I think Daquan is back without a doubt. That way, they can say at least they have a starting d line going in. I want Poyer gone. He’s not the same player, we need some younger guys with juice. IMO we target safety in Free Agency.
Can get some younger guys there at a cost much cheaper than d line or wr. Then the draft is wr and dline early. I except two burners at wr and us trading a pick to move up. In all, we should see 9 draft picks with defense being taken with 9 of them

I agree with this but luckily the last two years have infused so much needed studs. Cool, Bernard, Benford, Shakir all made jumps this year and should
make that next big one next year. Kincaid and Torrence we good this year and will be great next. Williams should also be much improved to help depth. They’ve gotten better and more athletic with those classes.

I mean this with all my heart that if the dude broke his neck I wouldn’t care. Entitled scum bag deserves it after what he did to his kid and girl

Bills are easing the kid into the offense. Settle down Francis.
Exactly, they are letting him get his feet. Plus when they’ve been in 12 personal teams are staying in nickle. We are taking advantage of that by running

What bulls$&t

So I take it there will be NFL plus for season tix holders then. This is super disappointing

Maybe the Steelers just really want to crush people during the pre-season, and they’re playing against teams who treat pre-season like pre-season.
Agreed

He’s always going to have double digit ints seasons. One or two bad games will do that. I could careless if he keeps putting up 35 plus total TDs

Hodgins was productive when the Bills used him as a big slot. Dorsey didn't want to use him there, Daboll did.
Ya Daboll hade him humming in the big slot. His 0 catches for 0 yards on the season. Didn’t even have a target. But ya, Daboll crushed it with him

My point is many many fans here liked the move. They thought he was an instant upgrade despite his declining status and age. No one was saying or thinking they were getting a pro bowler lineman. Fact is BB and lots of fans were happy Saffold was acquired. They thought he was a viable stop gap. The type that could solidify the line on a very short term basis. Thus, lead the team to a SB.
Remember, Cody Ford? How many fans were excited to get him in the 2nd round. Saying he was a steal and going to be a good one. The Torrance situation looks quite similar in many ways. Hopefully, with different results.
Then there's Spencer Brown a huge question mark.
I guess I'm frustrated as a fan because of the failure of the Bills regime to have a very good to great oline. BB has really failed in many ways here and it's clearly cost the team better results.
The situation is nothing like Ford. In terms of prospects, people were figuring out if Ford should play T or G. At no points was he considered the number 1 guard prospect in the draft. Even at Oklahoma, Ford struggled at times inside.
O’Cyrus was getting first round buzz. His work ethic was on record in college and his production was insane. Lastly, the Bills tried forcing Cody to play RT, they never should have. The only thing they have in common is the round they were drafted in

Uhhhh but I heard from a Carolina fan that McD’s D is the same D that we’ve been watching the last few years and to expect nothing to change
But when McDermott was calling it, they actually performed well enough to get to the Super Bowl

Ross Tucker was on Locked on Bills today defending his ranking. Skip to 4:45.
He talks like a meat head but you know what he makes some very good points. His overall point is that if Mahomes, Burrow, and Allen are the 3 best QBs in the world, Allen shouldn't be lagging so far behind Mahomes and Burrow in their playoff success. He attributes that difference to coaching. He makes the argument that if you traded McDaniel for McDermott in the wildcard game this year, no way the Bills squeak by with a 3 point win. He says in the divisional game Burrow knew exactly where to go with the ball in 2 seconds while Allen had no clue and he attributes this to coaching as well.
It's a good listen. I highly recommend it.
That’s a fair point but there’s coaches above him who in can’t win period. Failing to mention he’s the one who took the chance on allen, developed hi and change his identity cause of him.

More than that. It's well documented that he becomes more productive as the game wears on. He'd be wasted on this team.
This is not true, at least compared to last year. He was more of a dominate runner early in games. And you know what would help him out even more? Running against light boxes like he would here.

He was a good pass blocker in DallasHe was an average pass blocker in Dallas and a terrible run blocker. I pray we don't have to play him. I'll say this for him however. He's no worse than Bates. If he's a starter along with Morse and Brown, we will again have a bottom 6 OL. I guess this comes from having a defensive HC. OBD just doesn't see any value in a good OL apparently. Both McGovern and Bates should be backups. He was not an average pass blocked. This is completely false, your opinion isn’t fact. In 900 snaps he allowed 23 pressures and had 1 penalty. He was extremely consistent in pass pro and that’s exactly what we need.

I think the fact that McDermott called for a more aggressive defense with a nasty edge tells me all there is to know about Frazier. To me Frazier was effectively pushed out. Imagine team did expect Frazier to return but McDermott had some changes in mind whether that was the play calling or something else. At this point Frazier decided to step away for the year.
I think once they brought Holcomb in, McD told Frazier he’s calling plays and balls in your court. Frazier decided to walk without any scrutiny.

Wait...are people flipping on Allen now as if he doesn't do enough in the offseason? Nobody has put more work and dedication into the offseason's to keep getting better than Allen has.
Lets not forget that Allen played an incredibly emotional and mentally draining season in Buffalo. That he played through a painful and dangerous injury to his elbow. And is the most physical QB in the NFL who puts his body through way more hits and abuse than anyone else.
So I don't think its fair to criticize Allen taking some leisure time to himself this early in the offseason. In fact, I am glad he is not pushing himself too hard right now, would much rather him get his mind clear, let his body feel good, and then get back to the grind here soon.
The one thing no one can ever question about Allen is his work ethic or his commitment to be the best version of himself.
On top of that, his UCL injury prevents him from doing any lifting. Cardio sure but he can’t go full go

I think it was the ucl injury. Our O will be fine , injuries aside.
But I love this mentality from McD. He's evolving
What’s funny is, the offense score more points and Allen had more tds, more yards, a better passer rating under Dorsey. He did have more fumbles but I contribute to regression in the oline (the right side) and Allen’s injury. Nobody wants this conversation though
-
Of course it did and it’s obvious they designed the offense later in szn to accommodate JA17.

Is it time to grow concerned about Greg Rousseau?

He is definitely been more prospective than Shaq, by a lot actually. He’s played one less season and has more TKLs, TKLs or loss, and qb hits. Yes Shaq has 1 more sack but Groot will bypass that. He’s an elite run defender while Shaq was good
