  1. I also think this would be short sighted by the dolphins. But I also didn’t think Flores should have been fired. Miami seems to have a recent history of letting go of above average-good coaches.
  2. Oops, that’s what I meant to put too. Guess my fingers wanted to type something different.
  3. I’m sure there are many layers to this, but the NFL is a multi-billion dollar corporation with thousands of employees. How have they not released what the plan is here? At a minimum, they need to suspend week 18 while they develop their plan. How do you expect the Bills, Bengals, Ravens, Chiefs, etc to play without even knowing what they are playing for. Doesn’t make any sense to continue with week 18 just to continue to fly by the seat of their pants.
  4. Came here to post this. Never had any remote success, yet somehow keeps getting backup opportunities.
  5. Again, if this happens, why wouldn’t the Bills turn around and say “then we forfeit against NE”. Who cares if you get the 2 or 3 seed, take the extra week or rest.
  6. This is what I meant to post. Forfeit with both teams getting the victory. Just edited my original post.
  7. How about a double forfeit; with both teams winning. I’ve seen the forfeit scenario thrown around where you punish the forfeiting team, so why isn’t a scenario where you reward them equally as plausible? If you are going to do anything to either of these teams, impact them positively, not negatively.
  8. I just can’t see how the NFL could justify this. Unprecedented, of course it is, but the solution can’t be to punish the two teams who played the game and hand KC an even easier path. I cannot see the NFL execs thinking this is a good way to go. If I’m the Bills and they want to do this then I absolutely tell them I’m forfeiting the Patriots game then and they can explain to everyone why the Pitt and Dolphins games no longer matter.
  9. Surprised the NHL is even still putting these on. They seem to have lost almost all of their luster. Viewership has gone from a high of 4.5 million viewers to its current low of 1.4 million.
  10. I feel like if you did this you’d have to then give the 1 seed the option if they want the bye or home field. The 2 seed gets the other option. The NFL would hate it, but I view a forfeit this week as a package deal with next week. If you are forfeiting the Bengals game then give the Patriots the W, rest up, and take some extra mental health time.
  11. I also thought Booger did a great job with everything. I thought ESPN should have just thrown on a re-run of some football game they had on file. I didn’t understand why they kept throwing it to the studio and asking the same questions, showing the same images, rehashing the same information.
  12. This is what I’d like to see the Bills do. Forfeit the last 2, go in as the 3 seed and give yourself 2 weeks off.
  13. I don’t think it’s out of the realm of reasonability to expect the NFL to devise an idea that accomplishes both of these goals. Doesn’t make the Bills go back to play the game AND doesn’t hand KC the one seed.
  14. Nfl has always been, and will always be, about the money. They don’t give a ***** about anything else.
  15. If you are going to do anything, give both teams the victory. No reason to penalize either of these teams for the awful injury that has occurred.
  16. I had to look it up as well, looks to be legit. At least that’s what he led on in his comments.
  17. That should absolutely be a fumble from Andrews. He was never touched. Nothing I hate more than the “gave himself up”.
  18. He can’t go a game without multiple Mahomes mentions. It’s disgusting.
  19. Alright, you need 40 yards for a field goal. Who else would you rather have than Huntley at QB and a run first, second and third offense.
  20. What a play all around there. Completely clutch.
  21. Helping the runner penalty doesn’t exist in the NFL I take it? You don’t get more obvious than Najee Harris lifting a player who was completely stopped in the back of a pile.
  22. I’m sure it isn’t as simple as it looks. But to stop Baltimore tonight, 1) Sell out to stop the run 2) stop Mark Andrew’s. That’s all you would need to do.
  23. I’m sure Stidham will take down the chiefs next week 🙄
  24. Broncos country, let’s ride!
