  1. It was weird being on the other side of him actively rooting for the underdog. He is still the best of the network A teams.

Its clear Al michaels has no chemistry with the color guy on Amazon, so next week should be interesting.

I do realize that but please explain to me what good this Defense has done in 4-5 games.

Even with a ton of injuries. They still let up no more the 22 points a game the entire season. I wish they were better at opposing time of possesion, but points matter more.

Being up 8 > being up 7. You could use this logic to always go for 2 point conversions and 4th down attempts. Practically the game doesn't work that way. Stack points and worry about being aggressive when it becomes necessary.

This Bills had a 15 point lead at the 2 minute warning. The Bills defense played in such a way that by the time the browns scored a TD, there was 19 seconds left on the clock. Even if the browns recovered the onside kick, they still needed to march down the field about 60 yards. With no time outs, with Jacoby Brissett as QB, and get a 2 point conversion just to tie the game and send it to overtime.

The Bills won the game, and they won it alot more comfortably then the score suggests.

But there is a difference. If you're up by 13 and you get one more FG drive you've put the opponent in a position where they need 2 TD drives with successful 2 point conversions just to tie the game. All these analytics based decisions seem to forget that you will get other possessions that will change the math. Case in point the Browns had an outside chance to win this game if they recovered the onside kick all because we didn't take the easy XP. It's stupid to worry about the score margin with a full 20 minutes to go. Take points while you can until you're forced to be aggressive. Football has become so needlessly complicated.

Let me know when Buffalo going for 2 in the 3rd quarter eventually costs them a game then. I prefer they keep doing what they are doing. They won by 8....

I believe, attempting to go up by 14 was the simple solution.

    3) Broader issue. I know the math said to go for 2, but in a game when you aren’t playing your best, you are playing an inferior opponent, and there is a full quarter and a half, why go for two? I would argue that you have to just keep accumulating points.

the 2-point play is at 9-minute mark here:

There is very little difference between being up by 12 vs being up by 13. Being up by 14 is a huge difference.

When the Browns see a 12 point lead or a 13 point lead, they see, 2 Field goals and TD to come back. Either lead doesn't change much for them.

When you see a 14 point lead, they see they can not afford settling for a field goal the rest of the game, and have to only go for TDs.

The strategy you are point out works in Basketball, because they have 1 point plays all by themselves. Football only has a 1 point play as a bonus after scoring a TD. So unfortunately, math wins the decision to go for two.

  6. The NFL has had the schedule rotation going for 20 years. So, only 3 away games had potential to give Buffalo a break from the cold weather. LA, Miami and Detroit. I think Bills fans have typically prefered to have Miami come here in December. My only criticism of the schedule, was I feel September games in florida, should be 4:00  start times. That would have helped a little. The bills have no more then 2 home games each month, I think thats a fairly balanced schedule....

was this not the same? I remember waiting during Covid...there were always going to be plenty of seats available code, no code, etc,....anybody look on a browns board ?

No. Each season ticket holder got a unique code. That only a small number were allowed into the ticketing at the same time. With a new group let in every 15 minutes. Eventually all 7,000 tickets were sold, but it was very restrictive. This was the same code and everybody was allowed in at the same time.

I assumed you needed the code but it could identify if you were a STH or not? I am trying to remember the Covid playoff tickets....

Covid playoff tickets, had to be purchased through your season ticket portal. And only a handful of people were allowed in every 15 minutes or something. It was a very restrictive process, but they had more time to plan for it.

I got my tickets on SeatGeek. No refund yet or any mention of any plan. What a crappy platform to buy from. Literally all their competitors have provided full refunds meanwhile these jabronis told me via chat that they are still working on a plan. You mean you didn’t have any contingencies for a storm that was forecasted 4 days prior, or for hurricanes, catastrophes, etc. give me a break.

hopefully they do the right thing and refund. But I shouldn’t have to wait this long for them to do the right thing. Don’t use SeatGeek

This should be the same procedure they use when somebody buys tickets to a game 7 of a playoff series that never happens. very weird they are acting like this is the first event cancellation they ever dealt with.

The Buffalo Bills deserve this for being cheap, stubborn and stupid not putting a dome on our stadium like Detroit in a snow belt Orchard Park. So basically once a year we are going to have a road game in Detroit because we are too cheap, stubborn and stupid because we won’t dome our stadium got it. Because Detroit was smart putting a dome on there stadium the Bills will play there once or twice a year in my opinion. Go Bills! Let’s Go Buffalo

Its been 8 years since they last had to move a game? Once or twice a year, really?

I think the Bills would have sent some type of communication out to season ticket holders at this point.

Ill see y'all at the game in Orchard Park.

Nobody knows for sure how much snow we are getting, and when it will stop falling. It all comes down to how long will it take to shovel the stadium out. We may not know anything until sunday morning.

  12. Has anybody noticed that we have the 2nd toughest strength of schedule so far, and the highest strength of victory? The only team with a tougher schedule is Detroit, and they are 3-6.

So 2nd toughest schedule in the league, and our 3 losses add up to a total of 8 points.

Cut down on turnovers sure, but i wouldnt change much else about what we are doing.
