I thought they got moved to the corner several years ago.
The corner press box is where sports writers sit. But not the live broadcasters.

And people argued about it not being prime time, when clearly prime time doesnt matter in the playoffs.

Cowboys/Bucs getting screwed. They get a short week and have to travel while SF gets an extra day rest at home.
Last year it was the rams, who played monday night and then traveled to tampa the following week. Things went ok for them in the end.

You need new bottles for each game, but don't touch the 13 seconds bottle until the Bills are touching the Lombardi trophy.

Indy. Don't like the idea of the Bills going back to Cincy quite yet.
I get the bad Mojo part, but I can't think of a more hospitable home away from home for the Bills right now, then that city.

@ExiledInIllinois Idea of the AFC Championship being played on Neutral ground in Glendale Arizona is the best possible solution in my humble opinion.
if the AFC championship is between Cincy and Buffalo, i think Pittsburgh or Cleveland are about the same distance from each city.
If its KC vs Buffalo, put it in Indy, or Cincy.

The bills were willing to practice today. 1 week is alot different then getting back to play in 5 minutes. Ill support them if they dont want to play. But id say, The nfl will just open a new playoff spot, if the Bills are done this year.

If the Bills play Thursday and then Monday, the league could consider giving the 2 seed a bye and allowing an 8th team into AFC playoffs
I does that math work? 6 teams play the wildcard. 3 teams advance to the divisional to meet 2 other teams. There is then 5 teams playing in the AFC?

Have to admit, I'm a bit sad that tonight is the last Monday night game. No more Thursday night games and only one Sunday left of regular season football. Really hoping the bills get to the superbowl this year
There will be a monday night game wildcard weekend!

I know this might bring back bad memories, but this intro was just awesome.

For the 1st super bowl, I think I want to be in Buffalo for it. Just to enjoy the moment alone, and then go out and party afterward. I honestly wouldnt go even if i could afford it. For a 2nd or 3rd super bowl, i would want to try to go. If i find $20,000 laying around somewhere by accident.

I hope they change WNY to dolphins vs. Patriots. I know the division race is wrapped up, but they are battling for the final AFC playoff spot.

Well then, duh on me! You are correct. (I still wouldn't count out Baltimore getting flexed two weeks in a row though. Baltimore-Cincy is a much better game than Jax-Tennessee.)
Yeah, one will be on saturday, the other sunday. Baltimore vs cincy might make more sense on SNF since cincy plays on MNF this week. Jax vs Ten goes on Saturday. I think the saturday games are on ABC as well as ESPN so same audience size as NBC. Either works.

So you're telling me you'd rather take a 50% chance in OT with heavily falling snow rather than taking a 100% TD lead with less than a minute?
Yes, I'm willfully giving the ball back. A TD lead with 34 seconds left and forcing noodle arm Tua with no timeouts to drive Miami most likely 75 yards in heavy snow. What are the odds? And even if they did score a TD which is so highly unlikely, whats worst case? They tie it going into OT and you have your 50/50 scenario anyway.
Look, it worked and I'm glad it did. And because it did many will swear it was the right move.
But please don't act like nothing bad couldn't become of it. As a Bills fan we've seen enough over the years scenarios that have gone against us no matter how unlikely.
Of course it's JMHO..
No, i dont want to go to OT, i want to try a short field goal with no time left, cause i think its the best chance to win. Not cause its 100%, nothing is. But its the next best thing. So much more can go wrong by taking a lead to early, when draining the clock is an option. The best defense in the world, cant compete with leaving zero seconds on the clock.

Your opinion and you're entitled. Easy to say now but I'm sure you'd keep it to yourself if the final play had a botched snap, missed kick or fumbled. I mean the weather conditions were perfect, right?
Look at the feedback, plenty agreed and disagreed.
No, because there is a 50% chance buffalo gets the ball back on the next kickoff, which would start OT. Your strategy is wilfully give the ball back to miami. If the clock is on your side, you use it. And its worked every single time I can remember buffalo kicking a <25 yard field goal to win a game in the last 10+ years. I can think of a ton of times buffalo left time on the clock after taking the lead with less then two minutes to go and eventually lost that game. So there are a ton of examples that show you are wrong, and mcdermott was right saturday and in the ravens game.

Your analysis of the situation is correct.
But the determination that it was the “right” decision is dependent on the percentages assigned.
Where did you get those numbers from?
I could just as easily say in a snowstorm there is a 5% chance of missing the kick and a 2% chance of a TD with 40 sec left. Then it’s the wrong decision.
In the last 5 years, I can name alot times where the bills gave up a score with less then two minutes to go in a half. When is the last time the bills missed a winning field goal less then 25 yards?
Nothing is 100% in football ever, so you go with the next best thing. If bass misses the field goal, there is a 50% chance buffalo has the ball on the next play from scrimmage. Every other scenario involves the bills willingly giving the ball back to Miami.

If the bills win the super bowl this way, are people going to still be angry?

SERIOUSLY, NO WARNING. JUST GOT AN E-MAIL THIS MORNING. GLAD I LOOKED BEFORE GOING TO WORK. TRIED TO CALL BILLS TO SEE IF THIS IS LEGIT AND TO MAKE SURE MY SEASONS WERE PART OF THE PLAYOFF PACKAGE AND OF COURSE MY REP IS NOT AVAILIABLE, SO I WAS TOLD TO CALL ANOTHER NUMBER BUT WAS UNABLE TO GET ANYBODY TO ANSWER. SNEAKY, WTF!
Your seasons are. Unless you made a specific request to not want playoff tickets, you automatically get charged for and get tickets to playoffs games

I don't know why, but it fills me with a bit of anger at the number of fans that want the Bills to play most of their games at 1pm Sunday.
Do you guys not realize that Josh Allen is built for prime time?
Do you guys also miss the top 10 draft position?
🤪
Same here. I like 1:00 games too. But not 17 of them. I like the variety of time slots.

Yes because McD tells them before every game, let's just win by 1.
Let's make sure the game is in doubt until the final minute.
I don't want a repeat of Pittsburgh or NE.
Oh & Dorsey, let's make sure the Offense sputters and gives the other teams as many chances as possible. Let's see hwat our defense is made of.
Boy I want to prove those people wronmg who say we can't win a close one.
4 minutes ago, Mr. WEO said:you said they would like to win by 40, but don't have to, as if it's a choice by the team not to.
What im saying is, the motivation to just win is much stronger then the motivation to dominate and blow teams out. So if the way the game plays out doesnt present the opportunity to have the game won by half time, then you do what is necessary to win.

So they are sort of just coasting on purpose? They don't want to beat up on teams on their way to the playoffs?
Interesting...
The bills have had the strongest strength of schedule and strength of victory of all other playoff teams. They have the 2nd highest point differential in the entire league.
Who is coasting on purpose?
Bills fans seem to want them to dominate everybody. The jets have a great defense, and the bills did what they had to, to win
-
The Bills have had the leagues strongest strength of schedule, amd strength of victory of all other playoff teams. They also have the 2nd best point differential. You cant win the super bowl in December. Im not sure what else people want/need to see from them to prove they are legit.

People complaining about the last 4 weeks, dont seem to understand the bills mindset is not to win by 40, they only need to win by 1. They would like to win by 40, sure. But they dont have to, so they just play to win.

It's absolutely adorable so many fans think we can win playoff games like we won today. We will get destroyed if we can't run the ball nor protect our qb.
So if the Bills play the Jets in the playoffs, who wins?
