  1. There's absolutely no way the Bills are cutting Reed or Parrish. Why exactly would we be cutting them? We aren't exactly loaded at WR. Sam Aiken is already gone, and he was really the perennial camp stud to threaten to shake the starters up. Peerless Price is gone too. Behind our top 4, we've got absolutely nothing. If anything, Robert Royal seems like a possibility if that would truly be a surprise.

    Bills WRs:

    Lee Evans (Lock)

    Josh Reed (Lock)

    Roscoe Parrish (Lock)

    James Hardy (Lock)

    Here's what's behind them:

Justin Jenkins (Practice squad fodder last year, I'll say he makes the cut, otherwise to the PS)

Scott Mayle (destined for the PS)

Felton Huggins (Would be lucky to make the cut, but is the second largest WR we've got)

Steve Johnson (7th rounder, destined to get cut)

Jason Jones (Div II stud, undrafted, possibly to the PS)

C.J. Hawthorne (Helped make Colt Brennan a stud in Hawaii, but another undrafted FA, will not make squad)

Scott Mayle (More camp fodder, was on PS in 2007, will not make squad)

I mean. Yikes. Parrish and Reed aren't going anywhere.

i dont think he gets cut at all....they way they talk about him I wouldnt be surprised if Reed gets cuts to make room for Johnson...but I think we go with

    Evans

    Hardy

    Parrish

    Reed

    Johnson

    Jenkins(great ST gunner)

I think CB James get cut, Maybe Royal depending on how they like Anderson..If they dont like Anderson then he goes

    Preston goes byebye also

  2. yea, I dont understand this move either....they could put him directly on IR and not worry about him this year and he'd be here for training camp 2009...this move allows any team to pick him up and do the same....only reason I can think of besides league rules is that they didnt like what they saw from him so far, and that hasnt been the word so far on him.

  3. c'mon guys..how can you not understand atleast a tad bit where hes comeing from?....most of us have "Bills googles" on to start with...I dont agree with him but I can understand where hes comeing from....in his mind hes probably thinking 1- is Edwards the guy in Buffalo?..can he improve on last years games?..2 - is Poz really that good?...he showed some brightness in his first 3 games but can he come back and what can he really do?...3 - if Peters holds out can that O-line survive?...can Lynch run behind a line without Peters?...4 - Will Hardy help Evans actually get some catchs this year?..will any of the WR's step it up from last years performance?....5 - will the Bills offense actually do anything this season?...Can Jauron have a winning season in Buffalo...now dontget me wrong..thers just as many questions for every team in the NFL...but Buffalo hasnt proven they can be consistently good in the past 10 years....when u look at there past you have to wonder...

I say Bills go 11-5 and make Pats* have to work for a win this year let alone the AFC East title...I say Lynch runs for 1300+ yards and 400 yards recieving with a total of 17 TD's...I say even tho the Jets had a nice draft they still dont have a QB and they still suck..and I say Marshall Faulk stills sucks Jets D*cks

  4. at some point i think the HOF has to crack and put a ST section in...for one you allready have Tasker not to mention any STers I dont know about that deserve to go in...whats going to happen if Hester keeps going like he is for the bears?...what if he smashes records for TD returns for kickoffs and punts?....dose he get in the HOF being a crappy WR..I think not..dose he get in for record setting #'s of TD's on ST..Id hope he would.

  5. speaking of training camp..how dou go about getting tickets and getting to camp......i know i gotta take a bus from ER school but were do i buy tickets or do u even have to buy tickets?

on topic...as you probably have seen by now...the only player not to sign is leodis mckelvin....so most likely the only two players not in camp opening day will be leodis and jason peters

  6. You may have to cut Jefferson or a TE.

That's why TE will be the most interesting position to watch in preseason.

another problem im haveing is not knowing whos elegible for practice squad and whos not

Jefferson is one I could cut but from what ive read the Bills really like him...im sure they really like all there players so he might just get cut.

  7. as I recall from that articall and from watching that show from hbo durring training camps..they have a huge buffet of food...lots of fruits, several variaties of juices and gatorades...buffet has things such as scrammbled eggs, bacon, sausage, pankakes and all the breakfast crap plus stuff like salads, cottage cheese, heath foods...but it really is a good spread...obviously at night the bufet turns to more lunch/dinner type foods...from what i saw its almost like they went to country buffet/ponderosa...but it might differ from team to team...ok now im hungry :bag:

  8. I met Darryl Talley about a week and a half ago. He looked great and still in playing shape. He seemed surprised that someone recognized him. I thanked him for all of his playing days in Buffalo. Sad to say, he seemed to be flirting with a 16 year old girl when I came up to say something to him.

was he still working a mcdonalds?

  9. first priority is rookies then Evans then Peters...but Id have to say that the only thing that makes Evans higher priority than Peters is that he's going into his last year...If Peters and Evans were both on last year Peters would be way higher priority...Its a lot easier to find a WR then a probowl, dominant LT...Dont get me wrong I want both re-signed.

  10. LOL..check this paragraph out:

While Rams LB David Vobora scored the Mr. Irrelevant award in real life (he was the final selection in the 2008 NFL Draft), Madden 09's weakest link is Demetrius Bell. The 219th pick overall scored a 54 overall, six points lower than the next-lowest-rated player. On the upside, the Bills OT's morale is a whopping 95. At least he's in good spirits!
  11. I dont think Bills are ready to "write off" Wright just yet...they may see what he dose this season and determine his status next year...but I migh be wrong...Wright didnt show much last year and he was billed as being better than what he showed...I think they go with Lynch, Jackson, Wright, Omen and Barnes as FB even tho I really dont think FB is needed...to be honest unless you have a FB like Allstot or Cash or one that is considered a weapon to me they are not needed on a team that really needs to make sure weapons are on the feild...if Bills put Barnes out on feild that means either a TE or WR has to sit on bench and takeing away an outlet for our QB dosent sound good.

  12. my top 2 would be:

1 - san diego ... like said, they really started cliking at the end of last season and I dont see any reason why it wouldnt pick up at the same spot this season

2 - Cleveland ... this is only and only if Anderson isnt a one year wonder..if he faulters they will be looking at a QB circus and thus most likely ruining there season

  13. Pos Player Name FA Status Previous Team Current Team

QB Gibran Hamdan UFA Buffalo Bills........If Baker is better hes gone this year

QB J.P. Losman UFA Buffalo Bills........will be gone next year

RB Fred Jackson RFA Buffalo Bills........gone if Omen can run

WR Justin Jenkins RFA Buffalo Bills........good kid but probably gone

WR Roscoe Parrish UFA Buffalo Bills [WRONG--EXTENDED LAST YEAR]

TE Kevin Everett UFA Buffalo Bills

OG Kirk Chambers UFA Buffalo Bills........depends on how nexts years draft goes

OT Patrick Estes UFA Buffalo Bills........WHO??...gone this year

C Melvin Fowler UFA Buffalo Bills........will be re-signed...if not starter then depth

C Christian Gaddis ERFA Buffalo Bills........depends on next draft

OL Duke Preston UFA Buffalo Bills........will be cut this year

DL Copeland Bryan RFA Buffalo Bills........gone this year

DL Ryan Neill ERFA Buffalo Bills........will be re-signed unless Felton can LS

LB Angelo Crowell UFA Buffalo Bills........will be re-signed for atleast 1 season

LB John DiGiorgio RFA Buffalo Bills........depends on Banks and Bowens developement

LB Keith Ellison RFA Buffalo Bills........same as above

LB Kevin Harrison RFA Buffalo Bills........WHO?...gone this year

CB Jabari Greer UFA Buffalo Bills........should be re-signed

CB Kiwaukee Thomas UFA Buffalo Bills........Allready gone

FS George Wilson UFA Buffalo Bills........will be re-signed depending on FA and draft next year

  14. Peters should just play one more year, then get his deal. He does deserve a pay day though, and we need him in camp. But we need to lock up Evans first. Crowell too.

I'd love to see Buffalo re-sign Evans and I hope they do....Crowell Im not to worried about...Im hopeing that Bowens can be good or that the Bills might draft a Poz style OLB in next years draft...I say re-sign Crowell after and only if Evans and Peters are paid...I'd like to see what Banks has also.

  15. I'm sure his agent has been angling for a new deal for awhile and used sitting out the OTA's and the mini-camp as a warning that he's serious. It will be up to the Bills to make the next move, but not giving him a new deal would be a serious mistake.

yea but I think Buffalo realizes that this guy is the guy they really need to re-sign..I dont see any reason for stunts to show seriuosness...ok sure Buffalo might have and might still wait till Peters last year to re-sign but players need to be at ota's this year seeings we are so close to turning this team arround and due to new OC.

  16. I like your plan.

After finally stumbling on an elite LT after 15 years, the best thing is to play hardball and piss off the single player most deserving of a pay raise.

yea I have to agree...Peters dose deserve the pay raise and it would be stupid for Buffalo not to do it..only problem I have is that Peters dosent need to sit out of ota's like he has and should show more devotion to a team that gave him a shot in NFL where everyone else didnt even look at him..dont get me wrong, I know football is a business but he could have atleast been at ota's
