If I'm beane and get the slightest hint peterman might start I cut him and force McDermott to play Anderson ala billy beane in moneyball style
-
McDermott can't possibly be dumb enough to start peterman a third time could he?
-
This defense is incredible. Its getting up towards the level the Jim Swartz defense was playing at.
Also while the bills offense is boring to watch, its been a lot of fun watching the bills defense the past couple weeks

I'm willing to give this regime this off season to rebuild the offense. They have a ton of cap and a ton of draft picks.
They have this defense humming, give them time to get the offense up to speed.
With that said the complete mis management of the offense is a huge red flag. How the quarterbacks alone were handled is a disgrace. Who ever made the choice of peterman over maccaron needs to have their say revoked when talking offense.

If Anderson starts because Allen is injured, and Peterman is gone, then who's the backup?
Logan Thomas of course

Doesn't even make any sense. We are 2-4 now?
Yeah, hence "not much difference"
My wording might not be the greatest
-
Record wise we would be 2-4 or 3-3. Not much difference. Play wise we'd probably look more like an nfl team on offense
-
I cant be the only one that thinks jerry is just congratulating himself and the defense and talking about houstons offense running the same play since monday

They're not going to cut him until they know what's going on with Allen.
You're right, but lets be honest if he has to play again whats the difference between a guy off the street and Peterman?
-
Peterman has to be cut Monday. The guy can't hack it. If he is awesome in the film room hire him as a coach. But never let the guy play another down for the bills again
-
In the report they also made it sound like beane expects to get calls on mccoy from other teams. So it sounds like he is trying to get a bidding war going
-
Has had trobule with drops I believe but a huge upgrade over anything we have
-
Does trading mccoy hurt Allen's development? His best game was the one McCoy missed.
As strange as it may sound trading shady takes Allen's and daboll crutch away, maybe it would force other players to step up/game plan better
I'm just trying to convince myself the bills offense won't get worse without shady, its tough

I think Shady gets moved. And not sure how the team will react to that? Hard to think anyone would take it as a positive move. Other than Allen who is unproven, the Bills would literally have anonymous offensive personnel. Its almost unheard of for an NFL team.
How the team and mccoy handled the press conferences yesterday seemed as if a trade was looming.
It also sounded like we are gonna deliver this trade news at 4pm on a friday

Yeah. The fact that most of the public money is going on the Bills and what seems like a high line is actually going UP strikes me as fishy.
In general, these games don't go well for the dog. However, I'd be on the other side of the counter if there was such a thing as a guarantee.
I just don't see how we're gonna score.
Allen is over due to hit a deep ball for a td and with how many turnovers the defense has forced the past few games they're due for a td too. That's how they will score

There's something fishy about that line. I have no idea why it's so high, and I suspect most will take the Bills. As a guy who's worked in a book for over a decade, I don't like what it portends for us.
We shall see.
It is fishy especially when the majority of the bets and money are on the bills, and the line hasn't moved.
However I've found that weeks 4 thru 6 you can find some really good underdog picks gambling each year and I'd like to think the bills are one of those games haha

What he said. I took ML every game last three weeks. Min was 10:1 odds, GB lost, Titans 2.6:1. Do the math and see where you wanna fall.
ML all day baby!
Vegas is hating the bills right now. Some big casinos not even offering a money line bet
The bills and 10 points is the bet in my opinion.
Game will be similar to the green bay game except the bills will take points any chance they ( no Allen heaves at the end of a half) and Watson is more prone to mistakes (sacks) than Rodgers

If the giants win tonight, by golly the eagles have bigger issues than an rb

I think there is a chance if the bills win the next 2 with Allen looking like he did in green bay and then get smoked against the pats I could see them roll with Anderson against the bears.
I really dont think Anderson starts but I would say he plays in games to provide a "spark" if Allen is struggling
-
Texans 26
Bills 3
The bills defense always seems to struggle with tall speedy wr's and the Texans have 2.
Key for the bills to win, take the crowd out of the game early and they will have a chance
-
Derek Anderson signing could be as much about helping guide daboll as it is Allen.
It also puts a guy McDermott knows and probably trusts to get a feel for how the offense thinks about daboll
The team seems to want to use Allen like Carolina uses Newton. This is where anderson can help

Beane and McDermott might also want to see how Ivory does with 12+ carries too. See if he can have another strong game.
I think Ivory can handle 12 + carries, he used to do it often earlier in his career.
The more I think about it the more I think shady gets traded. I could see shady traded then beane trades for another rb.

Josina Anderson was just on ESPN saying that from what she's hearing, it sounds like the Eagles plan to get past their Thursday night game this week and then they'll turn their attention to pursuing McCoy.
The trade could come down to how philly's rbs perform Thursday and if the bills win Sunday.
If philly's rbs play poorly they will be more willing to pay the price asked. However the price may go up or down based on the bills outcome

not a lot for a team that is talented enough to win another SB or 2
True. But id imagine a guy like Bell would come cheaper and on a 1 year deal
I also happen to believe both Clement and Smallwood(not to mention sproles) are a solid stable of rbs
If Philly does make this trade I wonder if it says more about the organizations faith in where wentz's recovery is, as you get a mccoy he becomes the focal point of your offense

The survey guy was also a doctor and started talking about how peterman has a pinched nerve in his neck, I was hoping Sal was gonna press on that issue a bit more
