Hypothetical questions that aren't realistic, really aren't legitimate questions.  I can pose a question like this: If Gisele leaves Brady do you think I have a chance?  The question is something only Lloyd Christmas would ask.

Beane clearly stated that Trubisky is here for 2021 when he signed.  His response would be "I already stated when we signed him he's here for the entire season" while he'd be thinking : What's wrong with you for asking such a stupid question, wasn't I clear enough when I said he's here for the season?

    So....regarding Giselle, you're saying I have a chance?

All teams are regional.  Those regions are generally fairly small in the Northeast where you have half a dozen other metros within a few hours drive.  The Patriots are the only truly regional team in the northeast as Boston is the main hub of the New England area.

Denver is unique as they are bordered on all sides by massive states that do not have professional football.  Dallas was also well positioned in that regard.  The old Oilers leaving Houston crippled the Houston market.

Love how the Rams fans are completely left off this map as if they don't exist, lol.

Master Bates supposedly has been training to be the heir apparent at center. I have no idea how he is viewed by the coaches though. It would be pretty great if he was up to the task though, he has good size imo.

Sure glad we have that dude, Master Bates.  On the other hand, we should release Ryan Bates; just not good enough with his hands.

Is it not true?  If your analysis doesn’t include winning a super bowl, than it’s incomplete. That would be the purpose of trading a first rd pick for Mack?

You wouldn’t trade a 1st rd pick for a SB?  It’s no sure thing but it’s going for it.  The Bucs went for it last season.  They won the super bowl.  The pats went for it several years.  They won several Super Bowls.  The Eagles went for it in 18, they won a SB.  The chiefs traded a 1st for Frank Clark.  They went for it and won a super bowl. The Broncos went and got Demarcus ware, two years later, they win the super bowl.  These are the moves that championship team make.  Sitting and waiting while everyone else goes for keeps your trophy case bare.

Emmanuel Sanders isn’t going for it.  There will be more moves.  How far will the moves move our needle?

    So?

You give excellent examples in Frank Clark and Demarcus Ware, players who put their teams over the top. That would be our one glaring, missing ingredient immediately filled, and by a home town UB boy nonetheless. Story book SB ending. The other side of the argument is a team like 'Da Bears who went for it by signing Mack. Didn't turn out so well. True, they had Mitchell Trubisky at QB but we don't have a large sample size for Josh. He had his first monster season largely in empty stadiums. Is it possible that when we go back to playing in front of 75,000 fans that we'll see more of Sugar high Josh or more human playoff Josh? I certainly hope that's not the case but it's not out of the realm of the possible. To be honest, I would have been happy with Carl Lawson rather than the high end guys but I'm still hopeful there will be cuts that McBeane could pounce on.

Absolutely troublesome performance by coaches and O-line. The only argument in their defense is with Singletary ,who should have been wearing a dress as timid as he was, the D-line pinned their ears and just brought pressure. A semblance of a running attack would have slowed them a little. The other argument is its one terrible game.

It was more than one terrible game. They were manhandled twice by the Chiefs, albeit in very different ways. The first, regular season game, Edwards Helaire ran all over them at will; the AFCCG Mahomes, Hill and Kelce had their way. Pick your posion. We had zero answers on D in either game, and struggled mightily without a semblance of balance on offense.

I played a client/acquaintance once in a friendly little match at our club. I knew he was a prominent judge and his wife was a teacher my wife was friendly with. That’s all I knew.

I was up 5-2 in the first, and lost. I waS UP 4-1 in the second, and lost. I got tight, and he got better. Laser focus. Like Sampras, saved himself for the BIG points and never made a mistake.

I later learned he was the all-time single season scoring average player for University of Florida basketball. A rather large but agile man. He had also won 2 straight 4.0 club championships and I think he was in the finals at 4.5 playing against former college players.  He had a mental level I did not have available.

There is another level,  but you just keeping plugging away.

Jessica fading here, as I did.....

Yep. So much for my theory of saving her resources for the final set. However this match ends, what an incredible run by Jess.

Pegs falling apart here, just double-faulted to 0-40, and there it is, Brady gets the 2nd set 6-2, after breaking Pegs at love.  Not looking good for the local girl.  She owned Brady in the 1st set, Brady owned her in the 2nd.  Let's hope Pegs can get it back for the 3rd set.  If not, Brady 6-0 is right there.

I hear you but optimistically I wonder if Jess wanted to conserve energy for the third set. Pacing herself. Fingers crossed.

They also didn't have Gronk, AB or Fournette

All three of whom contributed to TB's SB win last night. Certainly Gronk and AB chose Tampa BECAUSE of Brady. Not as sure about Fournette. Here in Patriots nation, the local radio talking heads (Felger and Maz) are eviscerating the Hoodie for letting the golden boy get away. What's clear to everyone is that Brady makes a much better GM than the dark Lord (who essentially acts as de facto GM). Whatever we may think of TB12 (he's been the bane of my existence for the last 2 decades that I've been living in New England), the culture change that he effected within the Buccaneers organization in 9 months is nothing short of remarkable.

The chiefs didn’t score a TD.

this game wasn’t more Brady.  It’s was more defense.  Just like Brady’s last super bowl win....his D gave up zero TDs.... hard to lose Super Bowls when your opposition doesn’t score ONE TD

It certainly wasn't all Brady. TB's front 7 is just dominating. But TB had virtually the same defense the previous year and got nowhere with Jameis Winston. As much as I hate to admit it, Brady had plenty to do with getting them to the big game and winning it all.
