Once Trump gets back will he clean it up? or risk the heavy blow back, now that we know Barr is in it,

    Guess time will tell.

Will Biden do it (lol) just kidding on that last part, duh.

They are all in it.  Both sides only care about what the constitution says when it supports what they want.

That may have been the case when folks carried muskets. Now it is a delusional take of folks that watched too many action movies.

If it ever comes down to armed citizens vs the US government and its military, folks would be better off leaving the country. I hear the Coast of Spain is nice.

At that point we could all say the great experiment of democracy called the USA had failed as we would not be able to stand in the way of an autocratic regime thus armed.

Which is exactly why the military and its leadership pushes back against a President who is far to quick to dust off a Sedition Act penned in 1798.

Or, good luck folks hunkering down in your bathroom with your ARs and body armor, while a remote controlled reaper drone flying at 30,000 feet surgically vaporizes you with a hellfire missile, or turns you into human confetti releasing a bunch of spinning blades.

Our military has become very efficient prosecuting anti-terrorism and asymmetrical warfare.

The United States has a larger population and are far more heavily armed.  The population is also diversified.  Many in the armed forces would stand with the people.  With all that being said, who is really willing to put their life in harm's way.

Do the Jets have Quinnen lining up as a DE in a 3/4? It looked that way to me.

If so, he would be much better as a penetrating DT, based on what I have seen from him at Alabama.

Not sure a 3-4 NT is the same as a 1-Tech and him playing 3-4 End has nothing whether he can handle the 1-tech.  The only issue would be if he would accept that role as far as playing goes.

  3. You mean you didn't expect us to go 19-0 every season for the next 10 years starting this season?😉

No team in recent years has won because they added 1 or 2 players per year in the draft until lo and behold a team wins a championship.  I don't personally know the secret sauce beyond having a top QB and a top head coach.  I mostly follow the AFC.  In the AFC there are four organizations that seem to be able to compete almost every year, despite drafting with late picks due  to their successes. These teams are the Patriots, Steelers, Ravens and Chiefs. The Chiefs have already won a super bowl with the current QB & signed the QB to a record setting extension, and still seemingly improved this year.   The Bills have improved a lot compared to the prior Bills teams of the last 20 years. This year Bill's fans were hoping to see the Bills improve enough to compete with the top teams.  Hopefully the 2020 Bills have improved enough to beat the 2020 Patriots, Steelers and Ravens.  It is not quite enough that the 2020 Bills would likely crush the 2017 Bills.

The QB rookie contract window is closing fast.  Beane's job becomes much harder once Allen rolls off the rookie contract.

Unless Allen follows the trend and gives a home town discount.

Unless he isn't the one lying.  I don't understand why people who it has nothing to do with don't reserve Judgement.

I also wish this sort of news stayed off this board, especially right now.  We have enough negative things to deal with.  This has nothing to do with the Bills and in reality isn't football related. He isn't even a former Bill's player.

And suppose it wasn't rape?  Then would that make you a terrible person?  I am always skeptical when it comes to these sort of things.  The defense should never be denied admission of evidence.  How do you accuse an alleged victim of being a liar.  No one wants to be wrong about that sort of thing and that makes it easy to get convicted of a false accusation.

Oh, don’t get me wrong- we still have a great shot at the division, we are just not title contenders yet imo...still several key pieces needed...that’s what I meant by this is not our year...

Originally I had thought we were in better opt out shape than most teams, but looking back I believe we got hurt close to the worst.  Most teams it's like who is that guy.

We need one badly. Our running game ain’t all on the RBs but it’s part of the problem. Even when we do get a solid carry they are normally bought down from the guys behind them not the guys in front.

Singletary got great vision but he’s got no burst to take advantage of it

He has great burst.  He lacks top end speed.

I think people are slowly realizing this isn’t our year...

Yup at 4-2 with only 10 games to go it's impossible for us to improve It's not like we didn't have a full off-season.  Just real discouraging to be eliminated from playoff contention after six weeks and a 67% win rate.😉

He's just not a good enough blocker to have this type of catching issue. I would be more patient with him, if he was getting in guys way or adding extra protection but he might be worse at blocking than he is at catching the football.

Regardless of how you look at it.  He's fast and the D has to account for him.  They aren't gonna say "oh just leave him open, he will drop it".  Going off of last season he does need to improve his blocking. We really haven't seen much of him this year to give an honest evaluation of how much he has improved IMO.

No they aren't.  See my other post for an explanation.  Some people tend to jump the gun on this stuff, especially on fan boards.

An occassional angry run doesn't make up for stone hands. Besides he's really a mediocre blocker. Even Jack's grandson was a better receiver. Knox will be replaced next year.

He had more highlights than just a few angry runs.

Fitz will make a great QB coach and maybe OC some day.  He has said that when he pictures himself playing QB it's always in a Bills uniform; he had his best years here.  Would be great if he came back and settled here and worked for the Bills in some coaching capacity.

Related - there's a lot of talk about Daboll leaving the Bills to be a HC someday soon.  But the thing is, he is FROM Buffalo and is a life long Bills fan.  When he got to return home and settle here and got this job he said this is his dream job.  Maybe he stays put?

His dream job: Half the fans want him fired and the other half are afraid he will leave to be a HC Lol.  I do think he likes it in Buffalo.

    1 minute ago, JohnNord said:

As an OC there’s no doubt that he’ll stay in Buffalo as long as he can.

But the ultimate goal for any NFL coach is to become a HC.  There’s only 32 spots.  If Daboll gets a chance to become a head coach, he will take it.  I don’t see him turning down HC offers so he can stay home.

    Wade Phillips.

Just go through watching the NYUP podcast with guest Tim Graham.  I found one tidbit really interesting.  Graham said that the Bills looked into signing Ryan Fitzpatrick or Josh McCown in the 2018 offseason as a “placeholder QB” or mentor. I believe that both re-signed with their teams before FA started, which would seem to be the reason why they eventually went with the plan B of AJ McCarron.

It’s fascinating to think about what could have been with a Fitzpatrick led Bills team in 2018.  I don’t see the team winning much more than they did, but the year definitely would have been fun.  It also makes you wonder what happens with Josh and to a lesser extent with Nathan Peterman as a developmental backup.   Does learning from Fitzpatrick make them better QB’s?  Does Fitz get the best out of guys like Kelvin Benjamin, Zay Jones and even a Robert Foster?

Would Josh sit the whole year or would the Bills have another Tua situation on their hands? It’s interesting to think what could’ve happened.

I think Josh got the best out of Robert Foster.  It was just a short time span.  I would have liked to see Fitz with Watkins, Woods, Goodwin and Hogan.

    And the #4 defense.

Bills will win the next two and split with Seattle and AZ.  Seattle's defense is trash and even though they play very well on the East coast they still need to travel.  AZ is up and down too.  I honesty think 4-0 is even more likely then 2-2.  I just don't see them losing to either the Jets or the Pats.  They will turn it around. They are a wounded and embarrassed team right now. That is a dangerous thing in the NFL.

Being wounded and embarrassed didn't work for us last week but I guess eventually they gotta get it together.

don't see them beating seattle and you would normally check the pats game as a loss but they may have a small chance in winning that game. arizona is a toss up and will depend on what defense shows up, that really speaks for all four games. the jets game and automatic win? not in this league.

I'm going to give them the jets, the other three, at his point, I wont mark as a W.

    1-3

I know that tends to bother some of the fans wearing blinders and there are quite a few out there who have believed this team was winning 12 games and making the post season before the season started and have yet to change that outlook based off the hot start. but the last two games should of even brought some of them back down to reality.

Sounds like you're no firm tree.😁

I think we beat the Best.  Have a close call against NE.  Lose a close one to Seattle and all the sudden the D plays like it should in Arizona leaving us scratching our heads as in the past but happy.

And New England.  If things keep going as they have been going, NE is going to need to beat us twice most likely.

    Those are 2 game swings x 2.

The division battle is going to ride on those NE games, and now that Cam is back, and the coaching of both teams being what it is, I think both games will be enormously difficult wins, if they are wins at all.

Yup 871 yards 2TDs and 4 Ints is very scary...for Patriots fans.

With the schedule as it was I would have been thrilled with 4-2 in the beginning of the season.     It is way too early to panic but something does need to be done about the front seven.   It is possible to still support the team and see them as a playoff contender and at the same time still be worried about a potential glaring hole that could damage the season if not addressed.

Isn't it amazing that people who picked us to be 9-7 are upset because we are 4-2.  Lol some sports fans really amaze me.

Compare him to the rest of the league now not the Bills ineptitude of the last 20 years.

Ok he went to the playoffs two out of the last three years with Tyrod Taylor and a second year Rookie QB that was very raw.  How many of the other coaches have done that the last 3 years.

McDermott will never be more than a mediocre coach, he is already severly outclassed by the likes of Vrabel and many other first time young HC's.

Oliver is playing with a leg still likely not 100%, heard this was the first game without a knee brace.

Doubt Edmunds shoulder is OK.  Won't be surprised if a couple weeks after the season ends, you hear he's having surgery one it.  Likely one of these injuries that playing on it won't make it worse, but basically he's playing with one arm.

Milano missed three complete games and didn't finish two others, played a total of a little over two whole games.

Norman and Wallace have both been active and healthy for about ten minutes this year.

H Phillips is about one full year beyond ACL injury

By my account we've lost 5 games by starters on defense and 4 on offense.  Did we lose nine games of starters to injury all of last season total?

Many teams have lost players to injury,  or even didn't bring back many starters from last season, where as we did, think it was 18 starters total.   So why in particular on the defensive side are we playing so bad, injuries and don't think this team has much depth there to overcome.

In the past Beane has been given great credit for finding gems like a Jordan Phillips, this year excluding Williams the tackle, Beane's luck may have run out in that regard.

We were very healthy last season.
