Good call!  Those 3 teams are the exact ones that came to my mind when I read the post.  Tannehill may be seasoned, but he's definitely not worthy enough to take his team to the playoffs.  If Bradford can actually stay healthy, then we can cross Arizona off this list.  But we all know that he can't even make it to the halfway point of any season, and then they'll be left with the overrated cockiness of Rosen.  And good gosh, Bortles is just not good at all.  I hope he spreads out his paycheck to his defense, because they deserve all the credit for him still being their starter.

Which time are you talking about, ej the projected 3rd rounder reached for,

or jp ... screwing up 2 times in 20 ish yrs WOW

had enough of the dumpster diving technique trying to get a qb.

Oh, i almost forgot. I expect a super bowl, what else?

Because you're not thinking outside the box, let me paint the picture for you.  When I said that we've screwed this up so many times, i'm not talking about the QBs we did take.  I'm talking about the ones we had chances to take but went a different direction.  Over the years, we could've taken guys like Dak, Mahomes, Deshaun, Teddy Bridgewater, Derek Carr, Jimmy G, Russell Wilson, Kirk Cousins.  And let's not forget that we had an opportunity to draft Aaron freaking Rodgers.  But we dealt away our 1st rounder that year.  So yes, we made mistakes.  Now these mistakes are unpredictable, but could've been avoided.  As much as I love Tre White, I think we could've been a lot better if we would've drafted Watson last year.

Or so say the wizards at Bleacher Report

    Buffalo Bills

The football gods finally smiled upon the Bills, allowing them to make the playoffs for the first time since the 1999 season. A repeat appearance likely isn't in the cards this year, though. AJ McCarron is not an upgrade over Tyrod Taylor at quarterback, and the offensive line remains in flux. LeSean McCoy turns 30 in July, while the team's leading tackler, Preston Brown, signed with the Bengals in free agency. The schedule-makers didn't do the Bills any favors, either, by placing the Chargers, Vikings, Packers and Titans—all of whom are playoff contendersin Weeks 2-5.

    Prediction: 7-9

I completely disagree with your thoughts on AJ not being an upgrade over Tyrod.  Do you not have any recollection of how AJ performed when he had to step in for Andy Dalton.  Let's not forget that he has as many playoff starts as Tyrod.  IMO, he should've been the starter in Cincy.  I just honestly think that Cincy invested too much into Dalton, which is why they won't move on from him.  Mark my words that I think we're gonna be faced with a good QB problem after this next season.  We're gonna draft a QB that could be the future of Buffalo next week, but I also have a feeling that AJ is gonna show us a lot more than we anticipated and maybe he could be the QB we've been waiting for.  And yes, the schedule seems unfavorable because of the playoff contenders that we have to face, but don't forget, they have to play a playoff contender in us as well.  There's too many unknowns, which people over analyze and it causes them to be negative.  "Come on Man!"  Be positive.  The Bills are gonna be a team that teams don't wanna play!  #GOBILLS!!!

  4. I completely disagree.  nobody knew that those QBs you mentioned were gonna be as good as they became.  Nobody steps up to the podium and says "with the first pick in the NFL draft the.......select, future hall of famer........".  Nobody truly knows how a player is gonna pan out.  They were exactly like this draft class.  They all had potential to be great QBs, which they were.  The fact is that you truly don't know until you see them play for a few years.  And now the same goes for this class.  At least 4-5 of them have the potential to be great QBs.  But we won't know until years to come.  I for one am excited to see how many of these QBs thrive in the NFL.

Cry me a river.  IMO, missing on Allen and Darnold is no great loss, and I like Mayfield better than any of those three.  Even Jackson would be acceptable at 12 or 22.

Besides, it's not like I have any control of anything.

So glad to see that someone else is on the same page as me.  I would be ecstatic if we got either Mayfield or Jackson.

The cardinals are more q.b. needy then the broncos? And how aren’t the broncos in that first group?

Absolutely!  We all know Bradford is gonna get hurt.  And I have a feeling that the Broncos don't see Keenum as a one hit wonder.  They saw what he can do when he's on a team with a good defense.  Now, the Broncos have him and again, Keenum is surrounded by another good defense.  I don't see the Broncos taking a QB in the first round.  Maybe the 2nd round.

    I'll take a shot ...

The 4 must drafts are the Browns / Jets / Bills / Cardinals

    Next 7 are Saints / Steelers / Dolphins / Broncos / Giants / Chargers / Ravens

Last 4 are Patriots / Colts /  Packers / Redskins

    How'd I do ?

I agree with you 100%.  As soon as I saw the question, the top 4 in my mind were Browns, Jet, Bills, and Cards.  If this all holds true, I think we'll be just fine with whatever QB we land at 12.  By the time we're on the clock, I firmly believe that only 2 QBs will be off the board.  Like most on here, my top 3 QBs are Darnold, Mayfield, and Rosen (in that order).  So i'd be fine with either one.

Just saying I legit seen Nathan Peterson on this board a few times. Not that it bothers me. Just came to confirm that.

That would drive me crazy as well, cuz that's a complete misspell.  I just got 2 letters backwards.

gotta be Stevie Johnson ... 3 consecutive 1000 yard seasons with us .... then nothing.

Stevie was traded to the 49ers once we drafted Sammie.

I swear the same people who always spell his name incorrectly are the same ones who say "Martavius" Bryant and Nathan "Peterson."

Didn't know we had people on here that need to be so grammatically correct.  I guess you had no idea who I was talking about when I spelled it "Jarius."  lol.  I don't care how the spelling is.  i'm just glad we let him go.

  10. if he hands down produces like a franchise QB this next season, I would want to keep him as such.  I think I speak for everyone when I say that i'm tired of passing on a franchise QB every season.  If we got him for a steal and winds up being our man, then so be it. I just hope he doesn't become another Fitz, where he looks great for a few games, gets paid, and then falls flat on his face.
