  1. Of course not, but that wasn’t my point. Was looking forward to him on the call.
  2. Lame. I like Tirico, but Michaels is SNF. He’s called our games 2x in 20 years. Used to call us all the time back in the day on MNF.
  3. What a turnaround Garrett Bolles has made. Guy was terrible, and borderline bust worthy, up until this year. Good on him.
  4. Silly Bronco fans, this won’t hold. Once Mahomes wakes up it’ll be night night time.
  5. Thankfully they didn’t challenge and that didn’t count. Even though it would’ve been miraculous by Hill, it spares us all from another “no-look pass” type moment with Mahomes and the media this week. They would’ve tried to make it about him. Guy drops a deuce and it’s the greatest deuce ever.
  6. Oh I hear ya. What you’re saying may very well be the case. But I could see with how busy these guys are if they don’t pay too much attention to mid-season, non-conference opponent until they have to. What with injuries and everything that could change that team’s lineup by the time you get to play them. I don’t really know. His comments seem strange to me too. Just a guess on my part to try to make sense of his comments.
  7. Agreed. But, I think these guys are so dialed in to prepping for their opponent each week that they don’t have a ton of time to watch a lot of tape on other players. Especially those in another conference that you only have to face once every 4 years. So I’m guessing they may tend to let what they hear in the media influence their initial opinions until they turn on the tape. I’m not saying that’s what’s happening because what the hell do I know. Just a guess.
  8. As absurd as this and his extended comments on the offense were, is this really that far fetched? Being serious, no jerk. In fairness to him, they only have to play the Bills once every 4 years. It’s conceivable they’ve watched zero tape on the Bills and Allen until prepping for this game and he was going off the same old fly-by lazy media driven narrative. Unlike a division or conference game, why would he waste his time watching Bills tape until now?
  9. Simms does his homework and I love how he loves Josh. That said, it bothers me that his show is called “Chris Simms Unbuttoned”, but the logo for the show is of a buttoned shirt. Which is it? 🤷‍♂️
  10. Man...who knew there were so many 49er apologists out there in the media. Guess the Bills shouldn’t even get on the plane.
  11. Yep, definitely could see that. Saints are up there with a healthy Brees. Although, pre-injury, he was looking a little shakier to me this year. Age catches up to us all at some point. As good as their defense is, it may be enough to make up any slight step back from the offense. Another team in the NFC that’s up there for me is the Packers. If the Bills can’t make the Super Bowl, I think a Rodgers vs. Mahomes showdown would be really fun.
  12. Agreed. Honestly, for me, it’s the Chiefs and then everyone else chasing them. Doesn’t mean Chiefs can’t be beat. Just means they’re the best team going right now.
  13. I absolutely think we can beat them, but none of that has to do with how they looked tonight for me. Their D is what’s most concerning to me. The Bud Dupree injury hurts for sure, but they just keep rotating in LBs that produce. Pittsburgh seems to have a good defense every year. No matter who is playing for them. It’s a mentality they seem to have year over year.
  14. This. For those of you underestimating Pittsburgh because of how they looked tonight, remember how out of sorts we looked against Tennessee. We’ll get Pittsburgh’s best effort and we better be ready.
  15. Methinks these Steelers receivers, particularly Diontae Johnson, don’t like the cold.
  16. I understand the sentiment, but we are two back with 5 to play, including a head to head. Not unfathomable to pass them.
  17. Have these receivers ever caught a football? For crying out loud. Two TD passes there. Ebron only one doing him any favors.
  18. Should be permanent. Love these. Especially with the blue unis.
  19. We had a bad stretch there with Milano getting dinged, then his backup Dodson (who was playing well) gets dinged, and then Klein looked like he couldn’t tackle and was wearing cement shoes. Fast forward a few weeks and Klein is playing great. Getting them back improves depth and is a good problem to have. It affords them some time to make the right call on their health by not feeling like they have to rush them back. Also, I hope strengthening our depth and weathering that patch of adversity pays dividends down the line.
