You don't think shining a flashlight like that, in a cops face, couldn't be considered assault of an officer?  I do!  They're essentially blinded by that, and cant effectively do their job.  What is being allowed is beyond an assault on officers, and should be treated as such, immediately!

    Update

I thought this pedophilia thing was overly exaggerated, but it sure seems to be one hell of a coincidence.

Good to know. I stopped eating at McDonald's when they started putting social justice in the special sauce, but I'll make an exception if they're not making any money off it.

Why do all of these Antifa/BLM people look like the absolute dreggs of society, across the board?  Hell, most of them look like they're, at a minimum, partially mentally handicapped.  If not Aspergers or something similar, at minimum, supremely deficient social upbringing.

    Tuna And Jell-O Pie

There are certain things that just are not supposed to be together, and the tuna-gelatin combination here is one of these unholy pairings. This gnarly pie somehow won a Betty Crocker cooking contest in 1956, and features a pie base that is basically lemon jello mixed with tomato sauce, vinegar, onion, celery, and spices. To ensure that you get sick after your meal, the recipe calls for a healthy dollop of tuna on top.

Writers of the 1965 version of Betty Crocker's Dinner in A Dish called it, "pretty as can be." Yeah, no. This thing looks unnatural and would probably make aliens afraid of us.

FYI - mix the above, minus tuna, plus minced shrimp, and you have 'shrimp-dip' (okay, maybe without the lemon of the gelatin, but it requires gelatin to 'set-up').  I know it doesn't sound good, but I promise promise, it's freaking out of this world good, and is a requirement for every party my wife and I attend (I don't know if we suck so bad that we have to bring the treat to get admittance to said parties, but it doesn't hurt, and is what keeps getting us invited!) :)

Holy crap, I got through about 1/2 of that, and just couldn't take any more.  I went from a thanks, to a LOL, to wanting a WTF or WOW 'emoji' thing.  Just, OMG, (also want an OMG emoji!);  how are we supposed to take these people seriously, when they accuse us/we/me of every offense, under the sun, that I don't think/want/do.  Just WOW!

Judicial Watch announced today it received 165 pages of records from the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) showing the FDA between 2012 and 2018 entered into 8 contracts worth $96,370 with Advanced Bioscience Resources (ABR) to acquire “fresh and never frozen” tissue from 1st and 2nd trimester aborted fetuses for use in creating “humanized mice” for ongoing research.

    Hilarious.

You clowns do know the Donald J Trump was against the EC right?

Mar 20, 2019 - President Trump, who once called the electoral college “a disaster for a democracy,” ... Elizabeth Warren wants to abolish the electoral college. ... in Kentucky in long-shot bid against Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell.

It WOULD be a disaster for a democracy.  Good thing we're not a democracy.  Seems to work perfectly for a representative republic, though!

I've watched Morgan Freeman forever, and loved him for a long time, then he said some stupid stuff, and made me think he was just another stupid lefty.  This makes me think he has his head screwed on half-way right, at least. :)  He'd be a GREAT person to come out, and publicly condemn the stupid stuff going on right now, in the name of race.

Where are the ACTUAL, actionable conservatives in that list?

I have zero confidence in any of them to resist the pressures applied by the leftist media in this country.

Are you kidding?  Have you heard Cruz speak/read his tweets?  He's an outspoken voice, and rails against the media.  I voted for him in the general, and as some others here have said, I abstained in the presidential election this last time.  Trump will get my vote this time, and I'm hoping to have the opportunity to vote for Cruz again.

You will call the community action team. They will arrive in a well marked vehicle and detain your intruder. They will then take them to a building where they will be detained and asked questions.

But what would we call such a team?  And how would we remember their phone number?  And why are we just now thinking of this?!

I feel like an A-hole, because, at the time, I actually didn't hate Romny.  Now, I also recall, at the time, I was more a "Tea-party" conservative type, because I like the rule of law, and not seeing out our rights regarding international trade deal stuff screwed over.  I get, now, that Mitt is a party guy, and didn't give a flying F about conservative principals.  Sucks I was wrong at the time, or now, or both.  Probably more wrong, then.

  11. We had these agitators bus'ed in to Tulsa as well.  Walking down the middle of the street, without required permits to protest.  I don't like having to have a permit to protest, but then again, it's a massive annoyance to have people meandering in the middle of the street, where someone could get hurt.  Just stupid as sin!

If you want to protest, go for it.  But gather in one place where people can recognize what you're doing, and do so peacefully.  Anything more, recognize that you're just making a nuisance of yourselves, and you do more harm than good.

Joe Biden denies he was involved in Michael Flynn probe

    </snip>

“I know nothing about those moves to investigate Michael Flynn,” Biden said in an interview on ABC’s ‘Good Morning America’ on Tuesday.

“This is all about diversion,” he continued when asked about President Trump’s belief that the case against the former national security adviser was “the biggest political crime in US history.”

“This is the game this guy plays all the time,” Biden said. “The country is in crisis. We’re in an economic crisis, we’re in a health crisis. We’re in real trouble. He should stop trying to always divert attention from the real concerns of the American people.”

    </snip>

We REALLY need a "WOW" emoji for such things, as the stock ones available just don't capture the proper response!

The U of Washington study and Imperial college study each had 2+ mil if nothing was done, and a floor of 100-250k if rigorous and strict social distancing measures were in place everywhere. What people comment on is that we made decisions based off of this, and then watched them adjust their predictions come in at half of their floor value as plenty of areas did a downright poor job of social distancing compared to what the models asked for at the times they made the claims.

pointing out that this is important to note isn't a far right thing, even if far right people take it to ill-advised conclusions (and I don't see a lot of people asking for ill-advised things in this thread)

For emphasis, I'll restate, we just got done watching a several week process of these models walking back their projected death totals by a huge percentage lower than their previous best case scenarios, as the country did a thoroughly mediocre job of shutting down. We were obviously working with bad data, and perhaps bad models, and should be talking about this so that we are making the next round of decisions with better models and data. This is not a right or left wing talking point, it is reality

I'm a 'far rightie', and I was game for the shutdown until we got an idea what we were dealing with, and to give the hospitals, etc., time to make sure they were going to be able to handle any massive outbreak.  Once we saw that the infrastructure was sufficient to handle things, area to area, I think we should have then treated this like we would the flu:  stay home if you're sick and/or susceptible, and use increased hygiene precautions.  I didn't and don't think a full shut-down of the country was necessary, especially after the first 2-3 weeks (and I'm fairly certain this will be shown to be the case).  They should have had the young and healthy out and about doing their normal things a couple weeks ago at least, and keep the elderly and infirm at home, like they've forced on us all instead.

So last night, after draining a healthy glass of absinthe, you know, the favored drink of suicidal artists and syphilitic whores, I had a vision. I was surrounded by a dense, emerald green fog that blinded me until a cool breeze gradually pushed the fog further and further away. As the fog receded, I could barely make out the silhouette  of two football players. Slowly, the helmeted figures emerged and there he was, Josh Allen, resplendent in his red, white and vibrant blue Bills uniform. But he wasn't alone. Standing next to him was none other than Sam Darnold who though less resplendent than Josh, was also sporting a red, white and vibrant blue Bills uniform. Sam explained that in 2020, the Jets, being the Jets, tanked and then took Lawrence No. 1 in the 2021 draft. Josh insisted that the Bills pick up the recently released Darnold to be his back-up. I asked Josh how we did in 2020 but before he could respond, he started yelling at me to stop drinking so much and to let our barking dog in before the neighbors went crazy.  His voice and appearance started changing until he was gone and all that was left was my now irate wife who was not looking at all resplendent.

We really, REALLY need a "wow!" emoji smiley-face thingy for posts just like this! :)

I find more and more that I'm wondering about the long term ramifications of the current social distancing measures being implemented. For example, teleworking has jumped forward a decade in some fields and business operations are changing as companies are forced to expose antiquated policies are not actually essential, as they've insisted to avoid change. Similar with school. I wonder if there are any long term changes there that come out of this.

I work for a regional utility in the corporate office - probably 500 employees in the office (another 3K+ in the field).  We've been lobbying for more work-from-home opportunities, with much resistance.  The reasons given were those you'd expect, from 'not feasible that the work could get done the same', to 'lack of accountability', to the argument that others within our own company could not do the same (the field employees).  This is now beginning of week two of our work-from-home situation, and the good news is, the work is still getting done.  I'm hoping this will further weaken the arguments against, and will provide proof that working from home in our office/industry is doable! :)

It’s ok to not like a signing of a aging veteran without being labeled negative. Fan debate is part of the sport landscape.

And that's what he's doing - debating  your negative take on the signing, and and this player's future with the Bills.
