Thought experiment: Imagine that the refs are in fact biased: they're instructed to "massage the outcome" as one commentator put it. How would those responsible (the cheaters) want everyone involved--players, coaches, fans, the media--to respond to complaints? Answer: They would be thrilled by much of the reaction here and elsewhere: "Boo hoo"; "losers whine, winners win"; "too bad you suck"; "it's lame to blame the refs," even "wait till next year."

In other words, if there is cheating (a big if), people sneering at those who are objecting are playing the role of stooge for the cheaters. Useful idiots.

I actually don't think it is as big as an IF that you might think.

NBA had point shaving going on by Referees for a while until they used only 1 ref to be the scape goat.

All it takes is a few calls to get some points taken away.

Not only can you still not see the ball, but that image is also not perpendicular to the sideline and still taken from an angle that skews the perspective.

Doesn't matter if you can see the ball or not, assume the ball is in the right arm,  it is still right on the line.

Look at Dawkins black under shirt.  right on the line and almost vertical from that spot.  Josh numbers are right in the middle of that line.

Anyways, yes we should have won without those calls,  the issue is, just like phantom holding calls on O'Cyrus when Josh ran in for a TD early in the year that took points off the board.  These calls alter games and can take points off the board with a simple call, like marking the ball short on 3rd and 3 when it was clearly a first down, or short on the 4th and 1 when the ref ball side marked it a first down..

Gambling being made legal I truly believe is the reason this is happening more.

  3. I am neither happy or unhappy.  Disappointed yes.

I said before the game I would rather lose the AFCCP then lose another Superbowl.

Regardless, this will be the first year I will purposely be not watching the Super Bowl in 35 years.  Taylor Swift influence, Gambling Influence, too much for me.

Since Gambling on NFL games have been legal, the influence of calls by Refs seem to be (as Bill Burr stated) "massaging the outcome of games".

Anyways,  I will continue to watch the NFL next year on  "streaming" sites just so they can't count my number in viewership.

Where am I acting like what? Words on a screen convey nothing but what they say. You're putting emotions behind them that don't exist. Where did I say I was right and you were wrong?

I said this is what I think.

I said nothing about "your window. I talked about a NFL team on tv. There is no "our. You can decide to root for anyone anytime you feel like it.

I'll call a team "us, when they start paying me lol

    sigh.....

    the language gymnastics is tiresome....

Go outside, get a drink, go get a GF, something...

But to sit on the other side of your computer screen acting and pretending you are Nostradamus is so cliche and boring.
