I hate to pimp up a Pat on this board, but Edelman holds clinics on most Sundays on how to create separation. I couldn't believe the separation he was getting in the SB last year. Early on in the SB, I was saying Edelman deserved MP if NE won the game. The routes and separation he was running and creating were amazing.

While I don't disagree, the separation a WR creates has a lot to do with ball placement. The less separation requires the ball to be placed where only the receiver can catch it which is at times not where you'd put it for maximum YAC.

Southern CA is much like eastern NY in the media.

It appears we should bring a strong running gameplan, complimented by a short passing game with the strategy of decent YACs.

I respect your Bill's passion. I guess I strongly disagree with an assumption that non P5 players are, by definition, lesser in value than are P5s. Lots of reasons that this isn't the case. Kids grow and mature at different rates. Allen was in the first round for both of his soph and junior years while at UW. The vast majority of pundits held an opinion different than yours. Whatcha think of that other MWC QB performance last night? Carr was money on that final drive. Time will tell who gave up too much draft capital and who didn't. Well, in the Bronze Boot's 51 yr history, CSU has only lead the series 1 yr. So perhaps the rivalry isn't as big for us Wyo fans

You didn't come close to showing "them all". On the one hand you say that Wyoming is so inferior to P5 schools and then you want to credit everything at Wyoming to one kid. You can't have it both ways man! How would have any of these P5 QBs performed at Wyo? How well would JA have preformed at one of these P5 schools? You can't ignore that context, along with all of the "better" talent around these P5 QBs. Your "them all" stats totally whif on this context. Please tell me you understand that. No he's not, and it's not even close.

We'll need to disagree then. P5 is no where close to the NFL. Every draft pick is a project.

I think Daboll is, overall, a good play caller. That doesn't mean he doesn't make some stupid ass calls. And as long as I have hindsight, I'll take the right to point out his stupid ass calls!

I'll just post this.... A year and a half ago all of you experts were saying that Allen and Jackson were the worst of the top 5 QBs and the least "NFL ready".
