  1. Agree that we probably need two solid RB pickups. Devin's a keeper and he's earned it, but then you still need a bruiser and a more dynamic speed back since Devin isn't necessarily either.

Moss is supposed to be the bruiser and I hope he can get it done but he needs somebody breathing down his neck in camp, somebody that blocks well and bulldozes for 4 ypc. Moss needs to be that dude or gone before Week 1. And then you still need that home run hitter, and considering how close we are, I'm open to anything up to and including Saquon, but I'd prefer a top-3 round draft pick.

Some people just have that star

power, and he’s one of them!

There are a couple of great freeze frames on Twitter of the older women behind him melting into smiling puddles. Hard to dislike the fact that our QB is gaining popularity. I hope he does less commercials than Baker and Pat however, and I trust that he has the right instincts to navigate over-saturation.

  3. Didn't say anything too crazy and made some valid points but I've noticed that this is kind of his thing now. He goes after people on Twitter and makes all kinds of dramatic comments nowadays it seems. I wonder if he's trying to boost his personality for that next step, which isn't a bad idea considering he's a rather untalented, undrafted journeyman.

I don't get soccer either. To me it's watching people run back and forth for what seems like forever and even though the goal is the size of a bus nobody ever scores. That said, at least in soccer there is action, and it's fun to play, so it's miles ahead of baseball in my mind.

To each their own of course but having played football, soccer, and baseball...you do the least in football in my opinion, especially if playing a single, specific position. It's 4 seconds of play followed by a whistle. Soccer is nonstop. And pitching is grueling.

  5. You folks truly don't know how good you have it. Maybe not all of the pizza is awesome, but I live in a metropolitan area of 3+ million people in Denver and there is truly, absolutely nothing. I would take an oily Buffalo 6.5 over anything that I can get out here.

  6. Good lord after reading this thread and article you can place me firmly in the Burrow is incredibly overrated camp.

Burrow also has quite possibly the best rookie WR of all time at his disposal who may not be receiving enough credit himself, but either way, I bet he lays an egg this weekend. He's a tier below Allen and Mahomes and I suspect Mahomes to make that very clear on Sunday.

After watching tonight's game I don't know how anyone thinks adding offense will help us beat the Chiefs. Sure we could use another playmaker but that isn't going to stop Mahomes and Hill and Kelce from getting 40 yards in 10 seconds. We need a CB and a pass rusher. And a play caller that knows who the best player on the field is.

Hanging 50 on the Chiefs is also an option with this QB. Totally agree with your point but you also need to naturally keep up with offensive attrition and continue to arm the eff out of Allen every single year moving forward. 35-40 pts is the baseline in a game like this so yeah I think you do need to constantly improve the offense. Maybe air out KC instead of trying to stop them.

  8. Yeah, laughing stock is extreme. Just check the temperature on Twitter or whatever social media wasteland of your choice, this team is getting respect if anything.

He’s got one more last chance by my count. Totally understand how some may have wanted that to be this year, but there’s no way he can Marvin Lewis his way to 2 more playoff losses. SB or bust, and I hope his staff is switched up for the run.

  9. He’s incredible and a true #2/even 1B talent but the general receiver fluctuations and inconsistencies are interesting. Does his emergence mean Sanders was a dud? I kind of think so considering how quiet he was after the first few games. Beasley disappeared for most of the year, Diggs disappeared tonight. Knox is all over the place. If we could have ever got 2 or heck even 3 of these guys going at the same time we would have been unstoppable.

I appreciated Beasley tonight but between him and Sanders we need a younger, serious upgrade to go along with Diggs/Gabe/Knox (maybe McKenzie)

Agree with the OP.  I'm sort of cautious and pessimistic by nature, but I think we are just superior to the Chiefs in the same way we were to the Patriots.  If we can turn them over a couple of times, I think we win rather easily going away.  If the Chiefs play a clean game, we win by 7.

Travis Kelce and Tyreek Hill would like a word on superiority. Let's not get carried away is all I'm saying. Kelce may very well go down as the best TE in history, and he's pretty much still at his peak.
