I don’t see a bunch of cuts. They have the money and will only cut players like Murphy for a cheaper upgrade. Despite what people say on this board, Star and Murph can’t be replaced by a late round pick.

Who is #20 on the Bills that someone in the crowd would have a jersey?
Whitner or Gore

Reid snapped it far left and Corey had to rush the kick to get it out of the end zone.

Bad snap. That’s not on the punter.

Towards the end of the interview, Jeremy asked for donations to go to an organization, in lieu of flowers. I believe it is the Western New York Perinatal Bereavement Network. Below is the link to donate. Let’s make it happen.

Jalen Ramsey will probably cost a first, so he’s off my list. I offer a 2nd for Fitzpatrick all day. He’s cost controlled for years and is versatile. Draft picks are overvalued, especially if they are owned by playoff teams. Fitzpatrick is a young, proven player who can lock down the slot or let Hyde shift to nickel. It’s a luxury move, but dirt cheap. He’s more of a sure thing than you’ll get with the 52nd pick next year.

No Bruce Smith footage is just plain wrong. He doesn’t get enough credit and appreciation from national media. I don’t think he seeks any attention like the LT and Ray Lewis types, but the all-time sack leader deserves some attention from the league.

The goal for your developmental practice squad QB is to one day be a reliable backup. A safe, steady, accurate QB that can hold the team stable for a half or a couple games, not a boom or bust candidate. There will be plenty of safe options after cut day.
Improving Josh Allen’s accuracy or just developing into a less of a gunslinger is a tough task. Tyree Jackson is exponentially more raw and inaccurate.

Based on what we've seen against preseason 3rd stringers, Tyree Jackson is nowhere close to being capable of running an offense. He won't be active on gamedays. And in the event we needed a #3 quarterback to actually play, our front office would certainly scan the waiver wire for vets before putting Jackson on the field.
We don't really need to develop another "future" guy. Both of our current Quarterbacks are young, and should be around for the next several years. Jackson is obviously not displacing Josh Allen anytime soon. At worst, Allen will get another 3-4 seasons to prove himself. Matt Barkley is also only 28, and has developed into a dependable NFL backup.
Don’t all teams have a PS QB to run the scout team against the starting D in practice?

This was a bad pick that the Bills did not have a need for to begin with.
Shady is gone after this year, Gore is 35(?), and T.J. Yeldon is not a lead back. There was a need.

What a joke of an article. Rosen, Murray, Flacco, Lamar Jackson ahead of him, ridiculous. Secondly, We all know what Eli is and he is not deserving of dead last.

They should give Lamar Jackson a chance to have a full year working with a playbook built for him.. rather than some jerry-rigged converted Flacco offense.
LJ went 6-2 as a rookie they have no reason not to see how he improves.
That defense was very good. 75 passing yards per game and 12 fumbles, I don’t see an upside. But what about the rushing yards?
147 rushes for 695 yards
Josh Allen
89 rushes for 631 yards

The name difference at the very top is a No for me.
it actually happens more often than you realise. I forbid the Bills from trading their fifth rounders.
I agree that 5th rounders become starters on occasion and have value, but I don’t hate the thought of drafting a pro bowl punter, especially after watching our train wreck at the position last year. I don’t think we have to worry about this because Corey B. Should be a solid option for the near future.

Absolutely Allen over Jackson. I think both Edmunds and Vander Esche are both going to be muitiple time pro bowlers. We ended up with Teller an Wallace. O'Neil could have alleviated our need for a RT. Chubb may have allowed the Bills to move off McCoy in this off-season, Dickson as punter, never would draft a punter. Miller could have been the WR needed in this draft. The actual draft produced a long-term slot corner in Johnson and Siran Neal could be that hybrid S/LB the Bills D wants and needs.
But it is an interesting comparison.
You draft punters when they make the pro bowl as a rookie. 5th round is high, but not if he is 10 year player. Matt Milano is the exception, not the rule for the 5th round.

Allen and Edmunds will eventually cost Beane and McDermott their jobs.
The were the best players on the field today. Edmunds had a pick, then blew up a RB and jumped over him to get a sack. The Allen pick was high risk-high reward, but he’s already a competent starter. Edmunds is locked in at starter for the next decade.

Imagine if all those people weren't there to try and restrain him, this would have been a lot worse. He hit and kicked a 19 year old girl. I think he may play in the league again, but I hope it's not here. I don't know if I ever heard of the Tyreke Hill incident before today, but he benefited from no video and not being in the NFL when it occurred.
Stop making excuses. He's an adult, the NFL provides seminars on these exact situations, he made his bed and has to sleep on it.

The backup or third string QB are the least of this O's problem. There are 3 NFL caliber starters of the 11.

OPI on da Bears.
Wow, ticky tack OPI, they were both wrangling.
LOL, we waste a TO after the Bears call a TO. Way to coach McD.
Cohen was one on one with Taron Johnson outside. I assume he saw that and called a timeout.

Same here, but I have a slightly quicker trigger. A pick on the first drive, see ya.

I'll like to make one of these someday to represent the Rensselaer County delegation. Probably will not make this one.

I think you can tell he has a ton of experience as a QB. He understood the clock and down and distance. He fired up the team and they responded. We won the second half. If the D didn't start so slow or we get one of those fumble calls, we could haven stolen a win. Allen is the Anti-Tyrod. His eyes are downfield, sometimes for too long. He gets away with this because he is so big and can take hits. His touch can be poor and maybe that never changes. He also can run and has a rocket. After 60 minutes of NFL game tape, I am excited for the future.

The only reason Teller is on the squad is he was drafted with a 5th.
He really isn’t that good.
The Bills are in trouble at guard.
Teller did not allow a sack last year against big time college competition. He will likely get some starts this year. He has shown flashes and he's gonna be here for a few years. Let's not write him off after one preseason. He doesn't have to be an All-Pro this year, just better than the journeymen they have assembled in the middle of the line.

I have a Jairus Byrd jersey that I bought at the game against Seattle in Toronto. I realize all that is wrong in that statement. I thought Byrd was going to play centerfield for the Bills for a decade. I cant stomach to wear it after the way he left. He makes me second guess every jersey purchase I make. I will send this jersey to anyone who wants it free of charge.
I also have a Stevie Johnson jersey. I wear that most Sundays. He will always be one of my favorite Bills. He had a great few years in Bills Uniform and wanted to break the drought.
I am currently considering a Tre Dey jersey but i dont trust my track record

Tyrod Taylor Could Be Chargers New Starting QB

Agreed. Keenan Allen will have half his usual stats with Tyrod. He could also have 120 catches with Brady.
