Did they also ignore the face mask on atlanta?
Or do you only see things one way?
And they got sacked, then the holding penalty. Not the other way around.
Nope you are wrong, they were around the 25 yard line, they through a pass out to the left. As the receiver was being tackled out of bounds he was pulled by his face mask , they replayed it and the announcers commented on it, on this play they were called for holding The next play he was sacked as they were trying to get back into field goal range. Go watch it again before you try and say the pats were not aided once again...

Not really the same situation. Atlanta should have been conservative because they were in FG range with 3 minutes left already up 8. They chose to pass and got sacked and penalties taking them out of fg range.
It's amazing to me how many coaches don't understand clock and game management.
They got screwed, they got called got holding, but the refs ignored the face mask on New England. This moved them back 10, then they got sacked taking them out of field goal range, basically gave the game to the pats. It was pure bs...

No, I saw that too. The Pats defender wasn't holding the Eagle WR. The pass bounced off the Eagle WR. That was pure luck for the Pats.
The side angle showed him holding his arm back, made him go for the ball with one hand, watch It again...

I hate the Pats as much as anyone, but the Gilmore play in the end zone wasn't PI, close, but not quite. The Pats receiver got assaulted by the Philly DB. I really don't think the refs will throw the SB.
The interference on the 5 yard line that led to the interception he held his left arm it caused him to bat it up with his right hand, if you didn’t see that, your blind...

Honestly, I think the game has been called fair. For the most part, they're letting the guys play.
I don't think the Pats will be given the game. Hope I'm not proven wrong.
Nope, they ignore the PI on Gilmore which caused the interception. Then the borderline holding Call to extend the drive, while pats have gotten away with murder in the end zone. The refs rarely make it obvious, it’s death by 1000 cuts...

That's not how officials rule though. I completely agree, let the play play out. But that's not just the Pats games to the Pats benefit they do that, it's routinely an issue all around the league.
No matter how you look at it, it was the wrong call, chances are if the situation was reversed, they would have never blown it dead if the pats were the ones who recovered it.

Keep repeating it, but I just gave you three games 3 games THIS SEASON that they won because of officiating. Two on the last meaningful play of the game.
Jets game also.,.

Who cares. This happens all the time, the qb and/or coaches run around calling for it to be reset.
You said you'd delete it if it was old or fake news. This is old fake news. Delete it.
How do they lose to the jaguars if not for officiating? The Steelers call was the correct call.
Because for no reason they called the fumble recovery dead. Score would have been 27-10. When you have replay your not supposed to blow the whistle and let the play finish out. Changed the whole Dynamics of the game, that’s how...

I'm not "worshiping."
I just want to know, from an unbiased standpoint, how people feel in comparison to Jordan. Seriously, we can be mature about this, even on a Bills board.
There are tons of non-Bills related posts every day discussing various topics. This is no worse. That very well could be true, but in terms of accomplishments what is your opinion?
Jordan didn’t have to cheat to win his championships....

If the hands are on the inside, it is never called. If it was, holding would be called on an offensive lineman on quite literally every play from scrimmage in every nfl game over the past quarter century. Come on.
Not true once the player brakes free and is past the blocker, he has to release, this did not happen here...

That's the brilliance of it. One back-breaking call is, sometimes, all that is needed.
There was no reason for the ref to whistle the play dead during the fumble recovery. That's something you allow to be reviewed, not being 100% certain if...
A) A fumble actually took place
B) The player who recovered the fumble was down by contact.
Yep, they stopped it from being 27-10. Ignore a holding call here or there, extend drives because of it, ignore a PI and end a drive. Subtle little differences that add up. Last year on what would have been the game ending drive for the Falcons, they call holding on the Falcons but ignore the more than obvious face mask on the Patriots. The next play Ryan gets sacked and puts them out of field goal range. Those three Points would have put the game out of reach. Nobody talks about it, the officiating gave the pats the comeback.
On the fumble absolutely no reason to blow the whistle, none at all when you have replay to fix it. I don’t have an explanation, I can’t believe there is an order from above telling refs to help them. Sooner or later someone would talk, but what explains all these calls that go their way???

Bad day?
Only truth is being said, looks like you can't handle the truth man. They proved once again they are the best of the best . Down 10 with a quarter to go , that offense put on a clinic.
Jacksonville could have started by converting a 3rd down or stopping a 3rd and 18 .
I'm done hating on them. They earned a SB berth, deal with it
They proved that if the refs blow the ball dead on a fumble they can stop the Pats from going down 27-10. They also proved they can score when the refs don’t call PI against them on third down for the Jags, so there’s that....

so there was 6 penalties against 1, that's not sure a huge difference. Take out the one PI and the yardage isn't so orders of magnitude different either.
Someone commented, "Why would anyone want to watch this SB when it is so clearly rigged."
I'm sure there are many as this thread shows who feel that way. So as was also mentioned, why would the NFL then rig it for the Pats to win when so many people feel this way and won't now watch. Yes there are many Pat's fans out there, (love to compare the number today to 20 years ago when they would lose every year) but there are still many many more non Pats' fans out there.
If you take out the pass interference, they never score a first half touchdown....

I keep hearing about this disparity in penalties.
Is is there any chance they get less penalties because they’re a more disciplined team which then helps them win, rather than the opposite? The opposite which would be the biggest conspiracy in the history of all of sports and no one has said a word?
Im rooting for the Eagles, no doubt, but the Pats are an excellent franchise - arguably the best in the history of sports.
But I’m sure dozens of officials are in a grand conspiracy to have them win. Ridiculous.
No chance, they are considered so good, they let it go. Why blow the whistle when the fumble is going to be run back for a TD? Why not call Pi on the pats, on the third down play that would have extended the drive before the pats final score? Why did they get 3 victory’s from replay review that should not have happened? It’s Michael Jordon Lebron James syndrome, if you are considered great, they turn their heads the other way. Happens in all sports...

Thanks for your valuable contribution to this thread
Your contributing has been crap, as others have said if you don’t understand how his injury affected his ability to catch the ball, you have the brains of a slab of Back bacon. Next year will be a better indicator of his ability’s and if you can’t figure that out I guess you will keep trolling your poor opinions. What value is that to the board?

You can’t re adjust your grip when the ball is on the ground and this is exactly what happens, for a split second both hands leave the ball and re adjust the grip.
