  1. We need OL, WR, DBs, & DL. Early & often in the draft. Who we getting some picks for? Show these players that we not just making sure everyone we like has a job. They actually have to win. Right? They’re suppose to win? Diggs & Milano seemed like only 2 fighting till the end. IMO

Would much rather draft a top prospect WR in the first round who we would have under a rookie contract for a few years rather than paying millions on a 1-year contract in the hopes OBJ can return to form.

We gave Saffold $6M to come here hoping he'd be at least somewhere close his former Pro Bowl self and that was a huge mistake.

Or go OL or defense. I say trade Tre white

They did a kind of a never seen in the rear view mirror and now eat my dust thing.

They took advantage of what they were given with no fear. That’s the SB model. QB on a rookie contract it’s been proven over & over. Once the QB is off rookie contract only the elite stay. Our coaching has proven over and over they aren’t elite. Simple mistakes out of fear, complacency, and or just can’t cut it. they haven’t learned from their mistakes they don’t jam anyone at the line. Place soft coverage with the lead or in crucial moments thinking their red zone defense will be better. Stupid timeouts, constant letting off the gas, continuous deep routes on downs you should be trying to manage the yardage, sloppy play, sloppy fundamentals & tackling. It all starts with coaching. He has a lot of good qualities but at his heart he is a soft man. He has no hunger, no killer instinct inside of him. And his team is a reflection of such and has been his entire tenure. Can never finish always let’s the opponent hang around. He let another team do snow angels on our field during the playoffs. Lol he needs to take his ass to church let someone else get in the film room.

    Second EDIT: Wyatt Teller too!

    🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🤣🤣🤣🔥🔥🔥🔥

Wyatt Teller, Isiah Hogkins might have a future shot. Tre White will never be better than Mahomes 🤷🏻‍♂️ & he looked like he shouldn’t have been on the field this season. Oliver has the potential but I wish he had the same energy as Lawson. Milano is & has been the best player on that defense for years. Edmunds instincts are horrible or he could be a monster. I also agree Rousseau under the tutelage of Von Miller has shown me he has a lot of potential.

I think it's very telling that other from Allen Bean has failed to draft 1 single game changer other than flashes from Edmunds...Bean has not done well at all in the drafting of players and McDermott has done just as bad at developing players....seems McDermott expect very little from his rookies for a year or two...that thinking is a problem..a 1st round pick should be expected to be a starter yr 1 in today's nfl

Seems they don’t even trust in themselves because they’ve let 2 of their best prospects leave without even getting a shot. Been saying they all gotta go. Thanks for JA & the recognition

Since Sunday afternoon I've seen so many Bills fans complaining about Frazier, McDermott and the defense. Upset that they couldn't shut down one of the best offenses in the NFL in the divisional playoffs.

The bottom line is this: Once Allen signed that massive contract, the Bills stopped being the type of team that can shut down powerful offenses and instead moved into the category of teams that have to outscore opponents.

The days of a dominant Bills defense are over. The NFL's system is built that way thanks to the salary cap. We have a franchise quarterback now that's paid that way. We're not going to be able to load the roster with defensive stars going forward.

Josh Allen is one of the three best quarterbacks in the NFL today. That means the offense has to be dominant. The defense just has to not be terrible. Giving up 27 points is not terrible. Scoring 10 points IS terrible. This is the mentality that Bills fans are not used to but have to get there: which is to focus on the offense instead of the defense.

It's not ideal to get down 0-14 to start a game. But it didn't phase me. I knew the defense would adjust and for the most part they did, only giving up 13 points the rest of the way. But the 0-14 start really didn't bother me much because we have Josh Allen - I fully expected the offense to start humming and not only get back into it but eventually take the lead. But they never did. The defense gave the offense opportunities to do so but the offense failed each time.

Frazier isn't a schematic genius but he's not going anywhere. The system isn't going anywhere. It's good enough to not be terrible.

Instead, put the focus and pressure on where it now belongs - the offense:

    • Dorsey has to get better in Year 2. The schemes he comes into the 2023 season with and his playcalling on game days.
    • Beane has to upgrade the OLine. Draft, free agency...whatever. The OLine on Sunday was a total embarrassment. That's on Beane to fix it.
    • Outside of Diggs, the wide receiver unit is simply not good enough. Gabe Davis ain't it. Neither is McKenzie. I like Shakir. But Beane needs to address this unit this offseason.
    • Improvement from Knox, Cook, Hines - a lot of this has to do with Dorsey involving them more. But all three have major talent that must be properly utilized.

If all of this happens, Allen can relax and be the best quarterback on the planet in 2023. He will stop feeling like he has to be Superman every possession and just play.

Then the offense can be dominant.

That's how this team is going to win the Super Bowl. Not by being the 2000 Ravens. But by being the 1999 Rams.

I mean I agree the offense needs to produce more. But our defense needs to also show up. These coaches ain’t getting it done though. You will see. Unfortunately we all will see something I’ve been saying since McDermott lost to the Texans in the playoffs. Same ***** another year. He’s soft. He makes the team soft.

I just don’t understand why this team is not built to be way more physical and imposing especially when a home game in the elements dictates you need that type of team.  The Bengals just manhandled this team on both sides and with backups on their OL after looking quite pedestrian vs Ravens.  I really just don’t see how this is anything but a reality check for the entire organization from Beane to position coaches. And I’m not certain the investments in the D are as bad as they may seem but I do think there are serious questions about their development and training as no players really seem to develop on the DL.  Hard to say who is at fault but there is a massive issue. They need to invest in protecting Josh and getting more physical on offense as a priority. I sincerely believe the way the Bills play D wouldn’t be much worse if they didn’t Invest so much into it. It’s the keep it in front of you philosophy that rolls out the red carpet for first downs and long drives against talented offenses - you don’t need top notch talent to play patty cake.

SOFT COACHES. No one listens to me. McDermott is a ***** *****.

Yes, I know he looked terrible this season in limited play.

3rd rounder in a potential Super Bowl year.

We needed OL and WR badly.

    Why did we draft him?

The Bills play a base 4-2-5 defense… 4 down linemen, two linebackers, 5 DBs including a Nickel (Taron) who acts as a linebacker at times. Was Bernard intended as insurance against a Taron or Edmunds injury? Was he intended to be used as a core special teamer and traditional OLB in 4-3 looks?

I didn’t understand this pick at the time and still don’t … unless it was always the plan to groom him to replace Edmunds… which also seems odd in a SB year.

So… what do you think was the ideal outcome Beane had in mind?

Try to keep the snarky/defeatist answers to a minimum.

Also seems odd in a SB year to have a rookie OC and punt from the 35 before half in the divisional round of the playoffs. This team is a joke. They put themselves in win now mode but leave other parts of the team as a work in progress. McDermott & Beane are honestly to worried about people’s emotions & feelings more then winning. N they have done a bunch of ***** that contradicts each other. Need to clean house. N Beane will be fired next year as well for not cleaning house this year. McDermott will never win a SB. EVER.

I wasn't that high on Allen to be honest. Beane and the scouting staff hit a grand slam. That pick transformed the Bills into a winning team and playoff contender for years. Hopefully it leads to a Super Bowl win.

Will never win with the current coaching staff. PERIOD. And the same thing is in true Buffalo Bills fashion we gonna rock out with McDermott until our SB window is closed. Honestly this was the best put together team. And since they beat the chiefs earlier in the season they’ve placed sloppy, undisciplined, & unmotivated football.

Yeah, just like Beane said anyday now Gabe is going to turn into this great WR2 he was supposed to be this season.

I've defended Beane, but more and more lately it seems like he just another one of those guys talks a good game, but really has no clue what he's talking about.

He also let Wyatt Teller and Isaiah Hodgins go…? Which I thought both draft picks showed they could stay and even earn a roster spot over overpaid veterans. Coordinators at the minimum must go. And McDermott should be kept on as an assistant GM.

I appreciate he was asked to make chicken salad with subpar ingredients, but aide from Poyer the safeties were not good this year.  We lost the 1 seed because of Cam Lewis’s brain cramp.  Then went through Johnson and Marlowe and Lewis and couldn’t find anyone who could cut it when Poyer was out.  This was an easy one for me.

The more interesting question that’s coming is whether they blame Chad Hall for the mess at receiver, or whether the receiver room is adjusted this offseason.  (Or both, I suppose.)

I agree and Poyer towards the end was off. But I don’t believe you blame the coach for staffing issues. It’s not his fault he only had Cam Lewis or Siran Neal to choose from

    They definitely need a WR2.

Gabe is good as your 3rd/4th option, but he’s not a 2.

Agreed. Beasley and Brown ain’t it either

The Bills/Bengals game was on NFL Network yesterday. I watched just a few minutes. The Bills are driving for the score that would’ve changed the game going into halftime. Singletary is wide open on the check down over the middle for the first down that gets them into field goal range and Josh throws it over his head by five feet. Two plays later McD punts from their side of the 50 with a minute left in the half and everyone in the country knows it’s over.

Yeah I don’t understand the punt either it was literally accepting defeat in my eyes.

The best QBs use that, first, to gain yards, second, to help spread the D out.

Allen's a great QB, he understands this.  A minor tweak to his game.  He did it more last year, but he had Beasley too, more reliable hands than McK or our other slot/short options.

    Comes down to coaching.

  9. We need an OC who schemes plays where not all the QBs targets are 20 yards down field on 3rd n short. Our receivers are getting separation. The passes have been off, or it’s been a low % pass schemed at the worst time. This team all year hasn’t taken what the defense has gave them and continuously just tried for the big play. Dorsey and Allen=Erratic

  10. You know he defends Dorsey. Yes Dorsey is a first year OC. But the Buffalo Bills have done everything to put themselves into win now mode but you have a 1st year OC puts you behind the curve from the jump. Kind of ass backwards. All the coaches gotta go. Beane is too close to McDermott. He might have to go as well

The Bills - regardless of what decisions are made - are likely to have more hiccups next season. This needed to be THE year. Future years are going to require more luck.

I disagree I believe this will make this team not feel like the top dog and play smarter football and not think they can do anything and get away with it. This team has been sloppy and poorly coached from awhile now. We shouldn’t have won a lot of games we won and we only lost the ones we did because of sloppiness

Sure, lets fire all our playoff winning coaching staff and go back to 20 years of rotating through everyone else's castoffs again until we get lucky.

How easy do you think it is to find playoff winning coaches who arent already firmly established in a rival franchise?

How many times, on this venue, did we see massive interest in the next sure-fire winner only to find out they were let go by someone else for a reason?

We did not play well, the Bengals were better in every aspect yesterday.  Thats partly on coaching and partly on players.  If your going to fire the coaches, might as well let Allen go and all the others too.

Teams built, coaching is not. They’re old and soft. Bills need someone hungry and willing to be different. We need a killer instinct and Dorsey Allen is not it. It allows Allen to be to erratic. He’s got his best receivers running 20 yards on 3 rd n 5 it’s a constant set up for failure. McDermott is a B word. I’ve said it for a long time now. He is a great coach in a lot of ways. But he falls short in key aspects needed to win a SB.

Two games from the Super Bowl and they just decided it’s too much?

If that’s the case, they are mentally weaker than I thought .. and we need an even bigger house cleaning.

They got punched in the face by a better coached, tougher team.

Once they got dazed, they had no plan.  No coaches that could help.  Just had to take the beating.

There are no excuses.  It was embarrassing for every single person involved in this organization.

It’s the type of loss, in Year 3 of contending, that precedes change.

Yeah, I said all this ***** last year that McDermott was too soft to do anything important and was shunned and had every one of my next posts deleted lol.
