Jets’ play design and pass pro tonight have been perfectly tailored for a rookie qb making his first start.  Darnold has been under very little pressure from the Lions’ pass rush.

Totally agree! Very impressed with Jets coordinators, OL, and DB's. Seem vastly improved in all areas. They've been blowing the Lions off the ball from the opening kickoff. I know it's the Lions but I also know how sharp the Jets look. If the Lions ARE weak, the Jets are doing what a good team should do. Blow them out.

  2. Couldn't listen to much of it due to other commitments but heard John Murphy complain about the officials and I thought I'm glad to miss this. It is hard to watch that game and say the officials had a whole lot to do with the outcome. It was like watching men against boys. I feel like the Bills have the kind of roster an expansion team might have. PS They have the name of this right with "Breakdown" in it. Both the team and their assignments and the fans after watching the game.

  3. I have seen nothing from him that makes me want to keep him. Those that attended training camp might have a different opinion. I don't see any separation and not as much of a burst as I thought. I think Reilly has looked much better and will operate in the middle of the field where there are openings to be had. No special team value to Coleman either from what I can tell. Worth the risk but I just don't see much there.

I'd keep Coleman because he provides something no other receiver on our roster has: legitimate deep speed.

If the other receivers kept are Benjamin, Jones, Holmes, and Kerley...well...you need speed SOMEWHERE in there. That's where Coleman comes in.

Have you seen any evidence of that speed? I know what his reported times are but with your own eyes have you seen it? I haven't. No separation, no little extra kick. Nothing. I think the Browns figured that out too.

What exactly do you want to hear that will stimulate your senses? Ray Ray reads poetry, Tre takes moonlight walks on the beach, Wyatt enjoys calf roping in his spare time? Keeping it simple doesn't make someone a simpleton or maybe you're a summa cum laude and need more enlightenment. All I need to hear is " we're on our way to Cincinnati".

Silence is preferred. A total waste of time to have a press conference and hear tripe.

You're right. I don't understand why he and Frazier for that matter don't lay out the entire playbook and schemes for us to critique.

You're right too. There are no positions between opening the playbook to the fans to critique  and saying "they are wonderful young men working hard and going through the process". Very informative. I'm so glad he's keeping it simple and on your level for you.
