  1. Interesting theory. Helps pass the time I guess...
  2. Oh no, Belichick was very vocal about the turf. Houston sports radio was having a field day with that.
  3. Funny, the turf at Reliant Stadium was good enough for Ol' Bill back in 2004 when the Pats* won the Super Bowl there.
  4. This thread is an early nominee for the "Most Deceptive Thread Title of the Year". The article is pure rehash of speculation. There is NO BIG OFFER, and NO INDICATION THAT ANYONE IS BEING ENTICED. Waste of time.
  5. He pulled out to avoid having to answer for his past anti-Buffalo statement. Addressing this matter, or even publicizing it, gets in the way of his ongoing campaign for the Bills job.
  6. And for a mere $27K a year, you too can attend!
  7. I find it very suspicious that Casserly and Moe Howard never appear in the same place at the same time.
  8. No prob guy - I got that Peter Pan thing too so I understand being hesitant!
  9. This one is from buffalobills.com Forget the link, go to the Bills website separately - just passing on info from there.
  10. And just how does one assemble a staff under a 1 year deal?
  11. I'll admit I was skeptical too because he wasn't a known commodity to me. He is now and I give him FULL PROPS.
  12. How long does it take you to buy a car? We are talking about a $50-60 million deal here.
  13. Some perspective - we're about 25 hours into the postseason.
  14. Thanks for sharing. Great thread!
  15. Posting this just to encourage everyone not to hang onto every word everyone is saying: The Bills' website has posted a story from Chris Brown stating the entire coaching staff was fired, yet Schefter is currently on ESPN NEWS as I'm typing, and TWICE refused to confirm that Fewell or his staff was fired. And, Schefter stated that his report about Cowher unlikely to return in 2010 was based NOT on talking to Cowher, but on people who TOLD HIM THEY HAD TALKED TO COWHER.
  16. Depends on the reason for Cowher's hesitancy, if there is any. IF Buddy and company believe there is hesitancy based on the city or commitment to winning, then yea, Jimbo could help and the time is now. But if they think it's a money issue, Jimbo will not be of any help, now or ever.
  17. Which list are you referring to?
  18. Your statement is true IF you want to coach at all cost. If you are lukewarm or want to hold out to see what oportunities are available a year from now, CBS works as a great falback option.
  19. NFL Insiders reporting about what we are buzzing about = they have no clue what's going on.
  20. If "things could change", sounds to me that Cowher really wants to coach if the right situation comes along. Now whether situation is defined by money or something else, who knows...
  21. Every reporter "hears things", but in today's environment every tidbit heard by every reporter gets thrown out in a rush to be heard. Best not to get too high or low as these tidbits drip out. I have no doubt that Shefter heard what he's reporting, but it also could be that Cowher is negotiating. If you know you're wanted do you just take what you're offered without counteroffering? Remember, this is a multimillion dollar deal we're talking about.
