  1. I wish incomplete was a choice.

I gave C's to both. Mostly because everything they have done off the field/ice.

And the fact that after a couple rocky first handful of seasons they seem to be settling in as owners as well as finally finding the right people to run each organization in my opinion.

They are great owners to have. They are learning as they go. They will only become better

  2. Any chance he is on the roster then once practice squads are filled up by other teams he is cut and place on our practice squad easier?

Seems odd he made the team to me. Although coaches raved about his separation and speed. Tre white even singled him out as one of the better wr's he had been competeing against. So maybe I shouldn't be surprised

This is a situation that fell into their laps though making it easier. A better punter is released by his former team, Bill's have a connection to him through their kicker and an opening cause of an injury to their 2nd punter so they call him up and sign him to come in and try to win the job. If he didnt just get cut they probably stick with schmidt and bring in an extra leg for the last 2 games. Instead a potential upgrade fell into their laps.

Other positions are not as easy because a good player coming available, that also fits your scheme, is less likely to happen and not come with additional teams also in play for them. How many teams are looking for and short punters this week?

They may have been interested drafting him later then he went if he was available, bit did not feel that a punter was a high enough priority cause Schmidt was good enough. This situation fell into their lap and they went for it because they feel he may be an upgrade to what they have, but still feel comfortable with who they have if he doesnt work out

Wasnt Ryan Hauschkas holder when they played together in Seattle a few years ago? I would say theres much of an advantage for Schmidt anymore then....

That's what I was saying. That Schmidt's advantage over other punters isn't there when competing with Ryan

....doubt it would happen, and I'm not sure if I would favor it, so here goes with the hypothetical.....pretty much a well discussed given that the offense stalled out early on versus Cleveland....if, IF the Ravens game was very similar with Peterman at the helm, would you as HC pick up the bullpen phone and summon Allen?.....good move?.. bad move?.. risky move this early on?... a Peterman confidence shaker?......thoughts?........

You would have to make that move. It would be similar to the texans last year with tom savage.

Regarding a peterman confidence shaker, after the chargers game last year I wouldnt worry about it

Josh Allen obviously has a stronger arm based on tests done. He has one of the strongest arms ever.

But those videos trying to show the differnece are a joke.

The one where Peterman is throwing the defender is only 3 yards away from the receiver when the ball is starting to be thrown. The defender is already moving forward in his break towards the ball too.

The one where Allen is throwing the defender is 5 yards away from the receiver when the ball is starting to be thrown. The defender is not moving forward in his break yet. He was moving backwards and needed to plant his feet before moving forward.

You could also argue that the defender is closer to the wr's and break faster with peterman at qb because of the lack of arm strength or lack of respect to be beaten deep

How is Wallace and Bush late cheap shot on Mayfield any better?

This play is why preseason is dangerous.

You have 2 players trying to solidify a spot on an NFL roster. They will be playing hard to the whistle maybe just after the whistle too.

Is it a flag, of course but was it dirty? I don't think it was. They led with the shoulders and didn't seem to target his head. Was it late, yes. But like I said before that's what you're getting with preseason football.

On Landry, he plays hard I wish a safety  would lay him out with a big block like he does to safety's and corners

    LOL

I think its a valid concern. Part of a young qb starting is having without a shadow of a doubt the support of his team mates. Can't have guys second guessing a back up would give the team a better chance

    Just from this game:

Benjamin seemed upset about the first few plays.- the first pass then the time out

Hyde was interviewed right before half time or right after and didn't seem too sure of him

It's Allen's turn by rotation next week anyway.

    I hope so
