    Wow, what. A. Game.

I can't believe I watched the whole thing but it was fun rooting for the oddball 5 to 0 final score.

    Name one.

I can't think of a "signature" Tyrod play from last season. No clutch throw, no huge run... nothing.

He did have a nice play moving to his left and then escaping back to his right and a deep dime to Clay against Atlanta that led to a TD.  In fairness that play was sweet.

To be fair, there are protocols that is learned from time on the forum. One of them is to use the search function, or just look at the current list of active threads, and see if the topic is being discussed in another thread (or, as in this case, multiple threads). Starting topics that are redundant crowds the forum, and this thread is egregiously redundant.

Fair enough and I can respect that.

Honestly when I read the OP nothing about it resonates with me. It really was just a low effort troll post in my honest opinion. I would like more effort in original posting. Do some research and get your points together I am sure even if people disagree they won't bash you.

There is nothing in the OP that will enlighten me. It provides no new information. All the points are personal feeling. I wish we had upvotes and down vote system like Reddit.

That is all well and good but the take of "newbie  has to start his own thread. LOOK AT ME" is what I was reacting to.  It's the equivalent of picking at someone's grammar during a debate over physics.  It just seems unnecessary and irrelevant.

Edit: just to be clear my take is only regarding the idea that new posters are somehow illequipped, by default, to hold an intelligent debate.  I need a safe space stat

Newbie to a message board but likely not a newbie to planet earth.  This has nothing to do with the thread starter's post but it is insane how people think that a person who just joined a message board or has limited posts is somehow less qualified to post or comment than someone who has a ton of posts.

You do realize that people exist outside of message boards right?  We have thoughts and ideas even though we may not post them.  To dismiss someone's take due to them being new to a message board is pathetic and something I have never understood.

And yes I am also a newbie to the message board but not to life :)

You may be reading the title and wondering how or why.  I came across this interesting article below.  It pretty much says Doug Petersen was very annoyed and enraged watching the AFC Championship Game and Marrone's very conservative play calling.  So he figured if nothing else he sure as hell wasn't losing to the Patriots that way.

    http://www2.philly.com/philly/sports/eagles/eagles-doug-pederson-fearless-doug-marrone-jaguars-patriots-afc-champtionship-game-20180821.html

If Petersen didn't coach that aggressively in the Super Bowl the Eagles wouldn't have won.  So yes Marrone in some ways inspired this.  So I say thank you St. Doug after all.

Hey look even if you don't believe that I hope you do get a smile out of this below.  Those depressed looks!

What a pile of spoiled pumpkin f@$#÷=s

Imagine being THAT dejected after losing a Super Bowl...after having won 2 of the last 3...and having 5 total championships in the last 17 years (averaging 1 about every 3 years).  Jesus.

Ha.  I’m enjoying this thread. Not watching the browns game.  Will probably never watch a browns game as long as that Landry guy is wearing a uniform.  I’m boycotting him.  Is that a thing?

Oh it's a thing....and its warranted.  He is a punk and seems like crap teammate.  The type that would be upset the team scored because HE didn't score.

I really do not think Kyle needs reps beyond the pre snap communication with the new guys at this point.

Walk throughs might well be enough till week one ?

I honestly think they need him out there mostly to help Edmunds.

One saving grace might be Lorax being out there for Edmunds if Kyle misses time.  Good to have vets

Cleveland is different.   HBO is producing that series and is editing the content.  The Embedded series is produced and edited internally by the Bills.

I agree that this is 100% true...but even with the obvious pro-Bills slant of the Embedded series I think it's clear that McD has a command of this team that is encouraging to see (I'm not saying that you don't agree with that...I'm just quoting you on the show producers)...and alternatively, Hue just seems like a lame duck with NO control over his team.

  10. I do think the Bills suffer from the old "oh X team?  They always suck!".  I think if/when Brady/Belichick retire (they will...right?) media and fans will afford them the same attitude but in a good way.  It will take several bad seasons (maybe longer) for people to realize that the Pats aren't the dynasty they were.  Similarly, I think the Bills need to string some playoff appearances together to get national respect.

Encouraging news on Kyle.  He is so vital to the Defense from an energy and leadership standpoint.  With him on the sideline he can still try to inspire, but nothing like if he is in the trenches with the boys.  I still get chills when I think of one of his pregame speeches last year (don't remember/know which game it was from) but he started it with "It's gonna hurt today...GOOD!  Because if I can stand with anybody and it comes down to an all guts race I like the Boys in Blue I can promise you that!"

EDIT:  Found it...hopefully this link works.  I suck at interwebz stuff.

Goodness, every thread is team Peterman and team Allen battling lol..

Team Bills. Who cares who starts or who you like more? They get some W’s with this team is all that matters.

The QB takes remind me of an election...people get entrenched with "their guy" and almost don't care how the team (country) does as long as "their guy" gets the start (election win)

I think it’s more important that students learn about cultural diversity than finances.

I think you might be joking...but if you are not...can you explain why you think cultural diversity training is more important than financial training?  Knowing how to manage your money, and ultimately your entire life and future would certainly appear to be more valuable than being "woke".

Maybe because Peterman has been the best QB on the field for us so far this season...

I personally think the guy will eventually be better than the likes of Kirk Cousins and a few other fringe talent QBs.  I just don't get all the hate towards him on this board.  Blah, blah, blah he threw 5 interceptions in a game....  who gives a flying FU3k.

Speaking only for myself, the 5 interceptions was awful but it is not the reason why I would rather the Bills start Allen over Peterman.  I think Peterman has the DNA that McD is always preaching, and I think he is overall an accurate QB, but I think his lack of top end arm strength makes it hard for him to effectively make all the throws necessary to be a starting QB in the NFL.  If he knows where to go with the ball and its on target, but doesn't have enough zip it allows DBs to more easily break on the ball.

I think the 5 interception narrative is just an easy way out for people who just want to say Peterman sucks.  I think Peterman could be a good QB in some systems that play to his strengths.  But after so many years I just want the Bills to have a QB that can play in any system.  By at least starting Allen this year and giving him a chance to see what he has, we can at least know if the Bills have that QB in Allen.
