years deeper draft class.

No idea how you find room to complain about this draft between the quality of players, plus the way Beane worked the board and added picks to both this years class and next...

Surprised Owens ran a 4.63 at the combine, because he claimed “I can still run a 4.4” when he was in his 40s trying to get back in the league. There’s also a video out there where he runs a 4.38. Not sure how he could get .25 faster than his combine time, that’s a MAJOR difference.

He probably went on the Lance Armstrong diet, or he’s full of *****… I’m betting it’s a healthy combination of both.

  17. Keon Coleman - 6’3 213lbs 4.61 40 yd dash 10.54 Split 38in vertical 10’7 Broad

    Terrell Owens - 6’3 213lbs 4.63 40 yd dash 10.58 Split 30in vertical 10ft Broad

The more I read up on Coleman and the way he plays the game, using his size and elite athleticism to beat defenders, it appears he and the Bills legend could indeed be cut from the same cloth.

Looking at those numbers, quite literally the same exact cloth…

Had no idea Keon was essentially a T.O. clone with better hops until 15 minutes ago when I looked up both of their combine numbers and then I was like “Holy Shnikees, Big Baller Beane did it again!”. Time to stock up on 🍿 🍿 🍿.
