Honest question? Do people really think this matters? Josh tossing the ball around a HS field for a couple hours one weekend this summer. I mean it can't hurt but seriously how much can it possibly matter.
You think in the KC game they said on the sideline remember that out pattern you threw me on the Lockport Lions field in June? Let's do that again!
I liked you better when you were in Portland.

He’s a good pick, but I’m not sure I love Beane’s draft strategy thus far. I would feel a lot more confident if we had doubled up on WR.
Maybe they have a veteran trade or Michael Thomas in mind.
This actual pick though is fine, he’ll be a good addition to the room.
I mean Beane's approach should definitely be focused your confidence level.

So many tears. What a soft fanbase we've become. These guys haven't taken a snap (let alone a practice) in the NFL. Maybe wait and see how it plays out.

Interesting stat of the day....
Coleman's 40 time is still a point higher than the collective IQ on here.
That's being generous.

Not a name that has been touted around here.
That might be a good thing. A lot of unemployed NFL GMs here.

Smart moves by beane. Draft didn't fall his way so didn't reach. I trust his judgement over a bunch of keyboard warrior drama queens

Please. People need to stop with the Worthy comparisons to Hill. Hill has 20 pounds on Worthy.
And we don't even know what worthy's kid situation is.

Oh no the chefs might win the SB due to this here draft pick
Thats where I am at...they just win super bowls...doesn't seem to matter who they (or we pick)

In many cases Allen is the only reason we are successful (or at least mostly)...if we shipped him off for an extra 1st/2nd this year and next...we'd be starting over at QB and still have the holes on the roster we do...without Allen to cover those up.
Also, WHAT???!?!?!

We live in Henrietta, so just going to my sister's place in Fairport with the kiddos. The real trick is going to be getting the little turds to keep the glasses on!

Doesn't really matter. KC will be in the AFC title game again, at the very least, with or without him. He doesn't really move the needle much for them as far as they relate to the Bills and our inability to beat them when it matters.

I'm just going to go ahead and trust this staff with the defensive secondary. They have a pretty good track record.

Comparing to the chiefs and 49ers the 2 SB teams, here's how I'm going to categorize as elite:
-Made 1st team/2nd all pro last year
-Top 3/4 at position. (For example, Josh and Mahomes are elite even though they didn't get voted all pros)
So for the bills I got 3 players but technically only 2 last year cause the Milano injury.
-Josh, Milano, Taron.
Chiefs: 7 players-Mahomes, Kelce, thuney, humphries, C Jones, Mcduffie, Sneed
49ers: Hufanga got hurt so technically 7 players
-Mccafery, Aiyuk, T Williams, Kittle, Bosa, Warner, Hufanga, Chardavious Ward
(I didn't include their fullback)
So in the playoffs if you factor in injuries, bills had 2 "elite" players based on the all pro selection/my opinion.
Chiefs 7
And 49ers 7 with the Hufanga injury.
While the bills have a lot of good to very good players, I really think they are missing some game breakers on this team.
What do you guys think?
I think weighting has to factor in rather than just total number of "elite" players.
For instance, having 1 elite player like Allen is worth a lot more than 1 elite linebacker.
But we do not have many "elite" players...we have done well with Allen being elite and making up for a lack of elite players elsewhere.
For instance, I think if Allen were on SF they would have several rings in the last few years based on their elite talent at multiple positions coupled with the overwhelming weight of having an elite QB.

All of the above. All the reasons provided in the poll have led to them not getting it done. Sometimes all at the same time.

It's partly a habit/addiction. And with a lot of habits/addictions...we still do them even when they are no longer fun.

This feels like the analytics folks crushing Allen all over again. Obviously different players, different positions, different metrics, etc. etc. etc. We really won't know anything for a while.
