I have always thought that they should make the division opponents stay the same. You play them twice but instead of playing one whole other division in your conference, each team depending on where they finish would play either the top two teams or bottom two teams in each of the other divisions. So, for instance, the Bills finished 2nd in the AFC East so they would play the top two teams in each of the North, South and West Divisions. The bottom two teams like the Jets and Dolphins would play the bottom two teams in each of the North South and West divisions.

As far as NFC opponents, instead of playing one whole NFC division like they do now, do pretty much the same thing as with the AFC conference. Only instead of the top two teams in each division of the NFC, each team would just play the same place finisher in each NFC division. So, the Bills being in 2nd place in the AFC East eould play the 2nd place Finisher in each of the NFC East, North, South and West. This would make the schedule much more interesting and more even in my opinion

But then, you may never see the bills play certain teams for even longer then they have in between now. Its nice to know, the cowboys are coming to Buffalo to play the bills in 2023. I think they used to do your idea before, and there were some teams that never traveled to certain cities for decades. The current rotation is simple and organized.

  2. Way to simple and unrealistic. Somebody suggested the best way to handle the 17th game, Is to play one team from the inter-conference division you played last year. Based on divisional standings. So if it went into effect this year (which it wont) we would play the cowboys again. I like this better.

He needs to agree quickly before T*m Br*dy retires and is given slot.  He can do two slots for ESPN - announcer and rules expert for anyone able to get calls like he does must know nuances of every rule.

What scares me, is the idea of Brady doing commentary on CBS. The best games the bills ever have, will have him discussing it..... He can do commentary on ESPN, i dont have cable, so ill never have to listen to him.

Wade had never played  football.....yes, he seems to be able to run...but a year to learn the game on the sidelines was rright for him.  Any notion he should have been on the field this year if way off base imho.

Im not saying christian wade should have played regular season football. Im saying that he is a prime example at how dumb preseason football is.

What type of pepperoni do you have. Margherita  pepperoni is great for cupping. Pre sliced pepperoni like Hormel, won’t cup no matter what you do.

Certain pepperonis like Margherita have a casing that will cup when cooked. Look for a stick pepperoni you slice yourself. You want the slices to be about 1/8 inch thick so the slice can cup.  This cupping allows the grease to collect and, if you are like me, you love it when the edges get a little burnt.

there are a few other pepperoni that will cup. One is called Enzo. I am not sure at the grocery store which ones are available.

For cooking just put the pepperoni on last on very top when you bake the sub. They should cup up good. You can do a little pre cook on the sliced pepperoni in a cast iron skillet using olive oil or vegetable oil just to help surface not stick to pep. Then out pep on the sub. Only thing I don’t like about that approach is you lose some of the grease that natural come out the pep and soaks into the sub.

Its a wegmans brand, its not presliced. So i should have some room to work with. Im going to do some trial and error, with precooking, worried about it taking too long and burning the sub.

Preseason is of value to see marginalized player get their chance to show their skills. But mainly, a preseason game is a kiddie ride vs. the best roller coaster out there. These games can't be traded equally. So stop with the shortening of preseason games, games the stars may skip entirely. Jeez.....

The fact that Christian Wade played the way he did in the preseason, and still never saw the field in the regular season, proves the preseason is a complete waste of time when it comes to evaluating talent.

A big F.U. to Goodell?  Not really. But expect a stadium announcement within 9 months. They will need two years to do whatever they are planning for 2023, when the lease expires.

Greg Brandon is better at writing letters then id be. I would just say, "Hey Mark, just wanted to give you a heads up, we are staying in New Era Field for 3 more years. Have a great weekend!"

Seasons with only one week between conference/league championship games and the SB:

1969 - SB IV - Kansas City vs. Minnesota

1982 - SB XVII - Washington vs. Miami (9-game strike-shortened season; SB was originally to have been two weeks after conference championship games)

1990 - SB XXV - NY Giants vs. Buffalo

1993 - SB XXVIII - Dallas vs. Buffalo

1999 - SB XXXIV - St. Louis vs.  Tennessee

2000 - SB XXXV - Baltimore vs. NY Giants

2002 - SB XXXVII - Tampa Bay vs. Oakland

2010 - SB XLV - Green Bay vs. Pittsburgh

SB XLV had 2 weeks between the championship games, and the super bowl. It was the first year the pro bowl was moved to the week in between.
