I like Tyrod but I like 300 yard passing games too. He can shake defenders like nobody. I'd like to keep him around and see someone legitimately beat him out for the starting job. He would be the ultimate backup QB.

I'm of the opinion we would be hard pressed to find a quarterback that can beat Tyrod in training camp. 1st round rookie or not.

  2. Sort of a joke, but I get the feeling Tyrod holds all the cards. Would love to see him audible his own offense (you don't think he wants to get that 3rd and 2 himself after missing that YAC to O'Leary?).

But by all accounts Tyrod is the immaculate professional, as such he will follow Dennison to the ends of the Earth until they are both booted.

The eye test tells me that the Bills lose that game even without the INTs. Taylor was strip sacked for a TD in that game as well. He was a mediocrity today as well, just less mediocre than Smith. Rivers on the other hand is a different story. The Bills were hardly going to be a favorite in that game, nor should they have been. The decision wasn't incompetent as it was desperate. Taylor leftvthem with no option. He stunk in the Jets game as well, though many want to give him a pass there for some reason. He had one on one coverage and saw the same 5 man rush on most plays, yet couldn't and wouldn't beat it. He was BAD. Same in the Saints game . They won today because the defense did a good job albeit vs a struggling KC team that hasn't looked good in a month. Sticking with NP would have been incompetent after that game, but trying it wasn't. What was the alternative really? Lose by less points? What good does that do? You have to try to win each game.

"losing by less points" means you were closer to winning by more points.. what in the ????

Apparently you have or had much more confidence in Tyrod Taylor and his chances in that game than the Coaches did. Who knows the exact reasons but it's clear that throwing a game was not one of them. Perhaps it had something to do with Taylor's ineffectiveness and inability to generate any passing offense the previous few weeks. When Tony Romo and Rihonde Barber are crying for Taylor to throw the ball on mulitiple occasions when he simply wouldn't or settled for a measly check down , you likely have a problem. The coaches saw this. He showed little sign of breaking out of this habit . He wasn't much better today. Can't blame the coach for trying to find a way to spark the offense and it wasn't likely happening at Arrowhead stadium. It was a gamble to try to win a game. That's it.

Yes I do have more confidence in Tyrod than the coaches. I've made it clear that decision was incompetence at it's finest. FYI if you're going to gamble think about the odds; Tyrod has had one legitimately bad game this year, and does not turn it over. Peterman is a 5th round rookie.

The Chargers manhandled the Cowboys and they couldn't cover Keenan Allen either . It was just a shot in the dark by the coach because he felt A Lynn knew exactly how to defend Tyrod and the D wasn't stopping anyone. They had to score points. It backfired, but a 30,000 seat soccer stadium is the place to throw in a rook if you're going to do it. Hopefully it lit a spark under Taylor's arse, but it didn't show much today if it did.

Glad our coach likes taking shots in the dark because he's scared our former offensive coordinator knows how to defend our team.

Glad our coach thinks about stadium size when he wants to throw a rook on the road rather than home.

Glad he thinks he can motivate Tyrod by throwing a game.

Glad our coach thinks the Cowboys are the best team in the NFL and anybody that can beat them is impossible to beat.

Sorry PrimeTime, for the record I think we make playoffs at 9-7, and I'm nervous about that not happening.

If you've actually watched the Chargers play the last few weeks, you'd know that the Bills weren't winning that game with Taylor, who did little today.

sure I've watched the Chargers dude. If you've actually watched football the last few weeks you'd it's a pretty unpredictable sport, teams swing up and down.. I think the Chargers might have done something like that. But if losing is inevitable we might as well throw 5 picks while we do it.

No his statement was he thought Peterman gave them a better chance to win. The reason was Tyrod just played 2 games throwing less than a Girl Scout would and lost both. What was the HC suppose to do, he seen 10 games from Tyrod, he obviously doesn't think it is good enough what he saw. Unfortunately Peterman laid a egg and don't tell me YOU knew that would happen. No where did it show Peterman would have a historically BAD day. I lay that more on the OC and QB coach then him. I will make any metaphor I want, Payton knew you don't learn throwing in the NFL by not throwing. That was the only thing you needed to take from that. Peterman needs to throw so we know where he is at, he has a LONG way to go!

Tyrod played well against the Jets. And uh.. nearly everybody knew Peterman would lay an egg. Heck let's give Levi Brown another shot so we know where he is at.

17 years of history makes me want to agree with you. I think we make it to 9-7 but Ravens need to loose against Titans.

give it a rest. This is not a QB conversation. Please keep this about the current record and if we can get there. If you want to talk about the QB situation go back to one of the other 10 topics out there about our QB.

    Kindly Thanks.

more of a coach discussion, and how it affects our playoff chances

But I hope they can make it in spite of all that

I'm happy for the fans that were looking for a glimmer of hope during the long holiday weekend but I'm not fooled.

All today did was prolong the inevitable and ruin draft position, ironically though it might help improve the draft pick we are getting for the Chiefs because I see them losing at least a few more games given their upcoming schedule.

yes let's just worry about draft position right now. who needs playoffs

If the Chiefs slide continues we'll end up landing another good 1st round pick, probably around the middle of the 1st round if not much higher.

Wouldn't have thought that after they started 5-0 but just goes to show how things play out in this league over the course of a 16 game season.

I still believe in NP, but at least I admitted I was wrong last week (about him helping the team this year).

Sad thing is though is TT supporters are thumping their chests again as if he had anything to do with the Bills winning today.
