  1. Everyone keeps wondering which QB to take, which one is the best in the draft.  Everyone needs to realize that sometimes it's not about who was better in college, who was better at the combine, or who was better at pro-day and pre draft visits.  We just need to get the guy that's best for our system.  There are many top rated QBs that went to terrible systems and failed miserably.  Yes, Baker is the guy I really want more than any other QB in this draft class.  But at this point, I don't care who we get, as long as we get our guy who fits our system the best and can produce.  I trust that we'll make this happen.  April 26, hurry up and get here already.  GO BILLS!!!!

  2. I have been saying this since day 1.  I would love to see our first two picks being used on a QB and a receiver.  Bottom line, we need to score points.  If we stay put at 12, QBs will fall, and I think Mayfield will fall right into our laps.  I honestly don't think we need to trade up.  If Giants take a QB, then yes, we may need to make a move.  But I truly think that out of the 11 picks before us, only the Browns and Jets will be taking a QB.

That’s a great point and I hadn’t thought about that. We are finally getting some guys who want to be part of what we are doing.

Maybe it’s the Shady effect too, but people see the culture changing and we feel it too.

    It’s a nice change

And when players really want to play for this organization, they usually exceed expectations.  How much longer do we have to wait for August/September to get here...haha

To be clear, and maybe I wasn’t, I really like the kid.

But if the plan is to help along a rookie, he’s probably the least experienced of the FA’s

agreed.  but he has sat behind a QB with a winning record for the last few years and he's not broken like Bradford or Bridgewater.  And we didn't cave in on the Hype of the overpriced/overrated Cousins or Keenum.  Shoot, Tyrod was more inexperienced than AJ, and yes, we all know how that turned out.  But that's because he was afraid to take chances.

1 -  Agreed on doubtful, but still intruiging

2 - Not worried in the grand scheme, hence why I said so far

4 - There's not enough to really know what we are getting is all I'm saying.  Don't be so literal

4 - I'll be literal.  In addition to a few regular season starts, AJ has started a playoff game.  In that game, he had them in the lead against the Steelers, but eventually lost because of a fumble by Jeremy Hill within the final minute.  Should've been their first playoff win since 1990.  He definitely has potential and i'm excited to have him.

  6. I'm really happy that we didn't go out and throw money at one of the other overpaid free agent QBs.  Very smart move on our part.  Also love that we're addressing needs on defense in FA.  Now let's build the offense and put up some dang points on the scoreboard!!!  GO BILLS!!!!

Why.....getting a new QB, high draft picks to get top rookies.....?

Just setting my expectations low and generally, rookies aren't expected much production the first year.  Take Tre White for example.  He was not expected to do as well as he did.  Hopefully the rookies we attain this year will be as successful as him.

  8. Good morning/evening Fans!!!  I've been following these threads for years now and decided to finally jump on. I just wanna say how much I appreciate every Bills fan around the world and how I envy those from the Buffalo area. Currently stationed in Okinawa, I've never been to Buffalo in my life, but have seen a ton of away games during my years of traveling. And I tell you what, every away game I've been to, it seems like there's more Buffalo fans than the opposing team and I love it. Every duty station I've been to, I've met Bills fans who keep telling me i need to travel to Buffalo and catch a home game, "there's nothing like it."  I just can't wait to get back to the states. Waking up at 3 in the morning to catch every game is rough. I'm just glad this last season was worth the loss of sleep.

Lastly, I just want to point out that I love what the Bills are doing this offseason.  I do think we'll regress this year, but we are definitely setting ourselves up for the future.  I do trust the process by our leadership.  GO BILLS!!!!!!!!!

So the stupid draft is still two freaking months away and then another two YEARS minimum until we really know who the right qb's are to draft.   My time machine progress is still slow (hint:  it's not 1.21 Jigawatts, I already tried)   you guys will know when I get this thing to work because we'll draft 7 pro bowlers every year.

But seriously, there are some years (like the EJ/Geno Smith year) where the entire nation can't produce ONE single decent NFL qb, and then there are years like this which has potential to put three or more future franchise guys into the league.  The odds are probably a few of these dudes flame out completely, a few of them become like Carr or Tannehill decent players, and maybe one or two become stars.

I'm scared of too short and not accurate enough--the two things that coaching can't fix.

And as much as I love Tyrod's magic feet, I want a pocket guy not a scrambler.

Can't we just roll the dice on Teddy Bridge's knee and stay put with two studs at 21/22?

He's years ahead of any rookie between the ears, he can sling it, he's 6'3 with a lifetime qb rating in the high 80's.   65% completion rate.

Get the kid a knee brace and let's get him in camp baby!  We learned from Thurman that knees can heal just fine.

I agree!!!  But at the same time, I don't wanna miss out on a possible homerun with one of these QBs.  I fear that we missed on Mahomes.  I think he's gonna do great things.  I would not be opposed to bringing in Bridgewater on a one-year prove yourself deal and drafting a QB.  I wouldn't mind Jackson, but could potentially be TT 2.0

Always? lol apparently you have forgotten about them havig something like 2 wining seasons in 40 years before drew Brees lol.....the only real positive that organization has had is brees.

My fault everyone.  you're absolutely correct that the Saints defense hasn't been established or the greatest.  Just like everyone on here, my passion for the Bills is through the roof.  I just wanna point out the Lattimore was expected to produce right away, while Tre wasn't.  So the fact that Tre completely exceeded expectations should rank him higher.  Sorry everyone, still a little bitter that he wasn't DROY.

The Saints had one of the worst defenses in history, added Lattimore and became Super Bowl contenders. It is no slight to Buffalo at all. Tre had a great year, Lattimore might be the best CB in football. Both of those statements can be true (and are). Tre White as a top 10 CB in football isn’t a slap in the face; it is a sign of respect.

I would say they became SB contenders because of Kamara, not Lattimore.

Bro trust me, I'm all aboard the QB train at this point, hell I was before this past season.

I'm just saying I'm good with a RB in the second though if a stud is there.

My point is, if the BPA is a RB who drastically outclasses the available position hole in the second, take the RB.

    Don't overreach for a hole-filling player .

    That's all I'm saying :)

    Couldn't agree more!
