  1. It's interesting that the original poster thought WM was running in "slow motion." The thing I remembed the most from his senior college season was watching a Miami game with WM in it and trying to see what all the hype was about. I thought WM's running style looked slow in that game - even before the whole ugly injury - and yet he still was dominating everyone out there. My point is that he really does have deceptive speed out there on the field.

  2. Yeah you did; he's a perfect clone of Posey. Weak against the run, not a good coverage backer and only effective as a rusher when he's unblocked;-)

Although I give Posey big props for the play he made in the Titans game which is far and away the very best play I've ever seen him make in a Bills uni.

Your Posey bashing is ridiculous. I, too, wish we could have Pro Bowlers at every position. But the reality of today's NFL is that we can't. Posey is an above average Sammy backer who got better as the season went on. In his first year as a linebacker in a 4-3 set, he recorded the most forced fumbles and 2nd most sacks on a #2 defense. I hate fans like you who turn against every Bills player that isn't a Pro Bowler.

  3. It is better to cut Gildon and develop a player for depth rather than signing part time one year players.

That's a great idea if we were in rebuilding mode. But we're not. We're trying to make the playoffs THIS season. We need the experience and better depth at OLB and DE.

  4. That´s because Sam isn´t clogging the middle. When he does, the running will stop.

Are we that dependent on one player to stop the run? I thought we were supposed to attack the run with numbers. I'm not saying we're billsfanone yet, but I hope we're sucking because it's preseason and everyone is taking it easy; not because Sam Adams alone is taking it easy.

  5. Here's my 15:

    QB Greg Zolman

    RB Shaud Williams – PS

    FB Luke Lawton – PS

    WR Jonathan Smith – PS

    WR Drew Haddad

    TE Rod Trafford

    T Dylan McFarland – PS

    T Jasen Esposito

    G Ben Sobieski* – PS

    DT Lauvale Sape* – PS

    DE Constantin Ritzmann

    OLB Josh Stamer

    CB Gerald Dixon

    CB Jabari Greer** – PS

    FS Rashad Baker – PS

    * - I'm pretty sure both Sape and Sobieski are eligible for the PS because both weren't a part of the active 45 man roster in enough games last season

** - Prioleau can be our 5th CB until Travis Brown gets healthy. Once he's healthy, Mathews gets cut and Greer moves back onto the 53 man roster

  6. I may be out on a limb here, but I don't get the Trafford infatuation.  In fact, he actually stood out to me for his poor performance in the Denver game.  Now I heard on Empire yesterday that Morrison thinks he is the best athlete on the team, but I don't care about that - I want football players.

These are through the eyes of a fan and not a pro football personnel guru, so I could be all wet.  I'll watch Trafford closely in the Lions game, but at this point it makes no sense using 4 spots on TE's on this roster.

I agree. Antonio Brown was a great athlete too. Peters, for his size, was an incredible athlete. Trafford's destiny may be the practice squad, but no way he makes the final 53 man roster.

  7. got dumped by a butterface a couple months back.  really nice ass, figure, and decent rack, but the face  :P.  she had really long beautiful hair, and i'd pull it down over her face.  she thought it made her look like cousin it.  i thought it made her more attractive  :w00t:

needless to say, there was alot of doggy style

  8. Well isnt this an american comment if I have ever heard one.  Every non-felon citizen above the age of 18 in this country is entiled to express his or her opinion at the polls in november.  My opinion is that the 2 party system is destroying this country.  Class warfare and political correctness in the name of a couple votes have overcome freedom, liberty, and the security of our homeland.

Illegal aliens should be deported, not given drivers licences.  But Mr. Bush is too worried about losing the mexican vote, so he cant do that.

The party not in the white house has no incentive to help improve america.  The current democrats, and the republicans before them, try to tear down the country, with the hopes of winning the white house, so they can regain power.  Its all a game in a very serious world.  And that scares me.  And it needs to change.

Until we have open dialogue in this country about real issues; until we can be one america, where there are no political parties, no republicans or democrats, just americans fighting for our survival as a nation, we will be losing the war on terror.  And neither major political party is ready to take that step.

I'm with you all the way, JimBob. I love the Constitution and am extremely reluctant to want to make any changes to it, but the one thing I don't like about it is the winner-take-all electoral system. Our Founding Fathers were brilliant men, but they weren't exactly infallible. It was a bit of wishful thinking, for example, to believe that political parties wouldn't develop in any form of representative democracy.

(just curious, how come this thread hasn't been moved yet to the PPP?)

  9. hahahah that's funny Kelso, I didnt mention all those guys, Im only arguing for one my man

I hear ya, but my point in mentioning those others is that the salary cap is a cruel whore and PP was an unfortunate - but nevertheless inevitable - victim of this whore. PP was one of my favorites too, but I don't blame TD for letting him go. If you pay 2 WR's #1 money, then that takes away a whole lot of extra money for the OL and DL. And look at our OL and DL at the moment...I shudder to think of our lines next season if Jennings, Schobel, and PW all somehow leave for greener pastures. Right now, we should be able to retain 2 of those 3. But if we still had PP to the similar contract he has in Atlanta, you could kiss all 3 goodbye.

  10. In Fantasy World, we would have still been able to keep Peerless Price, Antoine Winfield, Marcellus Wiley, Ted Washington, etc...

Unfortunately we live in Real World.

Stop wasting thread space on stevestojan topics like this.

Let's focus on the 2004 Bills and get ready for a good season.

  11. If I remember correctly, he stunk up the first preseason game and has improved greatly in the last two. Of course, this is all against 3rd-stringers.

No way he makes the team this year. There are 10 linemen right now who are way ahead of him. But McNally really liked this guy on draft day, so he'll go to the practice squad.
