Actually, I don't think Peterman's college resume is 'meh' at all. As a senior finished seventh in the nation in passer rating. 11th in total QBR. The Pitt offense finished 10th in the country in points per game. He leaves, and they finish 100th. Not a coincidence.

So we started the 11th best quarterback in college? Wonder where that puts him when he graduated into a league that takes the best 5% of college players.

I defend Taylor and am disgusted as to the coaching, the offensive playcalling by Dennison, putting Taylor in a position to not succeed, the trades tearing down the wr core of the Bills and how transparent it all is.

I however too want them to draft a qb high in the first round and get the weapons needed.  However those will not be in place in 2018, so you keepo Taylor, who has good contract and work at being successful on offense and putting a scheme that works.

Love Dennison who seemed to open up the offense for Peterman (with disastrous results).

Can't do that to a high first round draft pick in 2018......

I don't understand why we can't keep Tyrod until we find a guy that can beat him in camp. Long term or not I want to hold onto the quarterback that gives us the best chance to make the playoffs. Look at where are now!

The  internet is in the public now. You still should not say something you would not say at a family dinner with your parents, at church, on the job. If you think it gives you a pass because you are anonymous, then you are a coward and a fraud. People who hide behind their anonymity show they are not "a man". Being a man means standing up and accepting  the consequences of their actions. Not acting like they are little children,  hiding protected behind their parents legs while hurling insults.    I don't know your age, but that kind of attitude is a sure sign of immaturity. Until the last 5 or so years you became a man when you became socially mature and learned how to properly treat others in socially accepted ways in public and private.  Even our current coach preaches "character", so being on a sports BBS does not give you a pass. That brutish, anti-social attitude and social ineptitude would have banished you to the underbelly of society not that long ago. Of course America's  mores and social standards have plummeted to the pits in the past decade. Lucky for you.

harsh dude. But yeah the OP idea was actually really clear

Definitely a complemenatry palyer who operates best from the slot as many of us intimated.

He'd at least provide depth, Zay and KB doesn't really excite me. Rooting for Zay because if we think Kelvin Benjamin is a game changer:

    He's okay..

They were frustrated sure.  As they were I'm sure by the Saints and Jets games.  Go back and read some of their statements after those games.

And they fought back and won a big one.  Teams where the coach has lost the players don't do that.  So again quit throwing out trite little phrases as if they mean something.  The guy made one decision that was as even he put it a calculated risk,  and it didn't work.

Really?  Explain why they came back and won Sunday if the team was lost.

don't just throw hackneyed phrases out there if you have nothing to back it up.

Hackneyed and trite.. Are you having a hard time reading english? I'm sorry my "phrases" confuse you.

So basically what you're saying is he didn't lose the team by putting Taylor back in.

Let me me explain what losing a team means.  It means the team stops playing and mails it in to try and get a coach fired.  It does not mean going on the road into a hostile Arrowhead and winning a game they had to have to stay in playoff contention.

    Hopes this helps you understand.

That's your definition of losing a team. These players are competitive and want to make the playoffs, and don't tell me they're not frustrated by the Chargers game.

Chip Kelly. The players still played hard for him (even Shady), but they certainly didn't like him actively making their roster less talented.

I'm backing it up with the chargers game. The defense knew they weren't going to win around picks 3 and 4. The whole team played better the next week. Was it McDermott's great leadership? No it was the team knowing their quarterback wasn't going to throw the game.

Wow what a great adjustment by McD.

and then won them over again against the Chiefs. Can the trolling go away until we actually are out of the playoffs?

if we're out of the playoffs by one game because our head coach lost a team going into a game, I'll "troll" (make a case against McDermott) you to oblivion.

They just won Sunday.  Big victory on the road.  Fighting for a playoff spot.  Made a bad decision about QB but smart enough to reverse that.

And now now you want to start with him losing the team?  You want to complain about the D after they just reawoke and shut down KC?

McD will be here for a while.  Get used to it.

He lost the team when they played the Chargers. Not a good start.

This is what makes Belichick so great. He takes whatever players he has and finds ways to get every ounce of potential out of them.

Think about it: Chris Hogan and Danny Amendola cannot be covered by ANY NFL CBs. They are uncoverable and unstoppable. wide open every play.

Belichick went from a defensive minded coach to a throw it every down coach with a decent but mediocre defense and bad OL. He has won with a young Brady as a game manager with a great defense. He has won with a super powerful offense and okay defense, and he has won with a bad defense and all offense.

He knows football inside and out, and will use a scheme that suits his talent. We are seeing that this is very rare, as most coaches know one system and will force it on whoever they have because they don't know the game well enough to adapt.

I agree with you. But that's too hot of a take.

Tom Brady. End of story. GOAT. Everyone is a genius and wide open when he's throwing the ball.

I get what McDermott is trying to do, he’s getting rid of players who are not buying into “the process,” as well as those players that have high salaries who are constantly dealing with injuries. So far, he seems too much like McDaniels and it seems more players are giving up on him.

How to lose a locker room 101.

    1) the coach's decision was stupid

    2) he will never have a bigger chip than he did against KC. He passed for under 200 yards and led us to 16 point.

    Tyrod is what he is.

Whatever maybe he throws more next game maybe less. But are we really going to have 10 pages of criticism for our quarterback having confidence?

You're missing the point and taking me too literal. It's the optics of your starting QB not being focused on the biggest game of his life. Plus, it's embarrassing that he thinks he's pro bowl worthy just a week and a half after getting benched for a 5th round rookie QB because his play was so poor. He looks delusional which is not a good look for your leader.

I like my quarterback with a chip on his shoulder. That's all this is. And do I need to explain the coach's decision to bench him was moronic?
