  1. This isn't even arguable.  I can't stand when people make these stupid comparisons.  In theory, these comparisons cannot be argued because of different eras.  Rules were different.  We can say that Brady was the greatest during his time, or that Kelly was the greatest during his era, but the greatest of all time statement is completely bogus.  and that's across the entire spectrum of all sports.  Reality is that who knows how good Brady would've been in a different era or any QB for that matter.  Next time, ask a more realistic question like, who's the best QB now, or who was the best during this decade.

1 good pre-season game and jumping a bust on the depth chart is a nice way to start a season but there is a long way to go before Chad becomes a starter, let alone before he is the next Tom Brady. I do agree though that the Bills should have drafted him, I would much rather have had Chad than Peterman on the roster.

Yes, Tom Brady is exactly who comes to mind after watching Kelly play one pre-season game against third and fourth team guys.

Funny, but I think I saw one of those running around New Era last Thursday, in the second half, wearing a blue uniform.

Just for the record, I understand it's just one preseason game.  I did not mention that he would be the next Tom Brady.  I'm simply saying that this has the opportunity to wind up like a story such as Tom Brady.

    Going up

Buffalo Bills fan morale: After a rough offseason stuffed with criticism for Buffalo's lackluster moves on offense, the preseason opener had to be soothing. Allen wasn't the only Bills draft pick to catch my eye, with third-round defensive tackle Harrison Phillips building on a big camp with a sack. He looks headed for starter snaps. 2016 first-round pick Shaq Lawson looks like a different player with 20 pounds off.

Last year's solid defense looks deeper at every level, especially with rookie middle linebacker Tremaine Edmunds running the show. Most importantly, the Bills' offense already looks more diverse schematically under new coordinator Brian Daboll than it was a year ago. Nathan Peterman and AJ McCarron both moved the ball well and found open receivers. Contract-year receiver Kelvin Benjamin might be ready to roll, making a few terrific plays in the opener. None of this changes the uphill battle the offense faces, but it's worth remembering that this coaching staff did a nice job maximizing its players' strengths on defense a year ago. Perhaps the offense won't have to do that much.

Well my morale has definitely gone up after the first preseason game.  This hands down looks like a team we haven't seen in a very long time.  Our offense looks like they will be exceeding many expectations.  I'm getting very antsy for the regular season to start.  GO BILLS!!!

Where are you? How many hours ahead/behind are you? Just being a time zone or two off makes things....weird. Not bad, but .....weird. To me at least. You get used to almost anything I’ve found.

Okinawa.  13 hours ahead.  So yes, I gotta get up at 2 in the morning when football season starts.  Definitely worth it when we win.
