Does this change anything in terms of how the bills approach the game tonight?
I think the players play a bit more free knowing regardless they are in. But I do think they go after that 2 seed with a bit more risk knowing if they win, then could be home games in Buffalo all through playoffs depending on Bmore

Brandon Staley. I really wanted the Chargers to keep him for another week.
I agree.
I wish Staley was still there because tendencies and schemes tend to be similar to previous games.
What we got was a home team (even if the fans didn't show but time difference and flying does) that also was now playing harder for an Interim Head Coach and gameplans/scheme/playcalling was different and harder to gameplan for.

He did get his head hit and neck looked at in the very beginning of the game which could explain the lower snap count.
plus he has now hit that dreaded 30 in age and as we have seen many many times, most skill players start their decline.
We shall see but I assume it is injuries/banged up body causing this.

You do understand how a game day immediate reaction thread works, don’t you?
Lol Oh I am aware. But that doesn't mean I can't call those overreacting a bunch of whiney two year olds.

LOTS of tickets up for sale still for the game. As low as $39 per ticket for upper section.
Wish I could go this year as I try to make it to at least one close game a year of where i might be, whether in Socal or FL or whatever.I am sure Bills Mafia will basically have it as a home stadium for the Bills!

I’ve always found defensive celebrations on first or second down idiotic
And I absolutely hate the lets all run to the other endzone celebration the defense does after a turnover unless it is actually a pick 6 or fumble return for a TD.
ABSOLUTELY HATE IT

So if my wife asks if she looks fat in her new dress and I’m silent, she should stop reaching?
what?
bad analogy. Try again
Its more like your wife asking if you are ok and you say nothing. She can assume you are upset even if you are not, you just might be focused. Silence isn't always a negative association when asked a question.

So why are all the players suddenly so effusive in their praise now, but when the sharks were circling they were silent?Maybe they wanted to focus on winning a game this week instead of giving into the BS that some hack wrote......
Stop reaching....

Well, it was a little bit of an eyebrow-raising moment when Matt P asked Josh to speak about McDermott and he declined. Not everyone had a narrative. Some of us just wanted to hear some support for Sean and there was very little forthcoming. Glad to hear it now after a big win.And like i said in multiple posts in this thread, we don't know anything about what goes on behind closed doors or the relationship McD has with the players and the players owe us nothing when it comes to how they feel about anything put out there.
It is ones fault for expecting anything then forming conclusions on the lack there of.

People aren't allowed to question things?
I think this is great to see.
I saw a lot of assuming, not questioning but saying its damning evidence that so and so hasn't said anything to the media, and so what if so and so said they had his back, it isn't Allen or Diggs or someone else..
It was all to fit their narrative and they would argue they know things based off of one opinion based hit piece.

Soooo for all those questioning whether or not the players had his back
I would love to hear your rebuttal to the proof that is now displayed before you that you all had no idea what you were talking about.
Oh here is Allen talking about it....

saying a strong couple words takes 4 seconds and changes the narrative - which has obviously gotten in the building.
this does not read as “we are above the noise” so much as “we are uncomfortable with having to be associated”
That is the issue, you are reading into it to fit your narrative.
I am simply stating we do not know and since they tend to keep it in house, we won't know. -

the players don’t owe it to me - but if they were head over heels for the guy they’d be heaping praise publiclyThat is your opinion. Maybe they don't care about the outside noise and just want to focus on winning a damn game.

This would suggest that it wasn't out of proportion, that it was merely covered up prior to the season starting in the interests of team goals.
That happens too.
We'll see, but many of us have a strong hunch that those of you still defending McD are in for a suprise over the next five weeks.
Nothing I or any of us say or do, we have no control. Let's see. Who knows, maybe we rise from the proverbial ashes to win the SB.
And if that happens then all of this would be forgotten and for nothing.
I am not defending McD, i just don't care about this specifically and do feel the article is an attack as the author did the same with Aaron Rogers in 2019.

You posted a red-x of disagreement with the above. Just curious, what do you disagree with?
Did I miss unequivocal statements by Allen, Diggs, Dawkins, Morse, Davis, Knox, Cook, Kincaid, etc. downplaying it?
The problem I see is you are expecting something out of the players that frankly, I don't believe they owe you anything.
Maybe they didn't make themselves available to the media, maybe they just don't want to discuss what they deem an in house thing.
Maybe we as fans have zero clue of what really goes on behind close doors and what type of relationships McD has with the players.
The Bills have been known to keep things in house.
Look at the Diggs garbage that the media blew out of proportion in the beginning of the year. Players eventually felt pressured by the media to say something.
I would say the same thing is happening with this.
They do not want to talk about it and why do they owe any of us anything. They don't
