So this actually has more to do with you not knowing the rules than the refs.

Count me in that group as well then... I still thought it was only stopped inside two minutes.  Somehow, I haven't noticed the change.

Do we still not know what a catch is?  That's my biggest concern... it used to be so easy.

I wish the league would stop making rule changes each year based on how they thought the playoffs should have turned out the year before.

Allen is a winner, for sure. Not sure he'll ever get to a place of consistent, elite QB play, but I bet he'll win a lot of games.

Brady didn't have to be a gunslinger until he had been playing for a half dozen years.  You all remember they played good defense and kept games close, dink/dunk offense with high percentage passes.  They didn't start the wide open offense until what... 2006 or 2007?  Belichick and the defense won those first three Super Bowls in my opinion.  Not a bad blueprint to follow if you can pull off the defense, and I think our guys can.  I have my doubts about Frazier but I like what McBeane has been doing with the team.

For a young guy, he didn't let adversity get him down.  Allen showed a resolve you can not be coached.

Good quote from Coach Cowher on post-game... he said "adversity doesn't build character, it reveals it."

I had my doubts earlier in the game, but Allen shook off the turnovers and made plays when he had to.  He wasn't alone... it was a great team win.

I don’t suspect that it will go anywhere but that’s what I’ve heard from a few people. NO ONE is happy about this around the league.

It does set a bad precedent... guys that don't like the contracts that bind them can act out, get themselves released, and become free agents with no real fallout.  The most talented will always be rewarded.  Diva players everywhere are getting ideas.

If the Raiders had exiled him without releasing him, they would still have to pay him, right?

I hate to see a team take a moral stand with a childish player and be punished for doing so... just glad the Bills didn't find themselves where the Raiders are today.
